I wasn't sure where exactly this should go, but I thought it would fit best here. Alright, so if you're confused, read my signature, then, it you want the full story, read the bio on my profile. So, basically I'm here to give what would be considered the most "canon" answer to any questions you have. Now, before you get all huffed and puffed and blow my thread down, I want to say this, everything is canon. The only things that are not canon are things that seriously contradict anything that I write, but I will try to avoid that at all costs, because I know the work you guys put into this stuff. Even if it does contradict something that I write, we could just say "Oh, well those parts aren't canon" or "Well, it's an alternate timeline". This allows everything to be canon within the Minecraft Universe. Alright, enough chit-chat, I'm ready for some questions.
Disc 11 is a very old disc, possibly the oldest of all of the discs, but we cannot pinpoint exactly when it was made, as the mystery surrounding it caused it to be produced en mass, leading to the original fading away. From official documents gathered during archeological digs, we can assume that it involves an unnamed, poor miner who went out into the wilderness to live off the land. He somehow came across a disc, and decided to bring it down into the mines, just in case something interesting happened.
it is unknown how he encountered the creature in the disc, or what the creature is. However, most believe that it was a ravenous, sickly Endermen, trapped beneath the stone after accidentally teleporting inside when the ceiling collapsed, pouring a stream of water directly onto the hapless creature. When the miner encountered it it flew into a craze fueled by days of hunger and sickness, however it did not kill him, the tape was simply distorted by the crack in it, which always seems to appear after playing the disc once, for as of yet unknown reasons.
An alternative theory is that whatever the miner uncovered was the same thing that led to the demise of their civilization. However, there is next to no proof supporting this theory, and it barely holds up to any scrutiny. Most historians agree that those monsters came from an other-worldly source, not from any mine.

The Wither is an ancient deity, once believed to be known as The Purifier. It reigned in the Nether as one of the three Gods of Minecraftia. It was said to have purged the world of sin. Now, an underground cult worships the Wither, having found the texts that describe its all-mighty power.
When resurrected, the Wither smells of rotting, burning flesh. It is capable of human speech, and when it attacks, it sounds like several souls screaming in agony.
The Wither status effect, or Withering, is actual rapid decomposition, but it happens while the effectee is still alive.
The Wither has no alignment, and will punish all that it deems as sinful, even those that resurrected it.
What are the origins of the Undead mobs? What races were consumed to create them? And why do they keep appearing over and over?
The Undead are one of the oldest threats to civilization, almost as old as sentient life itself. The discovery of ancient Dungeons led many to believe that all Undead arose from the so-called "Spawners". This theory was quickly dismissed, however, as they do not appear to activate without a nearby living being. The current leading theory is that the Undead arose from a war long ago that involved users of the ancient magic known as "Necromancy". However, critics of this theory claim that there are very few writings that support this, and that it's likely that those documents were myths in order for the Precursors to explain the origin of the Undead. An alternative theory is that the Undead did rise from the Spawners, but that the Spawners were made to keep their owners alive for as long as possible, over time the decay of their body would lead to them becoming the Undead they are today. However, there is no evidence supporting this, and this theory is only used by anti-science or anti-magic groups that decry respawning as an unnatural practice.
The Undead, while fairly easy to dispose of, are incredibly numerous and will likely be around for hundreds, if not thousands of years from now. There were likely multiple contributing factors to their rise to the numbers today, but only two main ones. As stated earlier, the Spawners likely contributed a good amount to their numbers, but they were not the main reason that the Undead became as numerous as they are today, considering that they were easy to cover up. Journals written around the demise of the Precursor civilization suggests that the Undead virus spread incredibly quickly, likely through an air-borne virus and killings by the converted. This is why the Undead are so incredibly common in modern Minecraftia. It is unknown why we are immune, although it has been suggested that we descended from Precursors that were born naturally immune.

Good headcanon! Although if the Wither is only one god, that makes me worry about the rest.
Well, the ender dragon is god of the End. That means we just need an overworld god.
OMG I just thought of an idea before; that steve is a god. look at his shadow. One of the only circles in the game (ignore the other shadows, theyre just hallucinations ;D). He can place blocks. He can summon the other gods. He can bring them to his own realm. He is infinite (minus hardcore). He can warp between realms (portals). He can go to other universes (servers). He can remove blocks and entities and add them as well (mods). He flies, and makes infinite blocks (creative and world generation). He can control whether or not the universe is running (pausing and logging off). And he can change form (skins). STEVE MUST BE GOD.

If I came across as hurried, pretentious, ungrateful, angered, impatient, stupid, needy, or mean, or all of the above, I didn't intend to, I just don't know how to make it not seem that way.

No, he cannot move between Planes of Existence (servers) without the aid of technology. And Creative Mode is available to many people. He does not make mods, you do. In fact, Steve, and the Players in general, are fairly weak compared to those that were before them.

well, i suppose the mods was a weak example, but the servers is strong. He can't EXIST without technology to run the game, so your tech counter-lore isn't any good. He exist in all worlds, like the other 'gods'. Creative may be available to all players, but all players are steve, and no non-god mob in the game can fly, (I'd say blazes use convection, bats use wings, ghasts use hot air columns and glide) or place blocks and generate them. Oh, wait enderman. They just pick them up and move them. steve can absorb them! and steve might not be weak, but rather is just not realizing his full potential on purpose to challenge himself, and have fun.

Okay, think of it like this. very rarely when a child is born in Minecraftia they will have a small device implanted into them. This device allows for a multitude of functions, such as moving throughout Planes of Existence, and carrying items in extra-dimensional storage space. In fact, some of them learn to use these powers to fly and summon objects and blocks from other Planes of Existence. Indeed, they are incredibly powerful, but they are also a minority in the Minecraftian populous, and can still be killed, even when they're at their strongest (Creative Mode). Travel to other dimensions, like the Nether and the End, isn't limited to just Stave and the Players in-game avatars, anyone can do it, they just don't due to the obvious threats there. Steve is nowhere near a god, he is more powerful than the average in-game Player avatar, but he can still be killed. The gods are so much higher than anything that has ever appeared in Minecraft.

Okay. A couple issues. 1, where are these 'people of minecraftia'? They can't be villagers, since they have no technology, and they can't be ancient, since steve would have to have reincarnation powers, or something.
2, yes, he can be killed, but so can the whither and the enderdragon. and any minecraft lore, i think, should really be able to be backed up with in game evidence, or actually be in game, so the gods cant be higher than anything in minecraft, because if there are three minecraft gods, then they have to be in mincraft to be minecraft gods but heres another proposition;
'steve' as he appears in game may not be truly the god of the overworld. Maybe his powers were limited and his memory wiped by the other gods as punishment, and when they battle him, its an attempt to limit his growing power. Also, the fact of the gods being so weak may be due to him actually being so powerful, or maybe their godly protection is ineffective to him.
3.The in game player avatar is steve, and he cant be more powerful than himself.
4. this debate is really fun, its nice to be challenged with other ideas

1. Remember the OP, everything is canon in at least one timeline. Other players don't contradict any "lore", so in this lore, every player is canon and real, meaning that my character (Xcano), and your character (MineJake516) both exist on the same planet and are two separate people. Steve is also a separate person, and he provides the genetic template for everyone who has the honor of being given the powers that our characters have (speed, strength, flight, nigh-invulnerability)
2. Okay, yes, it should. But if that's the case then there are no gods in Minecraft. Every boss can be killed by things other than Steve and the Players under the right conditions. The only thing that sets Steve and the Players apart is that they are sentient. Get rid of that and they're just slightly faster zombies.
Right now the only thing that comes to my mind is something that has to do with Atlantis. And yes that is the right phrase.
The recent findings of strange temples, called "Ocean Monuments", has trumped scientists and archaeologists everywhere. "They simply couldn't have been built," says engineer Joal Arkfin, "There's simply no way these things could be structurally stable. They've been eroded for thousands of years and are being crushed by hundreds, and in some cases thousands, of tons of water. They should have collapsed as soon as they were built." we asked Filtra Ogals, lead architect of the new Space Tower project, what her thoughts were on what they were built for. "Truth is, we aren't really sure. They appear to be complex labyrinths that have some sort of golden shrine in the middle, so that would lead me to believe that they're either temples, or a monument to the rich around that time." When asked about why the Guardians where there she replied, "Well, again, I don't really know. I think that they may be there just to guard the gold, which would help out with our whole 'religious or monument' theory."
We asked Herm Boashl, professor at the University of Bagdod, how people survived long enough down there to finish the gargantuan structure. "There's a distinct possibility that they used Respiration equipment", he says "but it appears to have been used quite frequently, so that makes that theory fairly unlikely. There's a hypothesis going around that the monuments were built by some sort of amphibious species, but this is very unlikely, no fossils of any amphibious species have been found." When asked about the Guardians he replied, "Those are just completely off the radar. Testing on some of them shows that the younger ones are at least 100,000 years old, much older than the Precursor civilization's lifespan. It is possible that they evolved a hard shell to protect from outside threats, and were then tamed by the Precursors, but it is unknown how they would do that, as they don't seem to eat anything." We were given a few prismarine shards as a souvenir, and we donated a hundred dollars in return. Herm left us with a statement that the Ocean Monuments, like many Precursor artifacts, are still very mysterious, and that mystery likely won't be solved for the next few years.
