(This is a story that I wrote to distribute on my favorite server. I have decided to post this here to get both constructive criticism and ideas. Each "Part" is another book on the server.)
Part 1
Emmareld69 looked around her in awe at the beautiful building she was standing in. Constructed of blocks of quartz, coal blocks, and stone, the building was majestic.
As she looked around her, she saw ten stained clay pillars, each a different color. She walked up to the green one (her favorite color), and saw that it spoke of the founding of SMP5, whatever that was. She saw that it was founded on February 1st, 2012.
She turned back and walked back up to where she had spawned in at, and began to walk down the path, through the quartz archways. She read the words hanging in the air, speaking of the Empire that she had just come to.
"A Vanilla Style Town/Survival Server", she read. "The Empire is made up of 10 different SMPs that all join to create One Awesome Community!"
"A community of players, working together", she thought, "What a wonderful idea!" She continued to read and walk along the path.
"Empire Minecraft is a Family Friendly server that is nearly all custom coded by an experienced developer team. Your experience will truly be unique."
"An experienced developer team? This server must never lag or have issues, if they are all professionals!"
(Little did she know of #Chinbrokeit or 'Aikar-time')
Emmareld69 continued to walk forward, and came up to 3 stone pressure plates, and the words:
>>>Start the Tutorial<<<
"Tutorial? What did I just spend the last 5 minutes doing?" She wondered. "What else could there be to go over? Its just Minecraft... Right?"
Part 2
Emmareld69 started the tutorial, and was faced with a room full of rules for the server. She dutifully read the signs, and continued on her way.
As she progressed through the tutorial, she had to answer questions about the rules of the server. The answers always seemed to be “No”, so she was losing interest fast.
However, she finally came to a large room that spoke of an area called the Frontier. This room was large and open, and had a nice stone brick walk way to follow.
She followed the path, reading signs along the way. Until she came up to the section that talked about the special mobs on EMC.
“EMC is unique and has many custom mobs that you may encounter. See some examples in the areas ahead.” After the signs that said this were some glass displays.
Each display had a special type of mob inside. The first was Enraged Mobs, which looked like normal mobs, just on fire. The sign said they were stronger than regular mobs though.
Next was an Enraged and armored Skeleton riding a bat. This one looked difficult to Emmareld69, because she had never faced a flying skeleton before.
Last was the Momentus, a giant zombie with a helmet and armor! She looked in awe at this monster before her, amazed that someone would even want to attack something that big.
She quickly finished the rest of the tutorial, excited to get started on this new server she had found.
Before she knew it, she spawned in the middle of a large blank plot, covered in armor and some enchanted iron tools in her inventory.
Her only thought was, “What should I do first?”
