Hello! This is a story I have wanted to write for a while now. I got the inspiration after watching Syndicate and CaptainSparkles playing Mianite. I created a story with the same gods but with different characters and a different story. The story mainly follows the character Dominik who becomes a follower of Ianite. I'll post the first 2 parts in this thread so give them a read. Hope you enjoy!
Part 1: Prolouge: The Creation
In the beginning, there were three all powerful Gods in the world of Minecraft. These Gods were all children of the creator of the Minecraft world, known as Decanite. He had 2 sons and a daughter. The sons he named Mianite and Dianite. His daughter was named Ianite. They all lived in the Overworld alongside the villagers and warriors. When Decanite met his end, his children were to rule the Overworld equally. However, disputes broke out between Mianite and Dianite. Both wanted to rule the Overworld for themselves. This led to the two brothers fighting. A battle that lasted over 14 days, one that Mianite won. After Mianite had one he created a realm, The Nether, and banished him to it. He also bound him to this realm. Dianite, in his anger, cursed the overworld to be haunted by the dead. The creation of the zombies and skeletons. The spiders, though originally creations of Mianite, were corrupted by Dianite's vindictiveness, turning them hostile towards warriors. He also created mobs in his realm, in order to protect himself. The creation of blaise, zombie pigmen, and ghasts. Over time, his anger began to manifest throughout the nether, creating a beast that made all wither in it's wake. It's power also corrupted the skeletons in the Nether, turning them into much fiercer creatures. Mianite's natural forces consists of the warriors of the Minecraft world. Those naturally born from the Overworld. These beings however had free minds. This allowed some to choose to follow Dianite and attempt to bring him up as the ruler of the Minecraft Universe. Even though this is a possibility, many warriors choose to side with Mianite, and keep Dianite locked within the Nether. As for Ianite. She had attempted to bring peace to her brothers. Mianite wasn't willing to conspire unless Dianite had promised to conspire also. Dianite was angered by her proposal and banished her to an empty void, beyond even the Nether. What happened to her is a mystery...even her brothers are clueless as to what happened to her. Eventually she was forgotten by all the mobs, villagers, and warriors. Until Dominik. And that's where our story begins.
Part 2: The Beginning
Dom awoke in his bed. The moonlight radiating from his window and enlighting his room. Restless as always. How couldn't he be. For all he knew Dianite followers could be stalking over to his fort. If Mianite followers were near, things would get even worse. Mianite and Dianite currently aren't at war, but their followers always treat it as if they were. They are capable of having peaceful communication, but if there are devote followers around, it has the chance of ending ugly. The devote followers are almost always fighting each other. If It weren't for the Gods sending warriors to do deeds, such as stealing items from enemy followers, things probably wouldn't be so violent. It doesn't help that war is on the horizon. Everyone can feel it. Dianite has been increasing the amount of hostile mobs in the Overworld and it's been angering Mianite a lot. One of the chief followers of Mianite said that the God was talking about potentially creating an army to go "tame" Dianite. Dom was not enthusiastic about this. Dom was one of the few being living in the Overworld that had pretty much been a neutral party. Dom usually never attacked unless he was provoked and very rarely did deeds for the Gods. Granted he had done a few tasks for Mianite and had served Dianite for a short time, but he really had no interest inserving either of the Gods. He enjoyed a peaceful life. No fighting. No wars. Just peace. Which in this world was genuinely impossible. He decided to rise from his bed after he felt a slight pinge of hunger. He walked over to his chest. Iron set. Stone set. 63 Cobblestone. 43 Sand and some rotted flesh. No food. "Damn" Dom muttered. He knew it wasn't a purge night, the night created to keep peace between the Gods where the warriors are allowed to kill and steal whatever they want and it's all fair game, but it still wouldn't be a good idea to go out now. The Gods could have given deeds to certain warriors which could involve robbing certain materials. But his hunger was telling him to get at least enough food to allow him to return to his slumber for the night. He let out a sigh as he grabbed his iron sword and threw on his iron helmet. It wouldn't be a bad decision to use his full set of armor, but he didn't want to put his good iron to waste. He also wouldn't want it to get robbed, in the scenario that tasks were given. After he put his helmet on, he ventured out into the night to search for food. Dom lived in the grasslands, so he guaranteed there to be some chickens roaming around. After a short while of walking through the fields, he spotted a group of 3 chickens. 'Finally I've found some food.' He approached the chickens, killing them quickly and grabbing their meat. 'Ok, now to get to the furnace and smelt this-,' his thought was cut off. A sight in the distance stopped him in his track. Three warriors were casually walking toward him, eyes locked on to him like a wolf stalking a sheep. "Hey hey!" the lead warrior said."Look what we have here. A late night stroller. And what are you doing out so late at night my friend?"
"I was hungry. And I'm out of food."
"Oh I see. So you were just gathering some grub to tide you over?"
"Pretty much."
"That's cool."
"Yeah. So if you don't mind me, I'm just going to go back to my house."
"Oh you would like to do that wouldn't you."
"It's not a purge."
"Does it matter?"
"I don't think your god would be happy if you killed on a non-purge night."
"Yeah. Lord Dianite wouldn't be pleased."
"Exactly. So you have to let me go."
During this conversation the other 2 warriors slowly began to surround Dom. He looked around to see that he was trapped. The lead warrior chuckled.
"Now who said we have to let you go?"
At this, Dom sprinted away from the lead warrior. The other two reached out for him but he was able to swiftly escape their grasp. He continued to run before he felt the arrow smack off his helmet. It had just enough momentum to push him down to the ground. He began to push himself off the ground when the lead warrior pounced on him. Ripping his helmet off Dom's head and then slamming Dom's head down into the ground. Rendering him unconscious.
He awoke to find that the food he had just gotten and his sword were gone. Stolen. By those three.
"Goddamnit!"
He grabbed his stomach feeling his hunger tear at him. He groaned loudly. Then he immediately quieted himself. He heard another low grumble somewhere near him. He turned his head in it's direction. Fear shot through his body. A few steps away he saw the tall lumbering figure staring back at him. An Enderman. He started cursing at himself in his head. He knew what was about to happen. He knew he had angered the Enderman. They always get angry and become hostile when you look in their eyes. Then he realized the Enderman was not shaking. It was staring back at him with an almost quizzical look in its eye. It cocked its head to the side. After Dom's fear began to subside he realized what was behind the Enderman. The leader of the 3 warriors. Dead. And the Enderman was holding the meat from the chicken that Dom had killed. The Enderman continued to look at Dom with a quizzical look. It then went upright and chucked the meat at Dom. He was able to catch it before it hit the ground. He looked back up to see the Enderman gone. It had disappeared. Dom, confused and scared, took of at a sprint back to his house. He slammed the door shut, ate the chicken raw, and laid in his bed. He fell asleep a short while later.
After he awoke, the events of the night before replayed in his head. It didn't make sense. What was up with that Enderman? Why did it kill the leader? Why? He continued to question before he realized that someone was beating on his door. He groggily got up and went over to the door. He was greeted by Mianite's messenger.
"Gray."
"Dom."
"What do you want?"
"Mianite's chief warrior wishes for you to make an appearance at the temple of Mianite."
"Why?"
"The events of last night."
"He knows?"
"Who doesn't know. Those warriors of Dianite spread the word of how an Enderman came to your rescue to everyone in Dianite's church."
"Oh great. I'm famous. Just what I wanted."
"Sarcasm is unbecomming of you Dom. Make sure you're at Mianite's temple at high noon."
"Ugh. Alright. I'll see what the chief wants."
After that he shut the door, even with the messenger still there. He sighed and put his palm to his head.
"Why did something crazy have to happen to me?"
He knew he was going to be questioned about what happened last night. He wasn't looking forward to it. But it looked like he didn't have a choice.
Thanks for reading! Also. When I add on to this story, would you guys recommend me creating a new thread or adding on to this one. I'm new to this site so I'm a noob as to what I should do. Also constructive criticism is much appreciated.
