A long time ago, there were six spirits, known as guardians, who formed the planet. The Guardian of the Waters, who created the water of the world. The Guardian of the Skies, who created the air of the world. The Guardian of the Land... Yeah, I think you get where I'm going with this. Guardian of the Flames, Guardian of the Light, and Guardian of the Darkness. Anyways, they were really big jerkfaces, and nobody really liked them. So certain creatures, in this case, Shèn, a sea serpent, overthrew the guardians, and the new guardians went into hiding, and their legend was all but forgotten.
