Every pixel a king, two things pleased him the most: order in his kingdom and striking down disorderly places. He sent a public notice to everyone that someone's fate was to be decided in the arena if a crime had such significance. The person chose one door and either a relentless creeper or a beautiful lady selected carefully for this purpose. Sought after were the most explosive creepers containing the best ratio of gunpowder to sand and the fairest maidens of Minecraftia, their beauty rivaling that of a diamond. If the criminal chose the creeper, he would die after a most terrible hissing sound resonated throughout the arena. However, if he chose the lady, he would be married to that lady on the spot. Children would scatter flower petals for the newlyweds to walk on and leave the arena to start anew. Before the criminal made his choice, the note block choir played an ominous tune and the crowd would hold its breath.
Athena, Steve's only child, rejected every man's offers of his love until she met Nico, only a common miner. Instantly they fell in love and kept it a secret. However, King Steve found out, confronted Athena about it, and told Nico to report to the arena the next day. Athena, not her usual level-headed self, threw herself onto her bed and sobbed.
"What am I going to do?" she asked before crying herself to sleep that night. On the day Nico's fate was to be decided, the crowd looked shocked. What had this miner done? Athena knew very well what was behind each door. Either way, Nico would never return. Steve would dispose of him either to death or to the woman she hated, whom she knew was behind one of the doors. The sonorous song rang loud and clear. Nico stepped forward, fully cognizant of the crime he commited. He pushed a stone button. The pistons retracted. Out stepped a lady clad in hues of red and gold. Blushing and triumphant, she took Nico's hand and they walked across a trail of rose petals. The sweet, floral aroma, upbeat melody from the note block choir, and cheering from the crowd grew too much for Athena to bear.
She stepped down into the arena. King Steve held back his protests. The crowd watched intently. The note block choir did not strike a single note. The very sky seemed to darken. Athena pressed the stone button. The pistons retracted.
The fact that you totally took this from the Lady or the Tiger? makes me say wow. :l
Can't really say it's a Minecraft spin-off because all you did was replace the king with Steve and the tiger with the creeper. What I'm saying is this: I'd prefer if you totally gave me a big twist on this rather than leaving me the same ending of the original story. At least then, this would have some kind of originality. This is almost (or maybe is) plagiarism.
