First of all, if you had taken the time to read this two-page-long thread, you would know that Rainbow_Girl doesn't have a keyboard. She wrote the entire story on a mobile device. Do you have any idea how hard it is to copy and paste things on a mobile device? There is no Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V on a mobile device. If you want to copy and paste things on a mobile device, you have to hold your thumb down on the touchscreen, then manually drag the cursors to the beginning and end of the selection, while hoping that the automatic scrolling doesn't troll you forever.
I even recently discovered that copying and pasting on my Android device is entirely broken in the Minecraft Forum's rich text editor. The only way around it is to make the mobile web browser request a desktop site and select the BBCode editor. But using that editor properly requires knowledge of BBCode, which is not exactly trivial to learn if one doesn't know HTML, which in turn is very difficult to learn if one is confined to the mobile app ecosystem.
I do wonder whether fanfiction.net has a more mobile-friendly editor than the Minecraft Forum. I've only used it on my computer so I wouldn't know.
Old-fashioned pencil and paper is always an option.
Second of all, who gives a creeper if the story is on Amazon? All that matters is that people can enjoy the story. I agree with Rainbow_Girl that Amazon is best reserved for finished stories, but I also think that Rainbow_Girl should not let temporary technical problems discourage her in the long run. Even if one is a minor, there's no harm in asking one's parents to publish the story on their behalf.

Hear me out. People like this book. You couldn't continue, so I'm trying to continue the story by starting over. New characters, new places. Win-win.
While it's good that you like the book, I don't think it's permissible to just grab someone's story and run off with it without their permission, especially when they are as adamant as Rainbow that their story shouldn't be continued. It's not necessarily a legal thing, but more of a matter of respecting the other author. Rainbow wants her story to be let go of, and we should honour that. You should have gotten her permission before you did the reboot.
