Introduction: I've decided to write a creation-like Epic about the history of Minecraft. The following story will consist of at least 3 "Kapitel" or Books, the Plan is for "Skapande" , or the Story of Creation which covers the creation of the worlds, and the story of the formation of the universe. This is the shortest of the three books. "Gamla Ar" or the Old Years, chronicling the people and history of the old days, and the fall of The Empire. This is by far the longest of the Books. And "Återfödelse", or The Rebirth, the recent Legends of the formation of the New Tribes, and the dawn of Steve. These terms are written in Swedish, as I thought it was appropriate, as the creators are from Denmark (But Swedish is so much more fun).

Jord Early is before the fall of Fartir
Jord Emp War is for the beginning of War for the Empire
So Here we go:
1. Skapande
1. The Void and Falthrume
Long ago, there was nothing. There existed only darkness. But suddenly, there was someone. Avgud, the lord of Creation stared at the emptiness, and decided to make something of it. And so he created a land, known as Falthrume. Falthrume was a small Island, surrounded by the emptiness. It was a land of barren, cold, white rock. Avgud looked down upon it and decided it was grim. He gazed about, but could not determine what to do with the land. He christened it The Land of Void, and moved on.
2.Jord and the Eldar
Avgud decided are more diverse and plentiful world was needed. Out of the void he cast a new world. The terrain rose and fell, and the world was much larger. Avgud gazed upon it and decided that he would need help. He created 6 beings, whom would be collectively known as the Eldar. Each would bring something to this new world, which he called Jord.
3. The Eldar
The First and oldest Eldar was Vatten, Lord of the Seas. He filled the trenches and low areas of Jord with water, and formed rivers and rains. The second Eldar was Luft, Lord of the Sky. He surrounded Jord in air, and forged the clouds from wisps of energy. He pressed some rock of Falthrume into the Moon, and scattered the dust as the Stars. The world was now bathed in the glow of the Moon. The Third of the Eldar was Kall, Lady of the Cold. She froze the high peaks and the frozen plains. She disliked Luft, and skipped certain lands while he was there, forming the Deserts. The Fourth Eldar was Växt, Lady of Plants. Grass covered the land, and trees and flowers burst from the ground. Melons and Pumpkin vines spiraled upwards, and carrots and potatoes appeared in rare spots. The Fifth Eldar was Djur, Lord of Animals. He spread Sheep, Cattle, Hogs and Fowl across the land. Hounds and Horses, Felines and Fish, even the awkward squid was formed. The Sixth Eldar was Vagga, Lord of Stone. He filled the world with rock, and minerals. He rose the mountains above the dirt, and filled the deserts with sand. The Final Eldar was Död, Lord of Death. Död was jealous of the others for he felt his gift was weak compared to theirs. He cast horrible undeath upon the land. Hideous mushrooms replaced some of Växt's trees, and pools of lava formed in Vagga's caves.
4. The Fall of Död
Avgud was horrified at his Seventh Son's destruction. He formed an third world, Eld, the Land of Fire. He cast Död into Eld, and sealed the world from Jord. Avgud was unable to repair his son's damage, but he contained it, by separating the Mushrooms into islands, and making rock invincible to lava.
5. Living Beings
Avgud called Växt and Djur to him. He sought to create a beings who could tame Jord, and create from the emptiness. He sought their help in this creation. After much work, each presented him with a being. Växt presented a hairy 8-legged beast, along with it's smaller friends. Avgud liked this creature, but it was not smart enough for what he wanted. Djur forged a pig that walked upright, but it too was too dumb. A rift to Eld suddenly appeared. The Pig-folk ran into the portal, and a blob of shadow spat out, and the portal sealed. Djur sobbed at the loss of his children, and forged something foul from the shadow. An enormously tall being, thin and wavery appeared before them. It gathered a block of dirt from the Ground. But Avgud saw the evil in this being, and he opened a gateway to Falthrume, and banished it and its kind there. Finally, the two worked together. A creature of average height, with a large nose and simple robes appeared. It glanced around, shocked at the powerful figures standing before it. The Eldar created several more, and then left them to whatever it was they would do.
6. Falthrume Upheld
Avgud returned to Falthrume to check on the creatures he had banished. He found that they had multiplied, and begun building strange towers of the black rock that also appeared in Falthrume. He forged them pets of darkness. He also called to Djur, who helped him create their king, a Serpent with wings, who would rule the creatures. Then they left Falthrume, and sealed the gateway. None should return, for it was a land of desolation.
Such is the story of Skapande, and how the World was created. Many younger beings of power were created by the Eldar, to aid them in their tasks. The Futhrar were smaller gods, lords of rivers, ladies of trees. Nearly 50 exist. Now, on to the true story. The Story of the People.
2. Gamla Ar
1. The Tribes of Valtor
The group created as the Intelligent species moved off. The arrived in large valley, with a lake nearly 500 meters across in the center, and only one way out via the River Dur. The group began tearing down trees and constructing crude huts. For the next 50 years, the people grew and spread. Soon, there were several small villages around the lake. Each village stayed within its own borders. The people had learned to tame the plants of the wild land, and had captured a few animals. But there was frequent conflict between tribes. Gold was precious, and only a few had access to it. Often, several tribes-people would be killed in a short conflict, and the village would be halved in populace. Finally, in the Village of Nud on the north shore, a leader by the name of Gvor called his people together. The village vanished on a hunting trip. The houses and crops were quickly looted by the neighboring tribes. Nearly a year later, the Nud returned, all with armor made of the hides of cows. Gvor wielded a sword of metal, and a crown of gold. They quickly marched through the villages, the sheer intimidation caused them to surrender, and Gvor united the people into the tribe of Valtor. Over the next hundred years, Valtor grew until it was a small city around the lake, with floating bridges across the middle. Gvor ruled from his fortress at the old village of Nud. He had outlived all the other villagers, and looked nearly the same as he had when he had Conquered.
2. The Other tribes
Similar village-states rose up in other locations around the World, in similar manners. None boasted an non-aging ruler, and few accomplished it as quickly. The tribes of Pon, Fartir, Leogath, and Neldhrume were the other major states. Pon and Leogath remained a single city. But Fartir and Neldhrume spread into empires. The people of Fartir were avid Miners, and founded enormous shafts stretching deep into the earth. The folk of Neldhrume were wary of the other tribes, and built fortresses into the ground, hidden from above. There were many other minor villages, but these were often bypassed, or integrated into the tribes of the great ones. Pon and Leogath expanded also, filling the arctic wastes and the desert respectively.
3. The War for Kalden
It came to be that the village of Kalden was in a location rich in supplies. It bordered a massive rift into the earth, the River Tor, the thin land bridge to an Island of mushrooms, which were excellent for making food, and the field of plenty, a magical plain enchanted by Växt herself, to grow plentiful crops. The people of Fartir were starving, as the mines did not lend themselves to food. The people of Valtor sought new land, and access to the deep earth the rift would grant them. Both nations sought to integrate Kalden into their sphere of influence. War broke out between the two peoples. It was constant, the fighting across the deserts of Fartir, and towards the sealed valley of Valtor, stretched nearly 200 kilometers. Villages went up in flames, and were quickly rebuilt, only to be burned again. The field of plenty gradually became a wasteland, and the rift pillaged of all its metals. The River Tor became filthy with ash, and the land bridge was flooded. It didn't matter to the people anymore, now it was a war of Revenge. The armies of Fartir were better equipped, and were soon pushing the Valtorians back, towards the River Dur, the gateway to their homeland.
4. Svavar
The son of Gvor, Svavar, stood in the Tower of Valtor, the central spire to the keep of the nation. He had spent his days abroad, collecting diamonds from villages. He had forged it into nearly invincible armor, and a blade that could cut solid rock. Gvor was with him, looking over his battle armor. They were preparing for an invasion. In a rippling flash of light, The Eldar Vagga appeared before them. He radiated power, and the men looked away. He said to them, in his deep rumbling tone "Men of Valtor, you are losing your war. Protect your people. I grant Gvor the powers of the Stone, and Svavar the way of Lightning. Protect your people, do not fail me." And then Vagga was gone. Avgud was outraged with Vagga, he did not need the already powerful men to become Futhrar. Vagga countered that they were not Futhrar, they were Hjälte, heroes. Avgud was unhappy, but allowed it.
The two men marched with the remaining army to meet the Faltirans. The stood before them, and then Gvor raised his axe. A boulder flew from the mountain behind him, and smashed a group of Faltiran soldiers. In a boiling rage, the Faltirans charged, slashing down Valtor's sons. The battle broke out, and boulders flew everywhere. A gigantic man, nearly 12 feet in height, wielding 2 heavy maces stood before Svavar. A circle was formed around them, and the fighting halted. Svavar motioned for his father to stay back. The giant rumbled "Such shiny armor, where did you find it Puny One? Perhaps I shall take it when I destroy you." The giant roared, and charged at Svavar. Svavar swung, slicing at the giant, but even his sword barely managed to cut the thick hide armor. The giant bellowed a deep laugh. "Puny One, your mortal blade cannot cut Jätte, Lord of Giants!" Svavar stood back, and pointed his sword at Jätte. The monster continued to laugh, until a bolt of lightning arced out from the end of Svavar's blade and struck him straight in the chest. The giant collapsed dead, smoking. The Valtorians cheered. The Faltirans knelt before Svavar, chanting "Hail the Flashman, Blade of the Valtor." And so Faltir became part of the Empire of Valtor, which was now much larger than all its neighbors.
5. The Spiders of Pon
Many years later, it came to the attention of Gvor that Pon was strangely overflowing with food within its borders. Gvor was unhappy with this, as Pon was very close to Valtor, and it made little sense for them to be so much more wealthy. He sent Svavar to investigate. A short trip up the river brought Svavar to the city of Ponoh, the capital of Pon. He was now widely recognized as Svavar the Flashman, and he was escorted to the palace. He knelt before the king of Pon, and then asked "Lord Trelethor, King of Pon. We wish to know how your kingdom is so well fed." Trelethor contemplated Svavar for a moment. "Svavar, Flashman of Valtor, I will share with you our secret, indeed I will grant Gvor lordship of Pon, if you can solve a problem for me." Svavar raised an eyebrow. "You see, giant Spiders plague our east Border. Gather them together, and destroy them, and the people of Pon will be indebted to those of Valtor."
Svavar set out to destroy the Spiders. It was not far to the east Border. There, he saw the spiders. There were nearly a thousand, brimming to invade. Only a wall of cacti stopped them from entering. The village folk from nearby approached him. They told him the cacti could not be removed, for then the Spiders would enter. Svavar laughed. He struck down a single cactus. The Spiders swarmed the opening. As they tumbled through, they would hurt themselves on the cactus. By the time they arrived at Svavar, he could slay them with a single chop. Soon, all lay dead but a few, which were trapped in a ring of corpses. Svavar raised his sword, and a bolt of lightning smashed into the remaining spiders. He stepped lightly down, setting the ring aflame. And so, Pon too became part of Valtor, and the Empire grew ever mightier, thanks to Svavar.
Subchapter 1. The War For the Empire
It came to the attention of Neldhrume and Leogath that the Valtorians would soon be too strong for either of them. They agreed to join forces and defeat Valtor. The war that ensued was violent and vicious. It was fought from the doorstep of Leogath right up to the mouth of the River Dur. Tragedy and Sadness engulfed all three warring factions, and the death toll rose greatly. Two things brought this war to an end, but that is a story for a later time.
6. The Battle of Plethoran
The Declaration came to Gvor, and he sent the armies forth. They arrived at nearly exactly halfway between the Tower of Valtor and the Palace of Leogath, on the south bank of the River Plethoran. The Naldhrume armies were not present, but the first army of Leogath stood waiting. The third army of Valtor, led by the man Borval, was prepared to fight.
Balvor watched as the armies of Leogath charged his men. He bellowed a roar, and charged back. He swung and chopped with his sword at enemy soldiers, but watched as his comrades fell. "Retreat!" he was forced to roar. The men groaned and ran. Balvor heard laughter from the Leogathites behind him. He gritted his teeth. "Havdor, stay behind and scout, see how long they wait until they follow us." The next few days were brutal, constantly on the run, barely any sleep. They were finally cornered at the turn in the River. The army of Leogath all around them, the river at their back. Bolvar looked to the sky. "Gods have mercy on us, help us in our time of need." he said, though few heard him. But instantly, the river froze over. The men cheered and dashed across. Bolvar roared and followed. Just as he stepped onto the back at the other end, it unfroze, plunging the Leogathites into the deep. Many remained on the other side, and arrows hailed down. Bolvar readied his sword and shield. A thin strip re-froze, and he ordered his men back across. They charged at collided with the Leogathites in the middle. Bolvar sliced down several, until he was confronted with their general, Hans. The two became locked in a deadly battle, parry for parry, slice for slice. Bolvar roared as Hans removed his hand with a swift chop. Collapsed to his knees, Bolvar looked down. Hans laughed. "Fool of Valtor, you cannot defeat the men of Leogath!" he said, with his odd accent. Bolvar looked up, a wicked gleam in his eye, "Aye, maybe not, but I can defeat you." Hans eyes widened as Bolvar leapt forward. He slashed Bolvar across the chest, but not before the icicle plunged into his. Both men tumbled into the River. Both armies retreated, but the men of Valtor knew they had lost.
7. Dalshire and the Delta
Dalshire was a strategic goldmine. It provided access to the Great Delta, was an excellent source of food, and was a wealthy city. They would have to hold it. Both the 2nd and 1st armies of Valtor were stationed there. Svavar and Gvor were both present. the 2nd and 3rd armies of Leogath were marching on the city.
Svavar stared out from his horse at the oncoming horde of men. There were thousands of them. Gvor sat a half kilometer to his right. The men of Leogath were shouting and cheering. The men on the walls waved at Svavar frantically. He shook his head. The enemy closed in, they were only 100 yards from the front line. He raised his sword. Balls of fire roared overhead and crashed into the Leogathites. Cheers erupted from the Valtorians. Gvor roared, "CHARGE!" The men of Valtor collided with their enemy. Svavar rode around on horseback, swinging at his foes. Twice he was nearly dismounted, but the armor he had crafted for his horse save him. But they were fighting a losing battle. They had been pushed back across 2 of the three main rivers of the delta, and the land between the Valthume and the Dur was marshy to say the least. But Gvor came to their aid. He raised his sword, and the ground beneath the Valtorians hardened, but the Leogathites became entrenched in muck.
Svavar was stunned when the Tromps charged up. The hulking shaggy beasts swung their tusks, smashing his men left and right. Svavar suddenly grinned. Those who caught his grin ran in all directions. He cracked his neck, and pointed his sword. Two of the Tromps looked at him quizzically. There was flash, and there stood two smoking piles of ash. The fighting continued, but the Valtorians were forced to cross over the Dur as well. Night fell, and the fighting subsided. The Valtorians rushed into the city, and quickly began fortifying. Svavar sat with Gvor in a house.
"We can't hold them back Father, they're going to smash inside if we don't call for help." Svavar said, pacing.
"I will not ask the Terplings for help, those Turtle people are backstabbing scum." Gvor said, pounding his fist on the table.
"Father, if we don't ask, the Leogathites will." Gvor ignored him.
"The sun is rising, we go to fight."
The gates were pounding with men banging against them. Buckets of fire were poured over the side onto the men of Leogath, but they continued trying to break the gates. Finally, one shattered. The men poured in, and the fighting began inside the city. Svavar and Gvor spotted the enemy Generals, Talkhir and Yeron, climbing a tower to establish as a base. They followed the two. They sat on the turret at the top. Svavar rushed up and decapitated Yeron in a single chop. Talkhir lifted his shield and bashed Svavar away. He watched as Gvor and Talkhir fought. Talkhir used his shield like a blade, swiping at Gvor with the edge. Gvor was backed against the side of the turret. Svavar got to his feet and ran at the man. Talkhir roared as he pushed against Gvor's sword against his shield. He grunted and threw Gvor over the side. Svavar roared in anger. His entire body rippled with lightning, and he smashed into Talkhir, sending him flying with a mighty crash. Legends say he lies embeded in the mountains, nearly 100 kilometers away. The City would fall to the Leogathites, and worse had come, to the People of Valtor.
8. The Great Retreat
The moral losses caused by the death of Gvor wrought horror on the Valtorians. Each day they were backed up the river, forced back by the Leogathites. The Neldhrumans held their border, and the Valtorians could not flee in that direction. An attempt was made to fight off the attack at Ponoh.
Svavar watched from the tower as his men Fortified the city. He had lost both of the Commanders of 1st and 2nd army, and the new Commanders weren't exactly ready for this. Svavar ordered that the gates be burned, and walls of stone erected in their place. They must hold the city. Svavar looked out over the plains ahead. He could see the advancing Leogathites. He grimaced. He drew his blade and held it. "What will we do, oh great ones? How can we stand when we have all died inside." The sword gave a weak crackle of electricity. Suddenly, a deafening boom resounded through the region.
The Eldar Vagga appeared before him, for the second time in his life. Svavar knelt, "My lord..." Vagga laughed. "Get up boy, we have things to discuss." Svavar rose, a questioning look upon his face. "I have heard your plea Hjälte Svavar, and I shall aid you." Vagga looked out over the plain. "You must get help from the Terplings." he raised a hand to stop Svavar's protests. "I know your father advised against it, but they are my children, I will speak with Toranus, he will aid you." Svavar grunted. "Now, about the city, you cannot hold it. But you must try, for it will greatly delay the Leogathites. Send a messenger to Valtor, have them send the 4th army up the river to the mouth of the valley." Vagga finally drew Svavar's sword. "And, I will bring might to you." Another boom resounded. Vatten, the Eldar of water appeared alongside Vagga.
"What do you need brother?" he questioned, grinning.
"Do you know this man?" Vagga replied, gesturing at Svavar.
"Indeed, the Hjälte Svavar, son of Gvor!" Vatten said.
"He has called for our aid, I have granted him the thunderpath, give him control of the Storms." Vagga suggested.
Vatten only nodded. He grabbed Svavar by the shoulders. Storm clouds gathered in the sky above. And then the rain began. Vatten stepped back. "It is done." Both Eldar vanished.
Svavar looked out over the now muddy field. He sent the scout Havdor to alert Valtor. That night, the Leogathites arrived. The rain did not relent, but inside the walls, not a drop fell. For 6 weeks they held out, but were forced to abandon the city. The River Dur had flooded deep enough for them to escape by boat, and they rowed ferociously upstream. The River behind them churned and boiled with the storm, but was calm and clear ahead. The Might of Svavar had doubled, he was no longer Svavar the Flashman, he stood now as Svavar, the Storm King.
Thanks, Gamla Ar is gonna be really long, I'm working on drawing a map of the world. (At the end of Gamla Ar, the world is reforged, hence why i can make a map)
Words simply cannot describe this story. I have absolutely nothing to say, and "awesome, fantastic, incredible" didn't seem to get close to gripping this story. Getting forward to reading the whole Epic!
Thanks, I really appreciate it. In case you didn't notice, Skapande and the part before the first Sub-Chapter are written in a slightly different perspective than those after. Any Suggestions? The Empire is going to fight at least 2 more wars, though only one against other Humans. Gamla Ar is obviously going to be the main section, but I expect Återfödelse to be somewhat long.
