I awoke. A loud groan escaped me as I reached my hand up to my head. I was
laying face down on something.. soft. Opening my eyes I had to squint for the sunshine
was bearing down on me. Wait.. Sunshine? I suddenly became aware that I was outside,
and the soft thing I was laying on.. was sand. I stood up, shaking myself off when I
heard a loud and highpitched noise 'EEVEE!'
To my stood a very small looking Eevee. I frowned. Just the night before I was sleeping
peacefully in my bed without a care in the world.. and now here I was, laying on a river
bank with a pokemon that wouldn't go away. I grumbled something under my breath
about the now rather annoying eevee when I noticed a pokeball in my pocket. Taking
it out I stared at it, then looked over at the Eevee. I pressed the small button in the
middle of the ball and a red light flashed out, sucking the Eevee in and closing again in
my hand. Oh great. This thing was mine.
I looked around again, getting my bearings a bit. I was at the base of a hill.. so naturally
my first instict was to climb it to see better. Making my way to the top I noticed two
things.. one. There was a large desert to my right.. and two.. there was a small village
to my left. I decided to take the better option and hopped off toward the village.
The people there were.. unusual. They had large noses and spoke in a language I couldn't
understand. But after fixing some of their roads, ( really what kind of people did they hire to make these? ),
they let me take some of their stuff and crops. With my fresh new boots and food I
set off to find some materials for me to use later.
I walked through the forest for awhile when I found an apricorn tree.. I knew what they
were for but I wasn't sure if I could use them yet.. but I grabbed it anyway. I would
need it at some point. After what seemed like hours of gathering wood and avoiding giant
pokemon.. the sun started to fall and I started to make my way back to where the village was.
To my dismay, I got lost. But I soon found an even bigger village. Everyone seemed to
be asleep so I quietly stowed away in the the smelters workshop. I even made him a
door and a crafting bench. Getting curious, I looked in his chest and saw some items I
couldn't pass up..
I decided to end the night here with my new pokemon, who I've decided to call Spazz
until further notice.. it liked to jump around a lot and hurt itself. It was annoying.. but still.. It was kinda cute..
