Well that’s the trick of it: I didn’t say this was a story for everyone, I said this was a story for you. If you were the trusting sort, I’d invite you to allow me the benefit of the doubt and read onwards. Contrariwise, if you were a cynic I’d extend the same invitation: read on with the intent to prove that this story wasn’t for you after all and relish in a touch of well-earned smugness.
