Prologue 140 years ago, long before equality was brought to the world, there was a great war between the Obsidian Empire and the Redstone Legion that was put to an end by the great crusader, Steve. He was determined as one of the three inevitable gods by humanity, for he was strong as a golem, smarter than a wizard, and contained the ability to follow the right path by visual clairvoyance.
During the end of the war, Steve was murdered by Mercedes, also known as the third son of King Achilles. Mercedes stole Steve's blade named Excalibur, and with his family's culture, he had the power of Ender. Mercedes transformed the Excalibur's adamant blade into the dark, scornful Enderblade, the deadliest weapon in the world. With the invincible mass-destructive weapon, Mercedes ruled the three kingdoms of the mainland, and brought humanity towards the brink of extinction.
The Obsidian Empire and Redstone Legion did nothing to stop Mercedes and his army of Ender beings, and it left every man for himself. This was the year that would’ve been the end of times.
Chapter 1: Tricks In the far land where war had not scorched before, there was a small town left in the western mainland. Fresh grass filled across the vast horizon, trees spread evenly across the lush fields, and flowers bloomed between the rocks and beyond the river. Across the stream, remnants of broken cobblestone lied upon the thick tall walls between the outside world and a civilization.Where the crops grew, there were farms. And besides these farms, lied ruined camps filled with helpless refugees from eastern mainland, where the Ender beings first encountered human life with death. There were terrified people, still shaking from the memories of the haunted paranormal beings appearing out of thin air.
A teenage citizen of western mainland runs up the grassy hill, curious of the new refugees from central mainland. He stopped and looked around him, seeing the dead and wounded with severe slices of burnt flesh and muscle.
"By the gods" he murmured. "When will they stop coming? This whole town is going to be filled..."In the distance beyond the road, armored men with swords and shields, walk closer to the camp with an angry and disappointed looking captain. The footmen halted, and the captain walked up to the encampment.
"Attention, all civilians and victims of Ender invasions!" the captain shouted. "You will be asked to leave the town tomorrow morning for evacuation of another possible Ender invasion. We will do whatever we can to lead you out of here, along with the rest."
Suddenly, a skinny and middle-aged man pushed against the crowd and in front of the squad."You're just like the rest of the civil protection!" He shouted with a distinguish voice.
"I don't know about the other refugees, but I'm not willing to leave the encampment to be slaughter by you beasts!"
The whole encampment gasped, worrying about the footmen taking them to an unknown location just to be killed for Ender food.
"Enough!" the captain pleaded loudly. "That's possibly the silliest thing to do in these times. Do you really think the Ender beings would gobble your remains? I don't even see how they could, with their void stomachs and toothless jaws."
The man turned around to the crowd."I've seen them-" he said. "They don't have any stomach or teeth. But they have sharp tooth-like skin that will devour your very soul, down into their endless pits, vaporizing every last drop of blood you spill!"The crowd scowled in terror, backing up slowly from the strange middle-aged man.
"Don't listen to him!" The captain yelled. "All we want is for you civilians to be held in the forest until the town is cleared of Ender beings, then we can all go back inside and wait for another week until they come back."
"But what about this-" the man pulled a round heavy bag out of his bindle. He unwrapped the bindings off the round figure, and held it by the hair.
The crowd screamed and gasped in terror, in sight of woman's bloody head, as it was cleanly cut from the neck. "This right here in front of your very eyes, was my loved one's head." he said, as his voice broke up into tears. "She was from the last group of refugees. I escaped the forest after what happened yesterday. You're telling me, captain, that these people are going to make it out of the forest safe and alive?"
It was quiet for a few moments. The wind blew silently across the wheat fields, brushing against their unharvested stems. Suddenly, the captain began laughing, and increasingly began to laugh louder, until he stopped, followed by a long pause.
"That is it." He demonically growled. The captain ripped out his gold sword quickly, and sliced through the skinny man's neck with a gushing sound of blood drawing out.The crowd screamed and scattered away from the encampment.
In the crowd, the teenage boy looked ahead and saw the footmen closing the gates to the outside. Just like a quick fox, he ran across the wheat field, distinguishing his skin from the crowd. He wondered to himself, did that really happen? Were the protectors of the town really killing off civilians from other parts of the mainland just to feed the Ender beings from coming into the town? He'd thought on and on, until suddenly the end of the fields came and the cobblestone wall came in contact with his delicate skin. A bright purple bruise was left on the chin of his face, leaving him on the cold dirt soil.
Chapter 2: Green Eyes The pink blossom withered while the furry yellow honey bee hovered away over the light grey landscape, where wooden homes stood behind the tall and dusty stone walls. Between those homes were hundreds of tall standing crops, ready to be harvested for the next coming winter. While the birds swayed over the vast crowd of people, hundreds of still bodies lied around the grass and roads, fading more and more into the inner roads of the town. The screaming refugees echoed in the boy's ears as his eyes blurred and focus at the small black ants that crawled along the dry road into their ant hole. It was only until then, that a thin and curvy shadow embraced over the boy's body, that the ant hole had been closed.
"A-are you okay?", the boy heard from a delicate and small voice.,
There along the road, he stood up slowly to the mysterious person. He rubbed his eyes, and opened them to see a young beautiful teenage girl, who had wore the sky blue dress of a young princess that glistened with an emerald necklace around her neck, with shoes that shined whiter than a music artist's grand piano.
"Um, hello?" the girl asked
He looked towards her sparkling green eyes and opened his mouth slowly. "H-hi, who are you?" He asked quietly.
Suddenly, a platoon of worn and dark footmen walked down the road with their shields raised in front, showing the red glistening cross of Nether. The Nether and it's armies of pigmen were one of the most dangerous in the universe. It was said that strikes of lightning from the three gods would electrify pigs, morphing their DNA with the massive amount of electrons given off, thus creating a mutation between man and pig. It was unknown how man would fall into the DNA of a pig, but it was a certain thing that the majority of mankind hunger among other species like pigs.
"I'm Asuna. I'm sorry for being rude, but right now is not the time for introductions!" She said. Asuna grabbed the boy's hand and pulled him into the corn fields and ran to the center. They both stopped in an open field and looked around. She looked down at an odd looking stick, and pushed it toward.
Suddenly, dirt fell down a circular passage. The stone under the dirt was a secret tunnel that lead into the darkness.
Asuna walked carefully down the slope. "Come on, it's going to close soon." She alerted.
The boy followed Asuna down into the small dark stone tunnel. He didn't know what he was doing, but he felt that it was right to follow the mysterious young girl. He had a warm feeling in his stomach, like a cup of warm chocolate on a cold snowy day.
