He opened his eyes and gazed down at the world in all its beauty. He saw the glints of the structures built by the empires of man. Great cities, Gardens, and below all that was an enormous stockpile of weapons that kept the world from falling into the brink of war. The uneasy peace held by these great weapons could not last, now the world was falling apart...
A metallic voice interrupted his thoughts. "Sir, the peace has been broken on the borders of the Anos and Stoll."
He turned away from the windows of his ship and gazed at the radio, "Is this confirmed?" He asked.
"Affirmative, casualties are growing." The strange voice replied. He sighed and turned back towards the window, he pulled a dark red bottle from under his seat. The situation had been stirring for years. Little skirmishes, testing new weapons... But now there would be no peace, Man had assured himself of that.
He took the bottle and examined it. The label read '5 S.S. Vintage." He shook his head as he pulled the cap off and took a sip; it had a bitter taste, but after a second, it turned harshly sweet then of course, it burned the rest of the way down. He looked back towards the window and saw small explosions across the part of the planet he was over.
He took a long draught from the bottle and thought of his world. He had more right to it then most of those. He winced as the drink burned down his throat. Sharp little blasts cover the ground as the planet turned giving him a new image. The Frontier was a massive area covering most of the other side of the planet. Full of castoffs and refugees it was the one place left unscathed.
He had worked there on occasion, working as a scientist devoted to understanding his world. He had trailed many discoveries and found inklings of Void energy. If he had been smart he would have stopped his research instantly, but of course, he didn't. He continued on, finding how the energy bound everything together, How to manipulate it to make the universe twist to his demands.
The first binding had been a disaster! The explosion had shook Terra, buildings had fallen and cities had been wrenched apart. Overall not many people had died; but ever country had come to the blast site and started making their own conclusions. Within months, three more labs had been destroyed by unsuccessful bindings, yet the empire of man could not be stopped.
He too was vulnerable and kept testing with the energy. He quickly found how to bind things successfully; his first ship went into orbit less than a year after the first binding. When it landed, he found that its occupant, a small dog, had survived the journey. He released his findings to the world at large about his ships capabilities. He expected to be revered for his discoveries. Instead, every major religion named him as the enemy.
The servants of the Fallen god led the movement naming him a heretic and a demon. They destroyed all the work he sent out, barely stopping from physical harm. They cut off his funds and resources dubbing him untouchable by anyone. Still he persevered. The metallic voice abruptly cut into his thoughts again "The frontier have launched their Missiles at the Anos and the Stoll." 'Peace could not exist in this world... It was beyond their capabilities.' He though to himself.
He took another draught from his bottle as he watched flaming ships of his own design fly out of the atmosphere from the frontiers silos. The planet turned to give him a view of what he had done. The missiles fell onto the land and sea, exploding in large clouds of fire. Terra was being destroyed by its creation; what could the servants of the fallen god do about that?
As more missiles exploded, he shielded his eyes. As soon as the flashes had dissipated, he called out to the computer. "Report."
"Apologies..." The metallic voice replied after a minute. "Eastern Memory circuits damaged." A pause. "Booting western circuits... Anos have been decimated. The Stoll... Obliterated." He looked back at the surface in time to see the smoke clearing. Below all the Stoll land appeared a gash on the surface of Terra.
He sighs, and reaches for the bottle. It was half-empty. As he drank his eyes glistened. He looked down He shouldn't be here. This ship shouldn't exist. The servants of the fallen god had realized he was running and had charged his laboratory. Seconds sooner and they would have caught him. A minute later and they would still be alive.
As he passed over the Anos territories again he saw more missiles raising from the surface like vengeant deities. They flew at the Frontier, but they were poorly made; half of them exploded midflight. As he watched their flight paths, he saw a glimmer of a ship. As in the beginning there had been eight placed by the founders. Now too there were eight riding out the storm protected.
They would survive. The metallic voice came over again but with an extreme amount of static. An-s obliterated... Frontier survives!" Before dying out in a cloud of static. He sighed then flicked a switch on it killing the static. "The worst is over," he said. "Now I will finish it." He directed a TNT burst behind his ship and maneuvered over the frontier.
His ship was quickly reclaimed by Terra’s gravity. As he fell, he thought about the other ship. He had cast quite a burden upon their shoulders. He hoped they never forgave him for what happened next.
He took his bottle and brought it to his lips and a tear fell from Steve's face. He closed his eyes as his ship landed, Then hit the button beside him, as his ship exploded destroying the frontier. Steve felt naught but peace.

Anos? Stoll? The Frontier?;
THese three countries would be mimicing the way human civilization spread across our own world... It completely wrapped itself around a few spots before ever getting to the other area. In this only three actual countries developed.
Where did they come from? (Countries);
Stoll would be based off of europe, Anos would be based off of China, The frontier would be base off the americas but banded together.
Is this all for this universe?;
I don't actually know might might not.
Void energy?;
Ah... Can't actually tell you because i might use that sorry.
Thanks for reading, Love feedback.
