Our tale begins millions of years before us. There was 2 races of humans, constantly at war with each other. The Pigmen, and Testificates. The Pigmen were a savage group of murderers, and the Testificates were an intelligent, yet peaceful species. For a while, the Testificates lived in fear of the pPigmen. It made sense though, the Pigmen were bloodthirsty and looking to destroy the Testificates. They slaughtered Testificates and destroyed their villages. However one day, in the Testificates research to progress their species, they discovered inter-dimensional travel.
Originally there was 2 dimensions, polar opposites of each other. The Nether and the Sky dimension. This was knowledge the Testificates were using. They started to think that they could use this to defeat the pigmen. They also kept the portals open all the time to allow for easy transportation. However, there was something they didn't know. The Nether was full of radioactive material, and by keeping the Nether portals open, they were leaking radiation into the world.
One day, a group of testificates came up with a plan to destroy the Pigmen. They were going to ally with the Ender People of the Sky dimension and force the pigmen to the Nether where they would be forced to live there forever. They went to the strongholds and an agreement was arranged. The Ender People would assist the Testificates and teach their ways of enchantment and potions, in return the Testifactes would teach the Ender People their knowledge and peaceful ways. The plan was set.
Around one million years before Steve woke up in this land, the Testifacte and Ender people army stormed the Pigmen bases and forced them through their Nether Portals, once everyone was in. They closed the Nether Portals forever. However, the radiation levels in both the Overworld and Sky Dimensions were extreme. The Testificates underwent extreme changes due to this, but mainly losing intelligence. Eventually, the Testificate Empire was destroyed, the ancient knowledge passed down in legend through their people, the radiation causes many new species such as Creepers, re-animated corpses, toughned spiders, and many other species to be created.
The Sky Dimension also feels the hit, the ancient Ender People mutate into the Endermen, the ancient flying creatures go all but extinct, with one mutated one remaining, the Ender Dragon. The lush green fields of the Sky dimension are destroyed, and the hard rock underneath is all that remains. This new Sky Dimension is now called, the End. It wouldn't bee another one million years until the land was discovered by a new intelligent species.
No one know how he appeared. Not even he knows, all he knew was his name was Steve and he a strange urge to punch the trees next to him. However, ancient legends reveal he was made by the almighty Creator, also referred to as Notch. Eventually, this man learns the ways of this world, and himself discovers the lost knowledge of inter-dimensional travel, as he discovers how to build a Nether Portal.
He travels into this world. Steve however, isn't affected by the radiation. No one is sure how, but he has immunity to radiation. He discovers the ancient fortresses built by the Pigmen. Now full of their zombies, skeletons, and strange creatures he calls Blazes. The Zombie Pigmen are no longer extremely violent, as the radiation and intense heat from the lava and fires burned their eyeballs. They only way they'll attack is if they've been provoked, because that's the only way they know you're there. However, they still long to escape, that's why you can find Zombie Pigmen near and overworld Nether Portal
He also discovers the remains of the once mighty Testificates, now forced to living in villages. It's hear where he learns about enchanting and the legends of the Sky Dimension. He becomes friends with the Testificates and trades with them for enchated weapons. He later unlocks the powers of enchanting himself and after months, if not years of searching he makes it to the End and has a legendary fight with the Ender Dragon. He proves victorious!
Steve, now the conqueror of 3 dimensions goes around 4 years go by, until he makes a new dicovery. The Ancient End Cities, at least what's left of them. The remains usually include a building and an ancient floating air shape the Ender People used for travel. And that my friends, is all we know so far about the history of the Minecraft world.
