Just a short story I wrote awhile ago, hope you enjoy! More to come soon!
The fresh air was blowing and I caught the scent of wildflowers and fresh cut wood in the air. I looked out my balcony. The day seemed perfect... to perfect. The king's messenger arrived. I seemed to know what he was going to say when he sprinted in. He turned to me. "Sire," he said, " The royal rangers have spotted the beast." I looked sadly at my queen then to my kingdom. "Warn everyone," I said, " get them out." The messenger then ran to the bell tower. I waited in fear, for I never wanted to hear those bells. The bells sound rang through the land... There were screams of confusion in the market. A royal ran in real quick and hastily. "My King", the dragon approaches." I ran to my queen and took her hand in mine. "Tell the head guardsmen to dispatch the rangers. we are going to slay this beast." The screams were raised in alarm as the dragon appeared in the sky. My queen and I raced down the steps and into the food pantry. I then opened up the trapdoor. This door led into the castle wall. While going down the dragon roared and I rushed to the window. I got there just in time to see the wall break open and let all of the flood water into the city. The water started to flood the city. We still kept going. The passageway we were following opened into the church which was located near the gate. When we finally got to the church we peeked through the window. The rangers were taking down the dragon. My queein and I rushed out of the church and headed for the east gate. This gate was not guarded because the road was crushed. The door creaked open. The road led up to the hill. The dragon had made its way to the castle at the kingdom I made. The rangers killed the dragon. The day was saved... So it seemed.
The sun was suddenly blotted out as three more dragons roared over dwarf mountain. The Dragons Then broke down the entire wall. They were unmerciful. The screams died away as the city flooded and caught on fire. I realized I was running with my queen. The sound died out and a small village appeared from these rolling hills. I thought about my skills I had: Masonry, Farming, and Forging. I then decided my decision.
After good times come bad times. After bad times come worse times. We must reconstruct Silverwood... My legacy will continue...
This kingdom will live again, it will rise and damn the dragons to hell they will be killed. This kingdom comes first and we will rebuild. We Will build an Army. The village I am walking to has 8 small houses all made out of wood. I thought to myself. This is the beginning of a new age.
The morning breeze cannot cover up what has happened. My entire life has been ruined. The inn im in is very empty. My queen is still sleeping. I have decided to keep my identity hidden. The door slammed open as my highest ranking Ranger stumbled in. "Sir, I have news from Sil-" "NOT HERE!" I rasped. We went outside the village. there was a small inlet in the side of a hill. We sat there. Silent. For a couple of seconds, Rorrik, the ranger, was the first to talk. "We killed the first dragon..." he said. " But they kept coming. Im sorry." "Don't be," I continued, "I know what happened." They both sat there as the morning sun rose. Then the hissing began. Rorrick stood up, knocked an arrow to his bow and turned. To Rorrick's shock, a large spider jumped up through a hole and lunged towards me. Rorrik released the arrow and it sliced through the air. The arrow slammed into the spiders head and the spider went limp. "That was close." said Rorrik. "Let's get out of here!" I yelled.
There was and unearthly cranking sound. A block of rock fell and then another and another. The whole time I was running out of the cave following Rorrik. The breeze was flowing in the entrance. The air was cooling. Rorrik and I ran out of the cave and to the village.
The inn was nice and the queen was up. I whispered to her. "My queen, we must keep going. We will gather supplies here and start reconstruction." "If we wish to rebuild we must start at the root." "You mean in this pheasant village?" I said loudly. "Yes." She said. "Very well." I agreed.
As the days came and went, the walls grew higher while our hopes for avenging the old kingdom also raised.
"I cannot remember a day when I was happy after the awakening, but we will rise!" My voice boomed through the village and its walls. I walked down from the church and back to my make-shift house. While I walked, three new visitors entered. They each had axes and bows. They were rangers. They walked to me and said, "We are here to help." I pointed towards the half constructed wall and said, "Good, after my old kingdom was destroyed, we can get all of the help we get."
After awhile, days turned into weeks and weeks to months, months to years. After the King found the village and started to rebuild, the queen died. The King was very sad. He then sent scouting parties into the wilderness to find more settlers. They eventually all flocked to the village. More and more settlers came and the village expanded into a city and eventually a kingdom. The Kingdom was named silverwood. 30 years after the destruction of the old kingdom, the king appointed a new king and queen. The king died and a statue of gold was constructed. The new king ruled with an iron fist but he was reasonable. SiverWood has been built and will never be destroyed. This royal kingdom will avenge the old kingdom and end the Enderdragons. The Old King's legacy will live on. They must be stopped at all costs. We need you, to help us defeat the EnderDragons!
NOTE: I WROTE THIS 4 YEARS AGO!! DON'T JUDGE MY EIGHTH GRADE GRAMMAR!

We must reconstruct Silverwood...
