I actually started a project like this once. Got about as done as you are now. Here are some pics:
Only difference here... I also have a bukkit plugin in development to actually make a RS in MC possible. I want to make sure it's quality though, because there were some things about RS that just drove me away. Want to make sure that players would get the best of both. So, might be a bit of time.

I hope this was a joke because you basically use one material for the entire city. :/ At least on my builds I try to utilize all of the extra blocks, instead of just stone, cobblestone, wood, and half blocks.

dude this is epic this is either of equal or better value than ours maybe wondering how you got the scales was it by sight or a program also last thing could you give us the name of that plugin or if you made it can i get a DL that sounds amazing.
Ok all i did and didnt lie to you we were working on the road to lumby then we hit ocean so we chose to just finish off varrok and then work on falador next. but we will be digging the line to the wildy tomorrow but we dont want to work on it untill i find a mod or something that can stop dirt from turning into grass. We got about 2 buildings maybe 6/7 way till we hit lumby and finally we stared the museum. we didnt get much done because im really sick right now and can barely stand so i slept most of the day and worked maybe 2 hours. sorry all. also to all the forum trolls im just going to ignore you from now on, you are a very small minority that i dont have to care about theres a troll for every 20 fans so good day to you. Oh well if your using a Bukkit server you could get VoxelSniper to help you fill in that ocean. And I think Essentials has an option to prevent grass from growing.
You have many things that are majorly not in proportion and they are very noticeable...like the walk way to the wild and to Juliet's house, not to mention these buildings are too far from the bank.

Everything you see is 100% exact to scale in Runescape. One RS tile (measured by walking) = 1 block for the entirety of Varrock, the best we could do. This system breaks down with dungeons though, since their caves/dungeons don't match up to the surface. In addition, this system takes a very, very long time to build, so IF we decide to continue, then it will most likely be more by-sight. With quality-assurance of course.
Plugin is literally about 2% done right now. And, chances are very high that I won't be releasing and make it a unique server, but that's some really liberal speculation. Just about everything I need, I've got figured out though... It would implement (almost) the same leveling system as RS, but I'd still need to figure out how I want to handle mobs. There were some things in RS I really didn't like, so those will be changed (read: non-interactive combat, overkill experience charts).
