I made this up in my head when I saw a creeper and thought about why it was so sad... what was causing that sadness?
It was the Era of Diamonds -- Many became rich, there was little war, and of course diamonds were first discovered. Man had almost tamed everything, including creepers. Back in the Era of Diamonds, they were called "greenhuggers". They were friendly, and always had a smile. They loved hugs, and gave them. In the later years of the Era of Diamonds, though, owners of these greenhuggers became more abusive.
They made greenhuggers do more work, and greenhuggers were disappointed, but kept their smiles. Eventually, after months, even years of the same work, greenhuggers assumed what they would do. They got in habit. For an odd reason, the owners of greenhuggers didn't like that. They started to not feed greenhuggers, and started punishing them by hitting them! Greenhuggers left home. They wandered around, their faces slowly turning to frowns. They all starved to death, except 2 semi-smart greenhuggers. They ate whatever they could find. TnT, they thought, would give them great powers. They stole some from a garage in a cabin located in the middle of a Birch Forest. This house was nice, and it was on top of an elevated hill, plus a pond was nearby. It seemed like a good place to stay. But, the 2 greenhuggers figured humans would beat them, and so they ate some TnT and left...
It wasn't a good idea. You can't really blame them, though; thinking on an empty stomach is very hard. But, it was still a very bad idea, but 'twas karma to the humans. The 2 greenhuggers' stomachs hurt, but they never starved again. They also turned evil. Their eyes turned black (they were blue), like their mouth. The creepers repopulated. A greenhugger grows from a newborn to an adult in 4-7 days. So, a month after those last 2 greenhuggers had greenhugglets, there were now 14 greenhuggers! The parents fed their greenhugglets TnT, and the children became evil. They wanted revenge on humans. They decided to commit suicide just to cause grief, anger, and pain to humans and their belongings. The creepers (their names were changed when the 14 greenhuggers returned) convinced some other domesticated animals to go and attack humans. This became the Era of Doom.
Rate on a scale 1-10 stars, 10 being perfect story, 1 being should have never existed it's that bad. You can go and use decimals (to the tenth, no hundredth or further), such as 8.3. You can also rate factors seperately (for example, Creativeness: 9.1, Storyline: 8), and you can make up your own factors. Also, say what you like and what you wish could be added. I might use what you want added in a second story, possibly. Thanks for reading!
I see, yes, mine was slightly boring at times, but I think I'll work on... hm. Any ideas of a sequel? (Doesn't have to be creeper related; mob suggestions work, any mob.)
And so Phil set off on his epic quest with his companion Phil and his sister Phil. Together they will face against many Phils to find out what happened to Phil before Phil destroys the world to get revenge on Phil for cheating on him with Phil.

8/10! It could be better, and I would love a sequel!

WHY
Creativeness: 9
Storyline: 7 (could have used a bit more detail in parts to do with the mistreatment of the "greenhuggers")
Overall: 8
Good job.
I'd love to see your take on the Endermen, or why there's a difference between zombies and skeletons.
