The story begins with an evil race of aliens. They are green, scaly, armless, and explosive. They are here to take over the world. They are... the CREEPERS!!! They were flying in a giant spaceship, preparing to take over. The leader, Yxplosia, telekinetically unlocked a heavily guarded crate and took out a jar labeled "creeper dust." Then, he sprinkled it on the world. Many of the humans turned into zombies. Villagers turned into evil witches. Slimy beings suddenly jumped out of swamps. Spiders grew 10,000 times their size. A lot of the dust also fell on famous dead archers who were buried with their bows. They came out of their graves, bow in hand, and were ready to kill.
One important person comes into play in this story: a teenager named Steve. He had prepared his house for his parents' 19th anniversary and would surprise them once they arrived at the house. They were supposed to be back at 7:00, but when the hour arrived, they still weren't home. Steve waited for another hour, but they still weren't home. He began to worry. Did something happen to them? Finally, at 9:30, they arrived... BUT THEY WERE ZOMBIES!!!!!! Steve was horrified now. He ran to the back door, tripping through streamers and confetti along the way. He practically flew out the back door, through the gate, and escaped into the night. He had time to look back one last time as a green creature scuttled into his house and exploded, destroying it and his zombified parents with it.
Steve had lost everything. His parents were dead, his house was gone, and now zombies, skeletons, and creepers were jumping out at him from every corner. He was the only human left for miles. He hid in a shadowy spot under a tree and stayed there until the sun came out.
Once he felt the warm, welcoming sun on his skin, Steve felt better. However, he had nothing to survive. He was left to forage for food and create a shelter. He started by beating a tree with his bare hands. It was actually easier than he thought it would be. Then he created a crafting table to make more items. He used some wood and sticks to create a sword. Steve looked around. There were cows, chickens, pigs, and sheep all around him. It was sad killing a poor, defenseless animal, but it was them or him. So he swung his sword. He stored his raw food for later. Next, he created a pickaxe to mine stone. He had heard about how to make furnaces with nothing but stone, so he made one. He cooked his food and ate it. Having a full stomach gave him more energy to keep going.
Over time, Steve mastered his sword and was able to easily slay the monsters that came out at night. He built a shelter and stored his items with chests. He discovered iron, gold, and occasionally diamonds underground. He had gotten quite used to surviving on his own and was ready for more. His tale still continues today. Steve is still mining, exploring, and killing to not only survive, but actually live. He is expanding his home, and is learning how to use redstone as electricity. Soon, Steve will have his life the way he had wanted it.
