1. Remember the OP, everything is canon in at least one timeline. Other players don't contradict any "lore", so in this lore, every player is canon and real, meaning that my character (Xcano), and your character (MineJake516) both exist on the same planet and are two separate people. Steve is also a separate person, and he provides the genetic template for everyone who has the honor of being given the powers that our characters have (speed, strength, flight, nigh-invulnerability)
2. Okay, yes, it should. But if that's the case then there are no gods in Minecraft. Every boss can be killed by things other than Steve and the Players under the right conditions. The only thing that sets Steve and the Players apart is that they are sentient. Get rid of that and they're just slightly faster zombies.
3. Addressed this above
4. It is
ok, so I guess I didn't know some of your lore. Is there a place where you have everything you have thought of so far? I'd be really interested in reading all of it. And if all characters, players, 'gods', and mobs exist in one planet/universe, then wouldn't servers just be a location that steve and players can temporarily teleport to? would, then the nether and end be the same world for everyone, and the whither and dragon are both one of many, just like steve/players? could it be possible that there is a whither and dragon civilization similar to the one that creates steve/players, and when you create the whither, you're just pulling a creature from its homeland?, or do you already have lore on the whither?
And also, we should just create like 5 different minecraft lore universes, and see which one people like best, and have 3 be crazy, and 2 be reasonable.

The recent findings of strange temples, called "Ocean Monuments", has trumped scientists and archaeologists everywhere. "They simply couldn't have been built," says engineer Joal Arkfin, "There's simply no way these things could be structurally stable. They've been eroded for thousands of years and are being crushed by hundreds, and in some cases thousands, of tons of water. They should have collapsed as soon as they were built." we asked Filtra Ogals, lead architect of the new Space Tower project, what her thoughts were on what they were built for. "Truth is, we aren't really sure. They appear to be complex labyrinths that have some sort of golden shrine in the middle, so that would lead me to believe that they're either temples, or a monument to the rich around that time." When asked about why the Guardians where there she replied, "Well, again, I don't really know. I think that they may be there just to guard the gold, which would help out with our whole 'religious or monument' theory."
We asked Herm Boashl, professor at the University of Bagdod, how people survived long enough down there to finish the gargantuan structure. "There's a distinct possibility that they used Respiration equipment", he says "but it appears to have been used quite frequently, so that makes that theory fairly unlikely. There's a hypothesis going around that the monuments were built by some sort of amphibious species, but this is very unlikely, no fossils of any amphibious species have been found." When asked about the Guardians he replied, "Those are just completely off the radar. Testing on some of them shows that the younger ones are at least 100,000 years old, much older than the Precursor civilization's lifespan. It is possible that they evolved a hard shell to protect from outside threats, and were then tamed by the Precursors, but it is unknown how they would do that, as they don't seem to eat anything." We were given a few prismarine shards as a souvenir, and we donated a hundred dollars in return. Herm left us with a statement that the Ocean Monuments, like many Precursor artifacts, are still very mysterious, and that mystery likely won't be solved for the next few years.
Interesting theories. Of course know I need to know who the precursors are. Do you have a post where you've written down all the lore you've come up with?

Yes, servers are exactly that, as is every single seed. The Nether is the same connected place, like the Overworld, but the End is a bunch of isolated islands. The Wither and the Ender Dragon are both "species" of sorts, while the Wither is summoned from an as of yet unknown location. However, they do not have civilizations. And maybe, we should maybe do that.

Precursors are just the people that came before us. The ones who built the Strongholds, Dungeons, and all the other generated structures. Also, no, I don't. I was thinking about doing this as that, because I haven't really worked on my exposition skills, if I made one right now it would just look like I'm going "This, oh and uh, this too, and somewhere this happened, but before that this".

Oooh! Oh! I can write things well for you! I could absolutely take simple stories, facts, and other kinds of just 'vanilla' info from you, and put it into a fancy, and professional, yet still understandable form. And I might be able to create creative bits, like a newspaper report for the water temple and guardians lore you just did. I think it'd be fun!

Alright, give me, oh, say, a week, and I'll have a bunch of things typed up. But this thread is still open to questions.
Eh, I'll share my head-canon on how I feel Mojang, the Administrators and Moderators work, basically torn from my own story because I'm too lazy:
Mojang, otherwise known as the City of Divines, and the True Court, is the home of the Gods in the OverWorld. A massive city, built by the gods themselves, the Divine Council.
This Council consists currently of three figures, since the death of Notch and exile of Seph: Jeb, Dinner Bone and Grumm. Many conspiracy theorists believe the deceased Lord Herobrine to be a shadow councillor, but Jeb has stopped bothering to deny this claim.
The aforementioned True Court, is the method through which Mojang rules its many nations, the Crafts. The Crafts are large nation-sized areas ruled over by Administrators and their Moderators. These Administrators use their moderators as a police force, upholding the laws instated by the True Court and the Craft itself.
Those who violate such laws are cast into the Craft's "pit of banishment". These pits are large black pits into the ground, generally situated near the spawn, which use the same principles used by enderchests in order to keep the prisoners trapped. Those banished temporarily will be tied by the legs to the side of the pit or a bough on a tree above, and cast in. After their sentence expires they will be dragged out, terrified and usually a nervous wreck. But they are unable to explain why. Those who are banished permanently will simply be tossed in with little care, only retrievable by the administrators themselves.
So yeah, hope this helps in some way.
Btw, cool idea. Community driven lore section. I like it.
My theory on Endermites- Ender Pearls aren`t pearls. They`re eggs. However, they are powerful eggs, and spawn a lil` baby Enderman. That`s right- y`all killing babies. But this doesn't explain why they used to attack their babies. Can you expand, o wise lore master?
There are four of them, Ender, Demon, Terra, and their father Void. Before there was time there was Void. And Void created everything. He created the Cube, which he gave to his first son Terra. He created the nether deep inside the cube for his second son Demon. And for his third son Ender he created the stars. And to each of his sons he gave a command: "Make a race worthy of ruling over all my creation." Ender created the Endermen an aloof, intelligent race which danced among the stars. Demon created the Wither Skeletons, the strongest of all the races. And Terra created man, and he gave man imagination. And Void gave man the power to rule over all the races, but Ender and Demon refused to bow to their father's will and they created all manner of monsters in hopes of destroying man. So Void was forced to imprison his two sons and to this day they still live, waiting for their chance to defeat man...
Anyway there you have it, let me know what you guys think.

DOCUMENT 29-191
ONLY FOR LORD AND ABOVE EYES. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT HAVING READ THIS DOCUMENT WITHOUT PERMISSION YOU WILL BE SHOT.
RECOVERY: Document 29-191 was recovered from an abandoned space laboratory in the dimension designated "The End". Allincar Artifact Recovery Team A-07 entered the End at 02100 hours and promptly killed the Ender Dragon without difficulty. As they moved throughout the End they discovered an abandoned Allincar laboratory designed to study the function of Ender Pearls. Upon recovery of the documents the laboratory was reactivated. It is now to be used as a laboratory for the study of the End itself. Document 29-191 is to be kept in Lord Ellinshire's private quarters at all times. Any who enter without permission are to be killed on sight. If a member of the Upgraded population attempts to break in their Respawn mechanisms are to be remotely detonated. They are then to be killed for heresy.
SUMMARY: Document 29-191 contains a description of Ender Pearls, and their use. At first, very basic things are discussed, such as the process used in order to teleport with the Pearls. Three days after the Allincar science team set up the base in the End, they recovered an Enderman to experiment on. It was discovered that Endermen contain the Ender Pearls inside of an organ that is presumably used to teleport. The Pearl, when inside the Endermen, will generate energies that allow them to shift over to a dimension that exists in-between other dimensions. When shifting back out, the Enderman is in a different location. The organ the Pearl is contained in was discovered to be able to siphon these energies in order to do this process. Recordings of the Endermen teleporting in slow-motion revealed that they actually open a rift which they move through in order to get between dimensions. The reason why an Ender Pearl only works once upon removal of the item from an Enderman was not discovered, but it was theorized that it required energy from the Enderman in order to convert it into it's own energy, although it is not known how Endermen eat, or gain any energy at all.
Document 29-191 then stops referring to the discoveries made by the scientists stationed at the laboratory it was held in and instead becomes a sort of journal for an unnamed member of the team. Six days after research stopped on the Pearls the Endermen started to find out about the lab. An extermination team was sent in to round up the Endermen and use them for farming purposes. Four days after that the Endermen began to huddle towards the center of the farm, committing suicide in the center. The Pearls were then built into a large pile and guarded so that they could not harvest them. The next three entries are ripped out. When the entries resume, the Endermen begin compressing the Pearls into one large Pearl via unknown methods. One day after that the Pearl begins to be broken open by the Endermen. X-ray scans done on the Pearl revealed that there was an entity inside. Two days after the initial striking of the Pearl, a large amount of energy began radiating off of it. Those who went near the energy died. The final entry is ripped out and was replaced with a message reading "913 014".
Why do creepers drop music discs when killed by skeletons?
I really couldn't think of a way to stretch this out. So I'll just give it to you. Skeletons arrows tear through the Creeper, but not as much as our arrows. They always happen to hit them just right. We, on the other hand, will destroy the discs contained inside the Creeper, or just won't tear through it enough to have it safely drop out.

Cool! How about this- What`s the origin of blazes? Anything to do with ghasts?
Cool! How about this- What`s the origin of blazes? Anything to do with ghasts?
((Had a long reply to this then my computer crashed and I didn't copy it, I'm so sorry. I'll give you a summary though, written from the prespective of the public's knowledge.))
Ghasts diverged from proto-squids around 100 million years ago. It is unknown how the entered the Nether. They fly through the use of an organ in their body that produces an odd liquid tha evaporates at low temperatures. This allows them to fly much like hot air balloon. The source of their fireballs is a mystery. It has been suggested that they can somehow convert surrounding air and matter into them, however, but they appear to have no mechanisms allowing for such things.
Blazes are an even bigger mystery, however, as the oldest ones found are up to 300 million years in age. This well exceeds the age of the earliest known Precursor artifact, which is a mere 1 million years old. Blazes fly using an unknown levitation technology, although nearly all of them are in poor condition. The most well preserved Blazes are capable of flight much more advanced that anything achieved today, being capable of travel to space and speeds well exceeding Mach 5. The fireballs thrown by the Blazes seem to come from another dimension, or are possibly even constructed from matter around it through some unseen methods. Blazes are a force to be reckoned with and should be killed or contained at any possible opportunity. Any Blazes that appear stronger than normal should be reported to the Government immediately.
((By the way, if you're wondering what the unknown methods the Blazes use to make the fireballs it, it's nanotechnology. That's what the "smoke" is, a small foglet cloud.))
What's the origin of Steve? And what's the Creeper's story, as well? Really interested to know
INTERVIEW WITH "STEVE" ON DATE 11/16/198
Emperor Shintak: So, "Steve", what's your full name?
Steve: Steve IV
Emperor Shintak: Anything else?
Steve: Nope, that's it. Just Steve IV.
Emperor Shintak: Yes, yes, now uh, do you remember how we got you in here?
Steve: Yeah, you shot me. Then when I respawned you tazed me.
Emperor Shintak: Sorry about that, we just needed to see how exactly you do respawn. Which, if the recordings are to be believed, is nothing like our own.
Steve: Your point being?
Emperor Shintak: You are a very strange... thing Steve. Everyone in Minecraftia shares DNA with you and that other Alex person. You appear to be composed primarily of some sort of synthetic flesh, and you cannot die. Ever. We have found no traces of Respawn Tech in you. You just "appear".
Steve: *no response*
Emperor Shintak: Steve, exactly how old are you?
Steve: Well, you know the Allincar, or the "Precursors", as you call them? Older than them. You are just the next civilization to rise. There have been so many before you, and there will be many after you. I just happened to stay alive.
Emperor Shintak: Well gee, you're awfully pessimistic, now aren't you?
Steve: Eh, I switch personalities sometimes. Want to try everything out at least once in my life. Speaking of which...
At this moment Steve summons begins ticking. Three seconds later he explodes with a force of 50 MT of TNT. Everyone within a 30 kilometer radius died instantly. Many more died from an unknown poison after several months. The incident was covered up as a large implosion of Ender energy. Steve was found one month later and when asked for his reasons behind the explosion he replied "I wanted to know what it was like to be a nuclear bomb." As of yet he has not told us what a "nuclear bomb" is.
Woo, this seems cool... Awesome theories on everything asked here. Keep up the good work!
As for my question,
What exactly are the wither skeletons in relation to the Wither itself?
((Aw, I love you to))
Occultism for Children
If you want to raise your kids right, you got to teach them about our Infernal Lord of Nightmares and the eventual decay of all existence! After all, what would a healthy family unit be without a good dose of nightmarish nihilism? Now, the first thing you have to do is teach them about the Infernal Lord's servant, the Wither.
The Wither is really a nice guy once you get to know him, his only dream is to simply kill all living things. After all, living things are the only hings capable of evil, am I right? Alright, so anyways, the Wither is a really cool guy. All you have to do is sacrifice several thousand souls to him and he'll grant the best wish you could ever have. Dying!
If the Wither doesn't get to you, his beloved servants will. Those towering monstrosities roam the Nether Fortresses searching for damned souls. Most of those filthy "archeologists" say that the Wither Skeletons came from the dead bodies of previous humans that were a little taller than usual, but we know better than that. Wither Skeletons were most definitely created by the beloved Wither himself. It says so in the very first chapters of our Sacred Writings!
Remember kids, if you want to summon the Wither, all you need to do is collect three skulls of his servants and place them on a totem of soul sand, just like how the disgusting villager race builds their unholy machinery. But remember, only a very small amount of these skulls are useable, the rest will wither away you hands on contact, stopping you from ever summoning our master. But, if you do summon our master, he will finally kill you, allowing you to become one with the Void, becoming eternally blissful. Forever.

Forever.

O Overlord, please teach me the more accurate and spiritual occults of the world in further lectures
