NOTE: This story is purely fictional and any part of it, regardless whether it seems realistic or not. Herobrine is officially confirmed by Mojang NOT to be real. This post does not encourage Herobrine in any way. This post is just a fictional fan-made story.
I was just gathering some wood for my survival world, where I planned to build a mansion, and was happy to have two stacks of wood logs in my inventory. I went away to find a good place to build my house. While I was sprinting, I saw this blue thing that seemed like a zombie. I was confused since zombies can only live at night and this was my first day. I just ignored this and went off again, this time looking at a Steve-like character that had white eyes approximately twenty blocks away. At first, I thought this was my brother, since he is looking for and changing skins all the time. But then I noticed I didn’t start a LAN world. I just stood there and stared. He soon disappeared. I immediately closed Minecraft and went to check on the Internet if anyone had encountered this before. I realized that this was not something new. I decided to report it to Mojang as a bug, however they stated that it’s called “Herobrine” and it is not a true entity, just a fan-made story. I decided to ignore Mojang as I saw it with my own eyes. I went back into Minecraft and fired up my world, this time seeing this so-called “Herobrine” literally just in front of me. Just as I was about to move the mouse, he started attacked me so much that I died, and so I lost my items and house. I decided to run off again, aiming for a fresh start without anything that I saw with my own eyes and Mojang claimed it was not true. Once again, I saw that creature again. I reinstalled Minecraft and created another new world in hope of a big mansion being built. I was happy to see that he wasn’t around anywhere. I was sprinting again, mining some tree wood. I collected quite a lot, and built my house, bigger and better than my old one. I opened the door, and, well, this weird entity spawned (or just came in?) again. I was furious since I just wanted to have some ol’ Minecraft fun. I tried attacking it several times, but he dealt more than three times the damage I dealt him. I don’t even know if he took any damage, as the player getting hurt sound was being played, and no animation. I don’t even think he was getting hurt. Seeing this, I confirmed it to be a bug. I once again tried to contact Mojang, this time through Twitter, but they once again stated that Herobrine is not true. I decided to do some more research on this, and unbelievably found out that Herobrine is Notch’s (creator of Minecraft) brother. I was not happy with Mojang seeing they lied to me. I spread the word in as many ways I could. I fired Minecraft up a few months later, with the news page stating “Removed Herobrine”. I was very happy to see this. I fired up my world and, well, saw him again. He suddenly started attacking me, and unexpectedly left me with half a heart left. I was surprised to see that Mojang lied once again.
Good Ending:
I was able to record, and was live streaming when I saw Herobrine.. Mojang staff member Jeb noted this and investigated it. I waited nearly six months without playing Minecraft, doing things like watching animal videos on YouTube and soon found out, after so much arguing, that Herobrine is actually a bug. Mojang apologized for the inconvience and in about a month, Mojang fixed the bug and everything related to Herobrine was soon stopped, but theories still remain today. How did Herobrine get implemented into the game? Is he a surprise entity? Is he a bug related to the player itself? All I knew is that everything was done, and soon made my mansion. I shared it on YouTube, and got tons of likes and comments, mostly good ones.
Bad Ending:
I reported this to Mojang several more times, which resulted in my Minecraft account being banned. I was furious at Mojang and signed up for several more social sites such as Instagram, Planet Minecraft and many more and spread the word again. Some replied saying this was true, some saying it was just a pure piece of scam. I angrily replied to the people with hate, and some social sites banned me, I decided to just leave Minecraft and never even think about it. I started playing other games such as CS:GO, Team Fortress 2, Halo 4, Roblox etc but there was this really popular gaming site, or forum which I loved. I had more than three thousand posts there, and was banned from there for “Scamming in Minecraft”. I was truly disappointed, and never played a single video game again. I moved on to other things like web development but did not succeed. I continued with my ordinary life, and you know how life goes…….
I made this story in my free time, thank you so much for reading and remember...Herobrine isn't real!
