This is so far my main house on my current world, though no doubt far off expansions will come. It's a bit smaller then I would have liked, but I'll remedy that in future homes. There are other rooms not listed here such as storage, a bathroom and a dungeon.
A look through the main hall.
The main sitting room.
Dining room.
My personal bedroom.
The view from my balcony.
This is the fountain centerpiece of the city I'm creating. (I blew up half of the flat area manually with tnt, but atfer that just got impatient and MCedited the land out in a square.)
And last but not least, my nether-themed nether portal room! It was hard to get a decent angle to shoot from, this picture doesn't give it justice.
EDIT: Bah, getting a lot of errors. If the pictures dont appear right click them and select properties. Copy and paste the link into your browser bar. =S
Typicalspoon, that's beautiful! I assume you're using the sand-mining torch glitch: I only discovered it the other day and it makes life so much simpler!
May I reccomend something? NorseCraft has a great "rose-bush" texture for Cacti, perfect for gardens.
Secondly, are you making gardens other than the orchard? Like, wheats and reeds and all things botanical, inluding flowers and even pumpkins? I just feel that your palace could do with some life from it's desert area.
Nah man, I mine it the hard(?) way. Less fuss.
Gardens are gonna be bigger and more diverse for sure. Thanks for the tip on the rose bushes!
I'm building this base to look manly and eventually, when I finish it, it will be very Romanesque.
There are still two floors to do, a secondary fortification, and a huge amount of rooms to be dug underneath.
This was dug out of a mountain.
Dude, you totally need to come play on my server right this instant.
Doing a lot of work on the Ovus de Vulva.
Built mahself a bed, up on the second floor, plus one in my "Lair".
Finally finished my "Lair", so I finally have a nicely organized storage center, which also means I now have a legitimate "base". Holy **** did it take a long time to gather and line all that sandstone.
The small box in the right center there is the "dump" box where I just unload stuff to organize later.
And here is my Lair staircase entrance with boxes all around in the back for dirt and gravel.
It's been a while since i played minecraft, so I decided to work on the mayor's mansion in my Citadel.
Texture Pack is Dante's Albion. Sorry, too lazy to wait till daytime. :tongue.gif:
This is not complete, most notably I do not know what the hell to do with the roof. Also the interior is only barely done, still have quite a bit to add. The outside will also have a bit more added to it.

I just finished this up. The animals on my roof and porch seem to like it too.
wow just wow could we get a tour video up on youtube please?
Whaat? Really?
Wow that looks really really nice.
Now for my house! Inspired by the Adventures Schrauben. Didn't copy the full house though. Made some modifications.
[I know, I know, Interior shots are stupid. But I just love my chairs.]
I love the interior! It suits the style of the home very well. Also, I love your chairs too. (:
I wouldn't even know where to start with a video, lol. Moar pics of that house-
I haven't decorated/set up the inside quite yet, lol.
Underneath the porch, library and bedroom.
Hanging pool and two more rooms, purpose not yet decided.
Main room/workshop area.
Main room, other side. Beyond that wall is my pet zombie's room, and stairs to the lower level.

EDIT: It isn't quite aesthetically pleasing yet.
Mori-Tarnabysala and Mori-Tarnabysel.
I just Mori-Tarnabysala today, it was an enjoyable and rewarding build, much like my "Monastery" Malatusel.

Pool-in-the-sky construction: (cobble was for me to stand on)
And finally, a pool on a glass scaffolding.
The water coming down from the pool is because yes, there is a hole in it, and it makes for an easy way down.
