This is a story I am in the process of writing, it takes place in my friend's fictional server Neutralcraft. His Forum name is Brotoss707, check him out. I will be posting updates as they are written Now without further adue:
ENTITY 303
My username is Ketosis
I play on a server known as Neutralcraft
you may know me as the powerful command block wizard
or the general in the battle for stockholm
or the one who killed Herobrine
A hero maybe
But I regret that last action
I shouldn’t have killed Herobrine
He saved my life
It was around June, school had just ended. I had just been whitelisted into the coolest server. It was known as neutralcraft and it was a masterpiece. A highly advanced Bukkit coding (with help from mojang themselves) allowed mods, plugins, and vanilla to all work together seamlessly. To an outsider, this may seem like nothing, but anyone who has tried to play on a 3000+ player mod server knows how finicky servers can be. This mythical server defies everything I know about game coding and development. But here I was playing on it.
My friends were throwing a party for me, in celebration of my admission to the server. As a gift, my friend, who goes by the username Jabuscouse, gifted me a diamond sword. I went outside to get a return gift for him when I saw him. On the edge of my vision. He appeared as if he was wearing a steve skin. He approached me. I began to block rapidly with my sword; the universal sign of truce in minecraft. But then I saw, the white eyes, the lack of a nameplate. He opened his mouth as if to say something. I panicked. I shifted my finger from the right mouse button, to the left.
My sword swung down, the head separated cleanly and plopped on the ground. Was it really herobrine, or just a noob wearing the wrong skin. He didn’t have a name plate. Could he have hidden it. Only an admin could do that.
The thought crossed my mind, had I just killed an Admin? I had barely even been on the server, and the last thing I wanted was to get kicked. For some reason the body hadn’t de-spawned so I decided to hide it in my manor after the party was over And that’s why I decapitated you and stuffed you in a glass case full slime balls.” Ketosis added, finishing off his story.
“An apology would be in order,” Herobrine replied.
“It’s w,” Ketosis said hesitantly, “So you’re not going to kill me?”
“No, I’m not going to do that, I got specific orders from Notch to protect you?” Herobrine said
“Since when did you take orders from him?” Ketosis asked.
“He promised to kill me if I did this,” Herobrine said lustfully.
“Steve and I already killed you, three times,” Ketosis stated
“Aaaand Here I am,” Herobrine returned sarcastically.
“I thought you wanted to kill Notch. I lost an awesome set of diamond armor defending him from you.” Ketosis said
“He’s just a player like you; if I kill him he just come back. Killing him is as meaningless as breaking a block, a mere inconvenience. I can’t ever beat him, but he can give me peace, he can delete me,” Herobrine said solemnly.
“Hey, what did you say you were protecting me from?” Ketosis asked.
“Entity 303, you’ve been marked,” Herobrine said
(part 2 and 3)
“Entity 303?,” Ketosis asked.
“There used to be a time when I desired nothing but chaos, to destroy the aspirations of all players. I lead an army of griefers. My powers, to edit the NBT data, brought pain to countless people. I could translate through walls, clear items, level mountains, even edit the whitelist. They say I am a program, perhaps a plugin, even an artificial intelligence. Entity 303 is exactly like me, but I have a conscience, I speak and listen to reason, it does not.” said Herobrine
“So just kill it!” Ketosis said.
“It’s not as easy as it sounds, his coding is buried deep inside minecraft’s engine. A player by the name of “thespeed179” discovered him while playing minecraft on his Xbox. When he attacked, thespeed panicked. Desperate for answers, he plugged a chord into his console to his pc to read the code. That connection allowed Entity 303 to get into the minecraft pc servers. It is everywhere. It’s hidden somewhere in the game engine, under layers of blocks, mobs, and textures. We can’t “kill” it until we can find it.”
“so where are you taking me?” Ketosis asked.
“Stockholm”
“In real life, or the mojang hang-out city on this server”
“The second one”
“How do we get there, it’s nearly 3000 chunks from here?”
“I’ll edit your avatar’s position data.”
“what?”
“I’ll “tp” you”
“oh…”
And with that, both figures disappeared into thin air. Leaving behind an entity, with a white coat, red eyes. Enty 303 dissolved away to follow it’s target.
Well, this looks interesting. Huge fan of the Entity303 story myself. You've gotten it off to a strong and mysterious beginning. Keep the tension. I assume you're involved in the 303 movie Speed's starting up? If not, get on it. I'm now one of the writers on it as well as voicing Notch. It looks like it's going to be great fun.
So far 7/10. Could reach an 8 if it continues this strong.
Hey, it's that guy Keaton mentioned, my computer is broken but I will try to post my stories as soon as I can. Also, they are not regular stories, they are screenplays for when I animate them. And Keaton, cool story bro.
