A hero has fallen into the Eternal Wilds with no memory of his heroic deeds. With the help of the strange voice in his head, he will attempt to defeat an evil spirit with a goal to use all of the Overworld's resources to expand his End Empire.
Just a bit of a synopsis/intro. The reason I decided to create this so suddenly is because last week I discovered that November is NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and decided that I should write a fanfiction (For those wondering about Shadows of Reality: I am planning on doing a complete re-write of it in January).
Anyways, during the last week or so, I have been spending some free time creating this History of the End timeline:
Before we get to the actual timeline, just know what this is:
BST = Before Steve's Triumph. Works like our B.C/B.C.E. All events in BST happen before Steve defeats the Ender Dragon.
Now, onto the actual timeline:
circa 100000 BST: The End Portal is Created
Endermen first appeared before villagers and told them of their land. They told them the secrets of how to create the End Portal. They built a secret stronghold to hide it away from those who would use it for evil.
circa 85000 BST: The First Ender Tragedy
Humans discovered the End Portal and entered it. Since the endermen attacked them upon sight, all but 22 endermen were killed. Finally, all the humans who entered were killed and the End Portal was deactivated.
circa 60000 BST: Naikon saves the End
An enderman with red eyes named saved the End from a human who reactivated the End Portal by using a magical tome. Ever since, it has been declared that the eldest enderman with red eyes should be ruler of the End. This still carries out in the present with King Raiko.
circa 10000 BST: Erano creates peace with Humans
Erano, the current king of the End, went to the Overworld and activated the portal and began to create peace between the humans and endermen. In fact, it is said that people could look into an enderman's eyes and be safe for many years after Erano established peace.
561 BST: The Ender Dragon is Sighted
An enderman reports that he saw a dragon flying above the End. Soon after, many more reports of this were made until it was deemed that there indeed was a dragon.
326 BST: The Second Ender Tragedy
It was at this point that the Ender Dragon had gathered enough strength to conquer the End. First, he simply demanded rule over the End. When the leader denied, the Ender Dragon burned down every last home created by Endermen. He was then immediately deemed ruler of the End. He would then begin to enslave the Endermen and torture those who weren't loyal to him. After this happened, Erano's peace was broken and the red-eyed ruler tradition was stalled.
320 BST: The Great Pillars are Constructed
The Ender Dragon orders the Endermen to construct large pillars which would house regenerating crystals he has created. However, an enderman with the Tome of Naikon cursed the crystals so that they would remove his fire breath.
0: Steve
As some endermen had teleported out of the End without the Dragon noticing, many people had heard of the terrible Ender Dragon. However, no one was brave enough to fight it. Finally, after the last red-eyed enderman was about to die, Steve decided it was time to take matters into his own hands. He went into the End, destroyed the crystals, and defeated the Ender Dragon, sending not just the End, but the whole world into a new age. The End's new ruler hid the Dragon Egg deep underground and completely buried it. However, the peace between Endermen and humans wasn't restored just yet.
45: The Ender Golem is Constructed
After Steve died, the Endermen decided that in case another Ender Dragon or any other powerful creature came into the End, they would need a protector. Using the remaining shards of the crystals and the obsidian from the pillars, the Ender Golem was created. It was twice the size of an Iron Golem and was much stronger.
241: The Era of Heroes Begins
It had been almost 200 years since the Ender Golem had been built and no one knows why it turned on the Endermen when it did. But it began to hit endermen left and right. Then a man named Mark came into the End. He excelled in avoiding attacks. He found the pressure points in the golem and put a diamond pickaxe in each. The golem crumbled. The current King of the End declared that they could not create a protector and that humans were the most capable of protecting them. To show that humans were welcome in the End, Mark and the King agreed that the Stronghold should be open to the public. From this point on, a hero would come when the End was in trouble. Thus, the Era of Heroes began.
544: The Possessed Statue
A power-hungry enderman gave a statue of Steve to the Ender King. However, he was secretly controlling it using the Tome of Naikon. A few days after it was given to the king, it began to destroy the palace, targeting only the king. The statue was fireproof as it was made of clay and it crushed anyone with a pickaxe. However, the hero Jared discovered its weakness: the eyes. If both eyes were hit by an arrow at the exact same time, the statue would fall apart. He and the King took down the statue together. However, the mastermind got away.
813: The “Saviors” of the Overworld
A group of people calling themselves the Saviors of the Overworld decided that the End must be destroyed for the safety of the Overworld. They were masters with TNT began destroying the homes of innocent endermen. The hero Drake single-handedly took down all 20 of the “saviors”, saving the End.
1142: Coros and the Tome of Naikon
Coros, who was older than the current Ender King, wanted power badly. Hearing of an enderman with a tome who tried to kill the king, Coros decided to find the ancient text himself. He destroyed massive amount of the underside of the End. Instead of finding the tome, he found something much better: the Dragon Egg. However, the power was limited. Later, he used the Dragon Egg to find the Tome of Naikon. When the two touched together, they created a staff of incredible power. His plans had begun.
1143: The Third Ender Tragedy
Using his staff, Coros did the most terrible thing he could do with it: He destroyed all the enderman's homes, killed the King (giving himself red eyes in the process), and hypnotized the Endermen to act like they were forced to in the Dragon's time. He became the Supreme Overlord of the End.
1151: Raiko, Rightful Heir to the Throne, Defeats Coros
Raiko, a red-eyed enderman, was immune to the effects of Coros's hypnotic powers. Knowing of this, Coros trapped Raiko inside a torture chamber with walls too thick to teleport through. Finally, Raiko tore the entire place apart and faced off against Coros in a battle that nearly destroyed the End. Coros was killed and Raiko used Coros's staff to restore the End to its original state and free the endermen. Raiko then protected the staff with his life so that no one would use it for evil.
1167: Raiko is Possessed by the Spirit of Coros
Coros's spirit had been banished to the deepest region of the Nether. Sixteen years after this, Coros made a deal with an ancient spirit. Raiko was the only enderman who could unlock the staff's true power. The deal between Coros and the spirit was that Coros's spirit would be sent into Raiko's body. After Coros completed his plans, he would use the staff to free the spirit. If Coros betrayed the spirit, he would be dragged back into the Nether.
1170 (Present): Jack fails against Coros
The youngest Hero of the End was also the first to fail. In 1170, the face of King Raiko appeared and said that a boy named Jack was destined to save the End from a spirit possessing Raiko's body. Thus, Jack was into the End. Just as Jack was about to defeat Coros, Coros completely changed the End's terrain. Jack fell through the void and into an area known as the Eternal Wilds, a large area consisting of every biome that was 100,000 blocks away from charted regions. Many people in the End have fallen into here, forgotten forever.
The grass was so soft I wanted to lay there forever. But the feeling only lasted about five seconds.
What are you doing lying down at a time like this? The End is in crisis!
I jumped up with a start. The voice didn't seem to come from any direction. I looked at my surrounding. Just a ton of flowers and a few trees.
“Who's there?” I asked.
I'm inside your head. You won't be able to see me. Don't bother trying to get me out. Coros trapped my consciousness inside your body. Believe me, I'd leave if I could.
“It's no party over here either,” I said, “And who the heck is Coros? And what's the End?”
Oh great. More complications. I'll explain all of that later. Right now, I better describe your situation. Currently, we're trapped inside the Eternal Wilds. It's 100,000 blocks from charted regions. One of every type of biome is in here. This means we have a long journey ahead of us if we want to get to the Stronghold. Since you appear to be clueless about everything, I suppose you've lost your memory.
“Now that I think about it, I don't really remember anything. Anyway, I'm guessing the Stronghold takes us to the End,” I said, “And then we fight that Coros guy.”
At least you're smart. I suggest we try and find someone else trapped in the Wilds.
“Okay, ummm...” I said, “What's your name?”
I am Raiko, rightful ruler of the End. Right now we don't have much time. Even if we left for the Stronghold right now, we'd still be too late.
“Then what's the point of hurrying?” I asked, “If we'll be too late anyway, we might as well prepare so we have a shot at stopping Coros.”
I suppose you're right. Seeing as you know nothing about surviving in the wild, I suppose I must teach you. See the trees? Punch them down and obtain their wood.
I walked over to the tree and beat it with my fists as hard as I could. It took a while, but I punched down several trees.
Now turn them into planks, then turn the planks into a workbench.
“Could ya maybe speed this up?” I said, “It's almost night time.”
I created the workbench and a few more planks along with it.
I see some sheep in the distance kill them and use their wool and your wooden planks to create a bed.
“Kill them with my fists?” I asked, “Won't that take a while?”
I meant make a sword and kill them. Clearly, you're not as smart as I thought.
I turned some planks into sticks and created a wooden sword. By the looks of it, it would snap easily. I walked over to a heard of sheep and swung my sword at one. I kept swinging, killing it. It dropped some green orbs and a block of wool.
Those green orbs are experience. If you ever need to know your experience level, just ask me.
After killing more sheep, I had three blocks of wool. I laid them on top of three wooden planks to create a bed. It didn't look very comfortable, however.
"I think I got the hang of this!" I said.
This is only the beginning of many challenges you will face. Now sleep before the zombies rise.
Just as I fell asleep, I exploded.
You've been blown up by a creeper! Get up! Run! There may be more!
I had been woken up by getting blown up and my crazy mind guide was now telling me to run. I had a sword. I didn't know what he was so worried about.
Hurry! The undead are rising! Let's just hope they don't have armor.
I took out my sword and looked around, waiting for an attack. But, luckily, nothing came. Then, I heard a loud vloomp sound behind me. I turned and saw the torso of a black figure that looked sort of like me, but more slender.
Wait! Don't look into his eyes!
But I was too late. I looked into his eyes, which glowed purple. He looked back at me and opened his mouth. He began to vibrate. I tried to swing my sword at him, but he vanished into purple smoke. Suddenly, I was hit from behind and fell to the ground.
I got up and tried to fight again, but the enderman grabbed my sword and threw it away. He kept punching me before I could react. Eventually, the world went black.
Endermen can't see humans unless they see their eyes. I tried to warn you. Are you alive over there?
The world came back into focus. The enderman wasn't standing over me. It was laying on the ground, an arrow in its back.
“Hey Raiko, how long was I out?” I asked.
Only a minute or so. A skeleton shot the enderman, then walked away. I think it was aiming for you, but hit the enderman instead. I don't know what exactly happened back there.
“I just realized that you can see even when I can't,” I said, “That's pretty cool.”
If you call nearly failing your mission to save your world “cool,” you really have changed since you lost your memory.
“Who's there?” I called out, “I know you shot this enderman! Where are you?”
It's futile. He clearly left as quick as he came. I sense villagers nearby. I had no idea villages existed in the Eternal Wilds. I suppose we should go there to spend the night.
Luckily, I managed to run in the direction Raiko told me to without running into any more night creatures. I supposed it was pure luck.
But when we arrived at the village, green humans were invading the village!
Zombies. Every night they try to turn villagers into their kind. They hate daylight, but it's night right now. Go to the smithy and see if there's any supplies.
I went into the blacksmith's shop and opened up a chest and found an iron chestplate and an iron sword.
Perfect. Save the people. They may reward you with some better gear.
I went outside and ran around the village, drawing all the zombies towards me.
What the heck are you doing? Why do you want the whole army coming towards you?
“I have a plan,” I said, “I saw a ravine back there. If these things are as brainless as they look, they'll fall in.”
I ran towards the ravine and jumped over, barely making it. Behind me, the zombies approached. Sure enough, they fell right in. I jumped back over and towards the village. One of the villagers approached me.
“You have saved our village,” he said, “More zombies are spawning, which means more people our dying. Coros is getting more and more powerful.”
“How do you know?” I asked.
“Coros's endermen,” he said, “They've been killing people nonstop, meaning that more zombies will spawn. Thank you for saving us. We have an empty home, if you'd like to stay here for the night.”
He showed me to the empty house, which had barely any space. There was just enough to put my bed next to the desk. I fell asleep, still thinking about the mysterious skeleton who had saved my life.
Where did he go?
I need some characters. Raiko and Jack aren't really enough. So, it's time for CHARACTER APPLICATIONS:
I have a character application:
Name: Onestep Assassin
Age: 17
Gender: Boy
Creature: Non-steve human
Bio: Onestep Assassin was born (Or you should say, spawned) into a family of skilled assassins, for the highest bidder. He was named Onestep Assassin because he was always one step ahead of his opponents. His family was killed by the person who they were working for, a person who was noctorus for his evil deeds. From that moment, Onestep Assassin was determined to seek vengeance and for the rights of good. Using his skills and exesuve amount of potions, he killed the person who killed his parents. After that, Onestep was not seen by many, as he was literally in the shadows, living a simple life of defeating evil when it lurked near thim, brewing, smelting, eating, etc. After defending a village from a massive zombie hoard, he actally met Jack, and struck up a friendship with him. When Jack went to the end and didn't come back, Onestep took matters into his own hands, going to the end and jumping into the eternal wilds.
Inventory: Iron Sword, (Sharpness II, Fire Aspect II), 20 Apples, Iron Helmet, Iron Boots, Crafting Table
Other: I just want to say that I want Onestep to find Jack in the Eternal Wilds around Chapter 5.

I am a second account...
But who...
I don't like fourm ranks. They make you feel powerful or dumb.
Creature (any mob except: Ender Dragons, Creepers, Horses, Withers, and Giants): Human
Bio (At least 5 sentences. This isn't amateur hour): Nexus was spawned in a village. He was skilled at the bow, especially considering he was spawned in a family of archers. Nexus swore to protect the village. Every night, Creepers and Zombies would invade the village. He took his bow and fired it at the invaders. The Iron Golems helped him fight off the Zombies and Creepers. He did that every night. Eventually, 2 zombies got into the village. When Nexus got back into the house, his parents were already gone. The 2 zombies were in the house. Nexus fired one arrow at both of them.
Inventory (Swords, Food, Armor, anything they'll have when they first meet Jack): Bow (Knockback II, Punch II), 30 arrows, iron chestplate, iron boots.

I still have a dumb reputation to live up to, don't think you'll not get a character from me for some time ;D
Name: Shiyalin
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Creature (any mob except: Ender Dragons, Creepers, Horses, Withers, and Giants): Human, however, a modified genetic version of them meant for ending battles swiftly.
Bio (At least 5 sentences. This isn't amateur hour): He was at first a newlyspawned, but just a few hours after, he was taken to be expirimented on, along with a few others. The people who took them were from a different dimension, (If possible, but if not, then.... blarhg) and they changed all of their DNA into a suped up version of regular humans, and trained them to be assassins.Their abilities include being able to run fast enough to jump an 8 block gap, they also have incredible stamina, and are able to walk up and across walls and ceilings. Anyway, continuing, one night, they all broke out, to try to see the world, but all but him and one other were captured and taken back, possibly killed for their treason.
They ran quite far, as the place they were in was really far from any other creature or human around. When they finally did find any civilization, they were nearly dead due to starvation, and what they found was a burning village, set on fire by Endermen. They salvaged all that they could, then went their seperate ways.
Inventory (Swords, Food, Armor, anything they'll have when they first meet Jack): A Rapier made out of steel infused with liquid diamonds, meant for piercing armor, and a diamond dagger that can cut through skin like it was paper, but it's ill used on metal armors. He also has 13 cooked steaks, and 5 water bottles and 3 empty ones, as he went through a long desert once. He also has a leather and steel assassin's garb, which gives as much as chainmail, but it's more durable.
Other: Have him come in a later chapter where the other characters are stronger than him I guess? Just so that he isn't as strong, and blasts through all the mobs.

But who...
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Other: Nothing, really
Thanks! I added to the story a bit.
Thanks!
P.S: Random Fact: I'm actaully MineBrick12, just using a alternate account because I forgot the password for my main one X_x
But who...
The people who took them were from a different dimension, (If possible, but if not, then.... blarhg) and they changed all of their DNA into a suped up version of regular humans, and trained them to be assassins. Their abilities include being able to run fast enough to jump an 8 block gap, they also have incredible stamina, and are able to walk up and across walls and ceilings.
