Ok, First of All, This is a real seed, no download, no world edit, no nothing at all. Its a glitch that happens because of Pseudo-Randomness. You see, in programming, there is no random. For the human brain, its pretty much close enough. But because no minecraft world can be truly "Random", a glitch happens where the underground repeats itself infinity (Pseudo-Infinity). You can get this world be entering this seed: 107038380838084.
Third of all, this is a documentation of my adventures. Its real.
Fourth, feel free to document you adventures in the comments!
And finally, the rules if you want to follow the challenge (Hereby Called The Minelocke):
You obviously must stay in survival.
You have only 3 lives. If you Run Out, Challenge Over.
Stay Underground.
You must immediately go underground without any supplies, and block the way of. Spectator mode is recommended.
Optional Rules(Stars on The Rules I'm Using):
You must remain nomadic. (No Homes.)
No crafting armor
No Mob Farms*
No Breaking Mob Spawners
No Diamond Armor/Tools
MERCY RULE: /gamerule doMobSpawning false (makes mobs only spawn in dungeons. Makes it less challenging, but also kind of interesting. The only way to get TNT is from dungeon chest. No Eyes of Ender.*
No Ender Pearls
No Nether Portals
No Enchanting
No Brewing
No Enchanted golden apples*
No Leaving the Mineshaft
No Leaving the caves.
Remember, The Only required rules are the ones the Make the Challenge Possible. However, it will be more fun if you choose at least two of the above. I tried to keep it simple, only choosing one major rule. Remember, you can modify almost anything to fit your needs. Start with a few select items, One Life Only, Survival Island, Ect., Ect.
Chapter 1:
I had spawned in a tree. I had just created a new world titled "The Endless Mine Shaft!". The seed was 107038380838084.First thing I did was /gamemode spectator. The world was odd looking. It was the same caves and mineshaft endlessly repeating..... Above, it might make a cool survival island. But that was not the challenge. I put myself at high up dead end in the mineshaft. As you might imagine, monsters would spawn like crazy. But I had MobSpawning of. First, I chopped the nearest mineshaft wood. I found a Minecart chest with some melon seeds an coal in it. I continued mining till i could craft a pickaxe, axe, crafting table, and torches. I kept exploring, looting, wood mining, and repeating the process till i had iron tools. All of a sudden, i fell into a hole. I thought i would fall all the way down to the caves, but landing in the lower mineshafts. For a long time, i just lighted areas and explored. I suddenly heard the sound of Skeletons......... I ran down the Mineshaft till I found the dungeon, placing 5 torches in my panic. I was left with half my health gone. But i was rewarded with enchanted books, name tags, and a music disc. Looting two more spider dungeons gave me a total of 3 music discs, two name tags, all horse armors, mossy stones, and a saddle. I decided it was high time for me to enter the caves, and using mossy cobblestone made a path down. I was thinking, tough, about how the dungeons had not duplicated. Entering the caves, I thought: If i was not playing a Minelocke, i would want to leave a trail of torches. However, it doesn't matter because I can find the same pathway somewhere else, and since in cave is Pseudo-Infinite, it could take forever to get back. I searched and searched, and i found a diamonds vein in a small room, hanging above lava. I made my way to it, but as i mined it, I thought: Could I find this place again? Mine the same vein again and again? It would not matter if the diamond fell into the lava, because I could just go and get the next one. I saw a passage in the side of the room. I went through it, mined i small opening to get past the lava, and saw the same room. It had the same shape, but granite in it. And where the diamond was was stone. The places of ores where different. I continued going through the same passage, only taking a break when i saw diamonds. In some rooms, the chamber was party flooded. In some, gravel was piled up. In some, I found diamonds. Eventually I was done. Not wanting to go backwards, I thought i would find a new way up. So I entered the long, somewhat circular main chamber and began to look. But I could not find a way back. I became horribly lost, and it toke me roughly an hour to find my way back, and i had already been through that section of mineshaft. I guess i got i little bit careless. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE HOW EASY IT IS TO GET LOST IN CAVES! I eventually figured i would make a home, somewhere in a mineshaft the had a good passage to the caves.I choose one, and left the game.
