Hello there I built this on the dreamworld generator and i wanted to make a big floating city with a steampunk style
i need ideas for some building and landmarks , and i want serious ideas:P

So far so good. I love the idea of propellers beneath the houses, and that tower looks great. As far as suggestions... hm. Maybe some kind of medium-sized island with a large propeller or steam engines to keep it up/move it around the sky. A weak idea, but eh, there you have it.

I was thinking mabye you could add little floating islands with propellers on the bottom that hold 1 or 2 houses surrounding the one large island.

Actually im occupied by the dock and the main city but it will be done later ... but if you have any airship pic post them there :tongue.gif:

BTW, Where did you get the flat map?

It looks like a sky world that's been modded in. (Notch forgot to take the sky world generation code out of 1.6)

From what I can barely make out of those very dark screenshots, this is great!

From what I saw in the first few screenshots, the houses look quite separate to each other. I think it would look better if they were a bit more cluttered and close together.

Well actually the houses you see is a windmill , a farm and a farmhouse .... its just a little rustic area

Looks great! I thinks maybe you should do a few houses on the side of one of the floating masses, like in The Castle in the Sky(if you've ever seen it).

This is very nice, I am personally a huge fan of steampunk, and this looks really good. Not sure what else to suggest (You seem to be doing a fantastic job on it), If anything, maybe you could build a very steampunk-ish power plant/generator... Just a suggestion...

This is awesome. Might I persuade you to release the schematics?
