Watched the video and thought it was pretty cool looking. Unfortunately, I don't use a screensaver, seeing as how I haven't owned a CRT monitor in years. =(

I haven't owned a CRT monitor in years. These days Screensavers are just really for "fun" (Even when LCD's were not common it was still for "Fun" as CRT's were modified to have more shielding so that the particles had a very low chance of burning into the screen). Basically they are something to look at when you come back from another room and your computer has been sitting there for several minutes doing nothing.
So.... how did you exactly make it? C#? XNA? Visual Studio?
Its made in Delphi. Delphi is equivalent to C++ (As in everything you can make in C++ you can make in Delphi). The screensaver uses OpenGL for rendering(XNA uses Direct X).
Fun fact: C#'s main designer(Anders Hejlsberg) was one of the people who developed Delphi.
Uh..Sorry if I'm bugging you, but try this software?
I haven't tried it, since I'm already on a mac, and I actually attempted to install Wine (Running Windows Programs on Mac)
I dunno, maybe a free trial should be good :happy.gif:
@Wolfieoh: If your talking to me then that bit of software doesn't get around the problem of not owning a Mac. I only own a PC and i am not going to spent money on a Mac when i already have a PC.
In general things like Wine may allow you to run the screensaver but they proberly won't allow you to set it up as your computers screensaver(Its that case with Linux anyway). Id imagine that Virtual OS things would allow you to set it up as your screensaver but you would only see it in the Virtual OS App's Window.
@EskimoJoe492: I can not personally make one as i have XP and not Windows 7. Id imagine that someone has already made a Minecraft Windows 7 Theme.

Lol I was just suggesting? Anyways, I said something about free-trial, didn't I?
Oh and I'm crap at 'salesman' so don't think I was trying to talk you into it :smile.gif:
P.S : Nice Avy(Avatar)
Maybe one day you could add in falling mobs :ohmy.gif:
Maybe one day you could add in falling mobs :ohmy.gif:
I did make the Minecraft Logo mode use the Zombie Mob instead of a block as a test when i last updated the Screensavers rendering code so that everything thats rendered were based off the same class (Allowing for you to use them as that base class and not have to care if its a block, mob, etc).
I have more, which anyone can use(No Wolf ones though :sad.gif: ):
They are the mob images from MinecraftInfo.Com if your wondering.

So technically its possible.
Wow this is awesome...maybe I could capture a wolf :smile.gif:

I don't own a Mac. I can't create software for a system i can't test that software on.

Please don't shoot down my ideas or anyone else's ideas. It makes me angry, so don't do it.

It currently has that feature. You just need to pick "Random" as the block type in the options and have "Next Random Duration" set to a value above 0.

Got some more recently. I need to get better ones of Blaze and Magma Cube sometime.

Actually, I think the magma cube is GREAT! Recently I've been making a magma cube skin, one like the normal slime skin.
It lacks:
