So, it's been a good few months since I posted anything in this section, and my first story, 'The Word', seemed to be relatively enjoyed (http://www.minecraft...11019-the-word/). So without further ado, here is my new story, titled 'My Story'. I will be updating it periodically, so there will be more to it than this.
This is my story. I was a person, much like you reading this. I had a home in a nice suburban area, and a well-paying job. But... I never really had many people to talk to. My parents died when I was young, so I lived in a foster home with people who hardly cared for me. I had no - I'm sorry, let me stop here. I doubt you want my life's story and it's not really needed here. Just know that I have always felt so alone, like nobody ever understood me. However, the dreams kept me going. I dreamed of a fantastic place with rolling grassy hills, and scorching deserts, and humid swamps! And... And... Oh, my apologies, I got a little worked up. Anyways, the dreams were nice. They made me feel like I wasn't so alone, even though the landscapes were devoid of other people, they just all seemed so welcoming. One day, though, I went to bed, and when I woke up, the dream didn't go away.
I woke up and looked around, and saw the grassy hills. I blinked, and they were there. I closed my eyes and counted to ten, and they were there. I tried to wake up any way I could, but the realization slowly dawned on me, that this wasn't a dream. Then I heard something, it was a low, rolling whisper. I almost missed what it said, but I caught it. I heard - No, I felt it. I felt the word vibrate through my body, through my brain. It was the word 'Create'. What was that whisper? What did it mean? My head was spinning at this point, I had no idea what the whisper wanted me to do. However, I couldn't just sit here forever and hope this wasn't real, I had to look around, look for other people. Though deep down I knew I would find nobody else. I walked, and I walked, and I walked. For what felt like hours, I gave a quick glance upwards and saw that it had been hours indeed, the sun was now directly overhead. Though, I didn't really feel to hot. I shrugged it off and went to keep walking when my stomach growled, I looked around for anything edible.
