This is my first story I hope you guys like it! Please tell me if you like it or not by replying in this forum!
(The story isn't real, but it is interesting.)
There was a great minecraft server a couple of years ago. It shut down recently, however. It wasn't because the server was griefed or hacked. Something much worse happened to it. Here is it's story:

This particular server was a factions server owned by a group of friends. They wanted to create the best experience for their players. At least, that's what their initial goal was. In this server, two of the biggest factions ruled the server: The Raiders and the Crusaders. Each faction was very large, and well kept. Their owners built their bases out of the best materials, in the most remote and far away areas of the server map. It was inevitable these two factions would fight for control of the server. Thus, a huge civil war erupted in the server. The land between the two faction's bases was considered no-man's land. People fought for food, weapons, diamonds, and most of all, Tnt. The worst part: No faction could be neutral. You were either with the Crusaders or the Raiders. If you defied either, you were killed and raided. Pretty soon the whole server was divided by Raiders and Crusaders. It got so bad, even the owners couldn't ignore the fact their server would be torn apart within days.
The owners desperately wanted the war to end. However, it became clear that some owners wanted a particular side to win. Soon, the owners themselves went into fighting and joined the sides they wanted to fight for. The whole server was in chaos. The owners gave supplies to the side they were fighting for, and were killing regular players with creative mode. After 5 weeks of nonstop combat, people started to leave the server. The factions started losing members, and soon only the owners and faction leaders were fighting. At last, one owner banned both faction leaders, and demanded that a peace treaty to be made.
However, the world was ruined. Spawn was blown apart, items scattered everywhere. It was impossible to rebuild anything. Soon, all the owners left the server.
This story shows you what happens when owners take sides in a faction war.....nothing good comes from it.
