we stood there in the crowded square
"do you think it will work"
"which did you choose "
"i hope he didnt choose the same as me"
"why are we being move from the main world"
I slung my diamond pickaxe onto my back. the EUL- End Uprising League- had been trying to take over the world for ages yet the leaders of our society hadn't done anything until one of them got taken. then we were all to suddenly be evacuated into these 'other worlds' they were calling it the split.
i had chosen Skyland. it sounded like a good experience. i would live on a tiny island in the middle of the air. nostalgia, away from the city. living solo.
happiness. finally.
i heard a note block go off. people jumped into there chosen portals and the crowd thinned.
they called out names.
my turn. i walked up to the portal, my palms sweaty, my mouth dry. the upside down guy took my ticket and i jumped. i felt the swoosh of air. then i felt as if i was going to the nether sick to my stomach.
darkness. i had fainted.
chapter 1 - the skylands
"Steve has completed the Builder challenge."
the announcement woke me up. i groaned. i was in bed. there was a fain 'pop' and a iron pickaxe, 5 dirt blocks and a sponge block appeared in my inventory.
what happened to my diamond gear?
"Alex has completed the Builder challenge."
a girl sat in the bed next to me.
the bed next to me? i thought this would be solo?
"wha- wheres my enchanted stuff. oh.'
she looked as shocked as i felt.
"I'm Steve."
"Alex" she nodded.
this must of been the Alex who completed the 'builder challenge'
at least she was a girl. that was something.
we explored the house. there was some storage in an attic, a balcony, a bedroom, another room, a corridor with lots more storage, a staircase. a kitchen, lots more storage, a door, a hidden sign saying "good luck. based of the popular mini game skyblock. -J"
"hey steve, theres an enderchest."
i ran to her and tried to lift it. i failed.
she lifted it with ease. i stuffed my things in. she then put hers in neatly and straightened my stuff out. she was only holding it with one hand.
"hey, I'm going outside, look round?"
"sure. i need some stuff, you probably do to" she sighed, as if she was holding the weight of the world on here shoulders.
there was a campfire with 2 benches. i saw a theme.
"there was always meant to be two people"
'sure there was" said Alex giving me a look. "don't you read the terms and conditions, or the small print"
"no, no one does"
"i do" she said.
"you have been given kit Normal."
i found myself suddenly wearing iron armor, holding a set of iron tools and 6 steak.
it wasn't what i had expected. at all.
chapter 2 the grids.
Ow.
this was the second time id fallen.
"you ok"
"yeah josh. I'm fine"
"don't call me josh kate!"
"just help me up, please."
'ok"
he grunted as he pulled me up.
we started sprinting. no where to go. no one in sight.
"shoulda chosen Skylands"
"as always your captain obvious"
"whazat mean?"
"you stated something obvious joshua"
my brother gave me a look.
"ha ha."
"its not funny. seriously."

like many users of the minecraft forums i'm a member of the server total war (IP:167.114.100.168:438) the server includes a 1:1500 scale map of earth.
those of you wondering why i don't have an active RP (so far none). i try. but whenever i get to the rules section of it my computer restarts. computer: i realise what your telling me and i give up.
