Before I start this story, I will tell you about how I usually play singleplayer in Minecraft.
When I start a new world, I usually set it to normal difficulty. The only
times I set it to peaceful is when I’m going outside in the night.
Not wanting to be bothered or when I am going spelunking. However, this one fateful day, I was
playing my favorite world. I was about to go explore a cool cave I found
and went to the menu to set the difficulty to peaceful, but it wouldn’t
change. I kept clicking on it but then it's fixated to hard. I got pretty
worried because I never play on hard mode, so I went to Minecraft Wiki
to see if it listed this in the bugs, but it wasn’t there. I thought
that I had discovered a new bug, so I reported it. Surprisingly, I was right. No one had
that bug, and I thought that was really weird, but I kept playing
anyway. Since it would probably be fixed in the next update, I didn't think much of it. I went back to my
house because it was getting late.
Chapter 2: Switching Mobs
The next day, I found a creeper in the middle of the day, and it almost
made me fall over, because it made no sense whatsoever. I thought
maybe that area was bugged, or maybe this was part of my difficulty
glitch. I got my sword, ready to kill it, but it strangely didn’t move. It just
stared at me. I hit it, and it didn’t do anything. I was really
confused. Maybe this was a further extension of my difficulty glitch
too? I surrounded it with glass so I could keep it as a pet, since that would be pretty cool.
The next day, it had been transformed into a zombie!
This was really weird. I had never had this many glitches
before! Or maybe this was a new addition to Minecraft. I looked at the
version history, but it didn’t say anything about this. I looked at the
bugs, too, but I was the only one having these weird bugs. For the next
few days, the mobs kept switching. Eventually, I got tired of hard mode
and the switching monsters, so I continuously tried to set the game to peaceful.
It still wouldn’t work though. I was getting really frustrated. I clicked
it over and over until the difficulty finally changed. Only… It didn’t
switch to peaceful. It said, “Bug.” This was extremely weird because the
game isn’t supposed to say, “Bug” when there is a glitch. I looked in
the lang files in the minecraft.jar but there wasn’t anything about
this.
Chapter 3: Bug
When I exited the menu I was shocked. In the place of the switching mob
was a bloody player-like mob with an entirely white skin except for the
head, which was black. I got scared because somebody probably
hacked my game. I called my brother to come look. He said I has
probably trapped a zombie or a skeleton and changed the skin. I told him
I didn’t and I went to look at the mob skins, but this bloody
human-like monster wasn’t there. When I went back to the game, the…
thing… wasn’t there anymore. I decided to call it a BW because of the
black and white appearance. When I was going back to my house I saw monsters
everywhere. I almost had a heart attack because it was daytime and they
shouldn’t have spawned there, especially when there are light sources inside my house.
But something was weird about the monsters. They were all bloody and so were the peaceful mobs too.
Also, the monsters weren’t attacking me. My brother asked if he could try playing
my weird world. Later, he told me that the difficulty had changed to
“Killer.” I asked how and he said he had killed a creeper, and the
difficulty changed. He also said that it had died in one hit. I went on
my world and he was right. The only thing I noticed that had changed
though was that creepers started exploding randomly.
Chapter 4: Uh-oh
A few days later, I saw something really weird. I saw… Herobrine. Two
creepers were guarding him. But these creepers were weird. They were all
red except for their eyes and mouth, which were still black. One of the
creepers saw me, and started to walk toward me. I got really scared,
because I didn’t know what these “Red Creepers,” as I later called them,
could do. I kept backing up until I hit a wall, and the red creeper
trapped me. I waited for it to explode and kill me, but it didn’t. It
transformed into a mutant! It started growing bigger. Its legs got
longer. It’s eyes turned yellow. It started beating me up and I couldn’t
get away. Eventually, it stopped trying to kill me, and I tried to run
away. I was almost at the forest, where there were much more hiding
places, when I was shot with an arrow. Herobrine must have shot it. When
I respawned in my house, I ran back to where Herobrine was to get my
stuff and maybe try to attack him, but he was gone. All there was was my
stuff.
Chapter 5: The Cave of Death
When I got back to my house, I noticed a sign above the door. It said,
NOW YOU WILL DIE. I got really scared, so I stopped playing for a few
days. When I came back, the difficulty had changed to “Monster.” I
started to explore a bit, to see what had changed, but I couldn’t find
anything. Eventually, I found a strange cave. The entrance of it was
rimmed in gold. I tried to mine the gold, but when I hit it, I started
to get hurt, so I stopped and went in the cave, placing lots of torches.
Eventually, I came to a wall in the cave. There was a sign on it that
said, “Not Yet.” I assumed that I wasn’t supposed to go farther yet, but
that just made it more interesting. I tried to mine the stone that made
up the wall, but I couldn’t. It was impossible to mine. I tried using
TNT but that didn’t work either. I walked back to my house. Maybe it
would work later.
Chapter 6: Exploring the Cave
A few days later, I realized the difficulty had changed to “Blood.” When
mobs died now, they left blood on the block they were standing on. When
hostile mobs died, they left blood on some of the blocks surrounding
the block they were standing on also. Then I noticed something bad. When
I stepped on bloody blocks, I started getting hurt fast. I had about
three seconds before I died. Then, the bloody blocks became more
dangerous. If you just touched one, you would die instantly. The only
way to escape was if you had really powerful armor, and you still had a
very short time to get away. Later, I found a sign outside my house. It
said, “Now you explore the cave.” I went back to the cave and the wall
was gone. I found a giant room. It was about 100x100x20. In the middle
there were diamond blocks. I mined the blocks and found a deep hole. At
the bottom of the hole there was nothing but a sign. The sign said, “You
shouldn’t have come here.” I got scared, but I went back up the ladder
anyway. When I got up, there were three BWs guarding the exit. Two of
them ran toward me while another one ran to a door next to the cave
entrance. They started pushing me toward the door. I tried to hit them,
run away, jump up and down (I don’t really know why I tried this one). I
tried everything, but I couldn’t get away from them. The first BW
opened the door and the other ones pushed me through.
Chapter 7: A New World
When I fell through the door, I landed in a big field. I looked for my
house or the cave, but found nothing. In fact, I didn’t recognize
anything at all! I figured I must have landed in a new world, but how is
that possible? I looked in the menu and, sure enough, there was a new
save slot. I tried going back to my old world, but I couldn’t. Whenever I
tried, the screen said, “You can’t go to this world.” I got sad because
that was an epic world, and now I couldn’t even go on it. Anyway, I
explored the new world. I found that the difficulty was not on blood,
monster, killer, or even bug. Maybe this world wasn’t screwed up like
the last one! I explored, made a house, did all the regular things.
Eventually, my world was almost as good as the last one. But one day,
the difficulty had changed to bug again. Darn it! The game started
getting creepier, just like the last world, as the blood increased.
Chapter 8: Ghost
Once, when I was exploring, I saw a line of blocks. These blocks were
weird. They were like ore blocks, except they were green. I assumed they
were emerald or something. I realized it was moving. I tried to get
away from it, but I couldn’t. I tried everything, but it didn’t work.
Eventually I tried jumping on top of it. For a few seconds it just
looked around, like it was looking for me. But then it realized that I
was on top of it, so it curled around me and crushed me. I died. Instead
of the regular death menu, I saw a transparent being emerging from my
dead player. I assumed it was my ghost. I was right. When I respawned, I
was no longer a player. I was the ghost that had just emerged from my
dead player. I saw the emerald snake, which is what I called the line of
living emerald blocks, and it almost gave me a heart attack. I ran away
as fast as I could, but the emerald snake didn’t attack me. It just
looked at me. I watched it to make sure it wouldn’t launch a surprise
attack. After a few minutes of the staring contest, it slithered away. I
wanted to follow it, but it disappeared behind a mountain and I
couldn’t find it anywhere. I walked back to my house, but I couldn’t
open the door. I just walked through it. Then I got a great idea. I went
to the save files for my world and looked at the players, but nope. It
was just me. Later, I went back to the dead player to see if it had
disappeared. When I saw it, it was moving.
Chapter 9: Zombie
I was really freaked out now. Dead players are supposed to disappear,
not turn into zombies! But this wasn’t exactly a zombie. Its eyes were
red and it had blood all over it. Now I was even more scared because I
had a custom skin, not the regular Steve skin. That meant the hacker was
continually hacking me, not just messed up my file and left it like
that. At first the zombie just stood there. I was afraid it would see
me, but it didn’t. Soon it started walking toward a hill. When it got to
the hill it just stood there for a few seconds, but then a slot opened
in the hill. Behind the slot was an emerald snake. It looked like the
zombie and the snake were talking for a few seconds, then an entrance
opened up in the side of the hill. The zombie walked in and the door
closed. I walked up to the hill, waited, and the slot opened again. Then
the emerald snake started talking. Not just through the chat, like,
actually talking.
“What’s the password?” It asked me.
“Uh… Herobrine?” I asked.
“Nope.”
This was really weird. It could actually hear me!
“Emerald? Snake? Bug? Monster? Zombie? Ghost?” I was just guessing now.
“No. Go away.”
The slot closed. I stood there for a few minutes, to see if it would
open again, but it didn’t. The next day, I decided to try and spy on the
“ex-player,” which is what I called the zombie. I went to the hill
where the emerald snake was yesterday, and waited for the ex-player. I
waited and waited, and just when I was about to give up and go home, I
saw him. I hid behind a rock and listened.
“What’s the password?” The emerald snake asked.
“Minecraft-one-two-nine,” He said.
“Come on in.”
The ex-player went in, and when I was sure he was gone, I crept up to the hill. The slot opened.
“What’s the password?” This was a different emerald snake. Phew! He wouldn’t recognize me.
“Minecraft-one-two-nine.”
“Correct. Come in.”
Chapter 10: Marble Halls
I walked into the tunnel. It was made of blocks I had never seen before.
They were white and shiny and smooth. They looked like marble. I passed
lots of interesting doors, with signs above them that read, “Archives,”
“Storage,” and “Magic Items.” I would explore them later. Eventually I
came to the end of the hallway. There were double iron doors with a sign
above them that read, “Great Hall.” I thought it might be dangerous, so
I went to the magic items room to get weapons. I found something cool
called “Destiny Sword.” I ran to the archives to find out about it. I
found a crafting guide and info about the destiny sword. How to craft
the sword was like a regular sword except the ingots were called
“Firenite” and the stick was “Mega Stick.” The information about the
destiny sword read, “This sword is crafted from firenite from fire
fields in the Aether, and a mega stick from a geloblock. It is one of
the only weapons that can defeat an emerald snake.” Woah! I couldn’t
believe I was right about the emerald snake. Its name, I mean. But also…
awesome! This sword was just what I needed! The great hall would
probably be filled with emerald snakes! I wanted to look up what
firenite, the fire fields, the Aether, and geloblocks were, but I
decided to look in the great hall first. I took a book about the Aether,
though, so I could learn about it later. Then I went into the great
hall.
Chapter 11: The Great Hall
When I went into the great hall, I saw emerald snakes everywhere. They
were all sitting in chairs, like they were people. There was a podium at
the front of the great hall, and three people were standing on it. One
of them was my ex-player, one of them was Herobrine. I got really
scared, and considered running away, but I decided to stay, since
Herobrine couldn’t see me that well from so far away, and anyway, he
probably wouldn’t recognize me. One of the people on the podium was
standing on a marble block. The weird thing was, he had a nametag. His
username was “Hack1.” He was a real player, not a mob he created! His
skin was a BW. I sat down in the farthest seat I could find from the
podium. The emerald snake next to me looked at me.
“Hey, who are you?” He asked.
“Oh… I’m… Herobrine’s worker!” I said.
“Oh ok, then.”
I sat there for a while, listening to my ex-player talk about who knows
what. Probably evil plans to mess up my world. But then I noticed
something. I wasn’t a ghost anymore! Turning into a ghost must be only
temporary. Then I noticed something else. The emerald snake next to me
didn’t look very interested in what my ex-player was saying. He looked
almost bored.
“My name’s Troykon. Can I tell you a secret?” He asked me.
“Sure!” I replied.
“Please don’t tell anyone this.”
“Okay, I won’t.”
“Okay… I don’t really like it here with the Three Hackers.”
“The Three Hackers?”
“Somewhat. hack1 and hack2 are. But not sure what exactly Herobrine is.”
“Who’s Hack2?”
“The guy beside Hack1. I think they’re cruel and mean. I would rather build awesome structures than mess up worlds.”
“Then why don’t you just quit?”
“Well, i am an emerald snake...”
So at least one of the emerald snakes was good. Maybe he could help me! Then Hack1 started talking.
“After we have messed up this world, we will get to work on his
brother’s world! Then, slowly, we will mess up every single Minecraft
world, and everyone will quit playing Minecraft forever!
Hahahahahahaha!!”
I gasped.
“Hey you! Gasper! What are you gasping for?” An emerald snake asked me.
“Oh, I’m just gasping at uh... how evil and cunning the plan sounds!” I replied.
“Okay then...”
“C’mon Troykon! Let’s get out of here!” I whispered to Troykon.
“What?! I can’t do that!” Troykon said.
“C’mon! You said you didn’t like it here!”
“Fine...”
“Hey, you!” Hack2 yelled. He had noticed me!
“RUN!!!” I screamed.
Chapter 12: The Aether
We ran out of the great hall and into a random door, with tons of
emerald snakes on our tails. By chance, the door was a portal to the
Aether. We ran into the portal.
“Wow, this place is cool,” I said.
“Run!!! We don’t have time to marvel at how pretty the Aether is!” Troykon yelled.
We were about fifty blocks away when we saw Hack1 coming out
of the portal. We ran even faster. By luck, a pack of aerslimes got in
the way of him and his army.
“You stupid aerslimes! Get out of the way!” Hack1 yelled.
“Let’s go back. They’re not worth our time.” Herobrine suggested.
Hack1 listened. They went back. I started to check my
difficulty, to see if it had changed. The difficulty was “Danger.” Bug,
killer, monster, blood, and now danger! What weird difficulty would
happen next?
“Hey, Troykon, you okay?”
But he wasn’t there. He had been captured!
Chapter 13: Alone Again
I looked around. The Aether didn’t seem like a very safe
place, so I decided to leave. I might come back another time. I waited
until night, then went in the portal and crept out of the marble halls.
When I got back to my house, it was trashed! Ruined! The Three Hackers
must have done this. But then I noticed something very bad. The monsters
were evil again. And they were even more powerful! The creepers didn’t
explode anymore, for some strange reason, so at least that was good. I
still had my destiny sword, so I could fend off the monsters for now,
but not forever. I had to build a safe shelter. Until daytime, I fought
the monsters. When it was day, I got lots of wood and made a house high
in the sky. I was safe there. Then, all the water turned to lava. Even
the oceans. And random blocks were set on fire. I checked the
difficulty, and it said “Fire.” Then the sun started turning dark red.
When it did that, it shot lightning bolts down. Since my house was so
high, it got hit by lightning lots of times, so I covered it with stone,
and I made sure not to go on top of high places when the sun turned
red. Then I discovered something cool. If I right clicked on a creeper
while holding gunpowder, it would become my pet and attack other
monsters. The really good thing was, when a pet creeper attacked another
creeper, it wouldn’t fight back. Soon, I had an army of creepers. Maybe
I could use them to fight the Three Hackers!
Chapter 14: MinecraftMaster
I called my brother and told him everything that just
happened. He was even more freaked out than I was. He told me I should
post this on the Minecraft forums and see if anyone else had been hacked
like this too. I followed his advice, and in a few days, I heard from
someone called “MinecraftMaster.” He said he had seen almost exactly the
same things. We sent messages back and forth for a couple weeks, until I
stopped getting messages from him. I waited, until one day I got
another message. It said, “WE HAVE GOTTEN MINECRAFTMASTER AND NEXT WE
WILL GET YOU.” Now I was extremely freaked out. I think I might have
fainted for a minute because I sort of remember having this dream. It
was about me defeating Hack1 in a battle and then doing the same with
Hack2 and Herobrine. When I woke up, I realized I had to stop Hack1.
Chapter 15: The Three Trials
The next day, when I started up Minecraft, the menu was
different. There were bloody monsters everywhere, the grass was grey and
the sky was red. Also, the “Mine” part of the logo had been blacked out
and replaced with “Death.” Now the logo said Deathcraft. When I went to
play my world, there was a new save file. It was called “The Three
Trials.” I tried to go to my old worlds, but now both of them didn’t
work. I tried to create a new world, but it wouldn’t let me. I went to
the new world, and I was transported to a room made of bedrock. There
wasn’t a door, and I was trapped. But then I noticed some signs behind
me. They said, “Welcome to The Three Trials. If you complete them, you
will be allowed to battle ME, Hack1 (of course, you’ll never complete
them)! Goodbye and bad luck (right click on the sign that says “Ready”
when you are ready)!” I right clicked on the sign, and two blocks of
bedrock disappeared, making an exit. I went through the hole, and there
was another sign that said, “Trial 1: Lava Falls.”
Chapter 16: Lava Falls
I looked around, but I didn’t see anything. But then I looked up. Very
very high up was lava. It was slowly falling, but I figured I would have
about a day before the lava reached me. This would be hard, and I had
to build fast. Since wood burns (obviously), I couldn’t use it for
building a shelter. I had to use stone, but that would take longer to
mine. Another problem was that I was on a completely flat landscape
(which wouldn’t have any stone above ground), and there weren’t many
trees. In fact, I only saw one tree. I ran up to it, and there was a
sign on it. It read, “The Tree of Life.” I guessed it was called that
because without it, I would die. I chopped down the tree, and mined some
stone. It actually wasn’t as hard as I thought. In ten minutes, right
when the lava reached me, I finished my shelter. Then the screen turned
black.
Chapter 17: Herobrine
When Minecraft appeared again, I had teleported to another bedrock room.
The sign said, “ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE.” Then I noticed a hole in the
bedrock. I looked through it and saw Herobrine killing Hack1 and
Hack2!!!
Then he yelled: “Fools! Think they can have my share of immense power! ....Wait... I know that presence...”
He turned around and saw me. Somehow, the bedrock disappeared. He walked up
to me and I tried to hit him, but the screen filled with static. Then
the game crashed. It showed a screen filled with pixelated skulls. There
was a message in red text in the center of the screen. It said
“THIs iNSt rIGht” After that, whenever I tried to play on
Minecraft, it showed the same screen and message. A few days later, it
worked again. But the textures were really creepy. I went to the texture
pack menu, but there was only the default. I tried to change the
textures, but I just couldn’t. I eventually stopped trying to change the
textures, and went back to Minecraft. This time, instead of the loading
screen, I saw Herobrine’s face with red, bloody eyes. A static formed and i was somehow teleported from my PC to the game.
Chapter 18: Zombie Apocalypse
When the game loaded, I was teleported to a very mountainous
place. I saw numbers filling the screen. They started at ten, and
counted down. When they hit zero, zombies appeared everywhere. They had
creepy textures too. They had blood on them!
I ran to the tallest mountain I could see. Then I collected
dirt as fast as I could, and made a barrier so the zombies couldn’t get
me. I waited there for about ten minutes, and then the screen went black
again. I then teleported to another room. This room was made of a
strange block. It was like crystal. A sign in front of me said “LAST
TRIAL: HEROBRINE.”
Chapter 19: Flight
I saw another sign. It said, “Look in your menu.” I did. The
difficulty was now “HEROBRINE.” Then I started falling through nothing.
I saw pictures all around me. They were of my previous worlds, starting
with that frozen zombie I saw when it all started, a couple months ago,
and later they became more recent. But the weird thing was, the
pictures were from the player’s view. And I hadn’t taken them!
Then I fell into the void. I fell and fell, but the weird
thing was I wasn’t losing health. Eventually, I fell into a dungeon. It
didn’t have a mob spawner in it. I saw a lever instead of the mob
spawner. I pressed it, and I was teleported up to the surface of the
world. But this world was my first world! Not the trials world, not the
world I came into after being pushed through the hole into the void, my
first world! It wasn’t even on a weird difficulty! Soon, it set back to
HEROBRINE, though. Then my player started moving extremely fast, and he
was flying. After a few minutes, he reached the far lands. Then he
passed the far lands and came into nothing. Then I saw a huge bedrock
wall, millions of blocks after the far lands disappeared. I smashed into
it.
Chapter 20: The Last Chapter
I broke through the bedrock, and it went flying everywhere,
which is something you can only do in 1.9+, but this occured in 1.6.
I slammed into a portal, and was transported to a completely flat landscape.
The ground was made of obsidian, and the sky was dark red, like the nether.
I saw a dark cloud approaching. There was nowhere to hide.
The cloud shot down lightning, and Herobrine appeared.
He ran up to me, and hit me. I lost a lot of health. I saw a chest in the distance, and I ran toward it.
Herobrine screamed "NO! STOP!" and bursted into flames. I guessed that he didn’t want me to go to it.
When I reached the chest, I found unbelievable armor and a super powerful sword! He said in an angry tone: "This isn't supposed to happen..."
Herobrine fought harder than ever, but his attacks are like Golden Sword striking an enderdragon. I blasted him with a powerful shot, as he tore apart like a mirror shattering. He says: "Oh, I see how it is then." and exploded into a million peices, breaking all my armor except the chestplate, and also destroying my sword. As much as I loved those items, I guess it wasn't meant to be kept to someone.
Then the world started shaking. All the obsidian turned to TNT. It exploded, breaking my chestplate but in return revealed a secret hideout where
Troykon and MinecraftMaster were! I couldn’t believe it! They were
alive! Then the world finally did what I wanted it to do, it got deleted. My second hacked
world was sadly deleted too however. I tried to go on my first world, and it worked!
It wasn’t hacked anymore either! Also, I saw Troykon and MinecraftMaster
in my house. We could communicate using chat. Later, MinecraftMaster
left, after telling me he would come on again tomorrow. Troykon stayed
though. We could also communicate with chat, which was weird. He was
also like my pet now. I looked in the code, but there wasn’t any code
for him. I felt happy, knowing i did something that greatly impacted Minecraft in a good way.

Curse PremiumHello! This is a reworked version of an old, unpopular yet good creepypasta. It feels creepy at first, but over time, it seems more like an adventure.
Presenting, reworked version for the base story of the "eye" by SammySpore. Here is a link to the original: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/show-your-creation/fan-art/literature/2302309-old-minecraft-creepypasta
Chapter 1: How it Started
THE END.
Very nice

Very nice, this actually tells a story instead to trying just to be scary. Also, I know I'm advertising, but can you do me a favor on this thread. http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/show-your-creation/fan-art/literature/2736123-character-origin-story
