I do! Toss in a little sandstone, and you get this!
UPDATE: I just built Pumpkin House 2.0! Scroll down or click here to see it!
All built legit, except for the brown wool carpeting. That's right, I found every one of those pumpkins.
The mossystone minecart track was there before all the buildings, and is not legit.
The "hot tub" roof of the building next door supplies an incinerator.
It's small on the outside, but the inside is huge!
Cool. Roughly how long did this take you to build? And how many pumpkins is that. I see 38?
Thanks. It took weeks of running around looking for patches to gather the pumpkins, but only about 2 days or so of part-time playing to build it. I lost count of how many pumpkins it took...maybe 50 or 60 or so.
Amazing I love it. I can never find that many pumpkins though... I'd be a shame.. If something where to happen... What a nice houSSSSSSSe you have there...
My experience gathering pumpkins lately-
1: Go far (400 blocks) looking for pumpkins.
2: Forget where your base is.
3: Find pumpkins.
4: ???
5: Build chest and tower, write down coordinates, place pumpkins inside, and
commit suicide.
6: Re-Spawn, and go looking for the chest.
7: Repeat step 5 and 6 because night came before you got back to your base.
(Optional)8: Sigh in defeat, and decide to not look for the pumpkins anymore.
9: Find pumpkins 10 blocks from your base.
That's right, I built another one from scratch, this time on my 1.8.1 SMP server.
This one looks just like the old one from the front, save for being built into a ravine wall. Next to it is "The RGB Corral", named for the sheep it holds. I'm loving animal persistance!
Now to the backyard...you can see that it's about twice as big as Pumpkin House 1.0. I dug all this out, and shaped the cavern by hand....took me forever! The lighting & cloudscape bit above it took about as long as the cavern itself to get right.
The inside looks the same as the original when you walk in...
...Until you go down the stairs...
...Then it's simply MASSIVE compared to the house's outer structure. The door in the back leads to a cave system I bumped into while digging out the interior.
I still haven't figured out what to do with all this space. Ideas here are welcome!
Much like a milkshake, shaking a design template makes everything better :smile.gif:.
So true! Lately I'm been going through all my old-world creations, and renovating them. Replacing excess cobble with other materials, adding in piston devices, etc. 'Tis quite fun!
This house is majorly sexy. I made a pumpkin house out of pumpkins (walls), melons (floor), and iron bars (windows) once. I didn't bother making it any good but it certainly looked interesting. You definitely have me beat. :biggrin.gif:
2.0 is my favorite, especially the RGB sheep. The only suggestion I have is that you remove the pumpkins that are sticking out, or at least post a pic of the house without. I don't think they look very good.

Made a nice storage warehouse out of it.
Piggy goin for a dip in the hot tub.

Marvin: "I have a million ideas. They all point to certain death."
It has faces in all the wrong places!
Definitely something new, i enjoy it.
Funny cause it's true.
I don't really hate anything though

I was overjoyed!! That's what prompted me to build the bigger Pumpkin House 2.0 in the first place. :smile.gif:
