Initally, I was stacking minecarts with a ramp to attempt to make a minecart magazine without a minecart rail at the bottom, and I stopped with the idea at 25 minecarts after I broke the dirt block underneath to drop them all onto the minecart rail, which made the minecarts stack on top of eachother, kinda like the minecart forcefield thingy, which it can replicate given enough minecarts. Then, I used a whoooooooole bunch of minecarts, and I found that they weren't all too uniform.
this here is more than 180 minecarts
the lowest point of the ramp is the second highest point of the minecart sculpture, and the ramps highest point is y=128, you might want to try holding the mouse button down underneath the slanted rail while placing minecarts if you wish to make your own one of these
now THIS bad boy is over 900 minecarts
I tried to make one with 1000ish minecarts, but minecraft couldn't render them all at once
I would like to see somebody else do something similar to this, mabye with two z coordinates of minecarts, assuming that those minecarts of mine are lined up on the X axis
WARNING: attempting to replicate this or anything similar might make your computer ****ing EXPLODE or more realistically, sprout an arm, reach for the nearest gun, and shoot itself
my CPU cost about $800.00(in 2008) and can handle at least a bit more then as many minecarts as I had
