I don't really know how I arrived in this place. One moment I was on an errand for my mother, and the next I was here. Everything seems so different from where I came from... What was that city called? I've forgotten. How do you forget the name of the city you have grown up in? Everything in this world is strange. The colors are too bright, and darks are too dark. It's almost like I'm in a painting or picture of some sort. Anyways I've been in this world for some time now. I stumbled across a small cave with a storage thing inside. I found this book, a feather, and some ink. I've decided to write down whatever happens out here... My goal is to figure out how I got here, and who I am.
Day One
After I left the cave I walked on, following the sun. I didn't know what else to do, so I wandered. I swam across a small river into a forest with tall looming trees. I judged the time to be about 12:00, from the sun, so I decided to rest. As I sat down in the forest I heard a soft 'tink'. Like that of metal hitting rock. I followed its source until I came upon someone like me, pounding away at the side of a hill, tearing huge chunks of stone out of it. I watched him for a minute, until I worked up the nerve to approach him. I walked out of the forest, and said "Hello!". He whipped around, clearly startled, and pulled a sword out of nowhere and pointed it at me. I raised my hands to show that I meant no harm, and he spoke out to me. You have no idea how nice it is to hear another human's voice after hours of solitude.
"What are you doing?", he asked me.
"I... I... I don't exactly know... What is this place?"
The man balanced on his toes, getting a look at the forest behind me.
"You alone?"
"Yeah..."
He looked at the book I was holding.
"What's that?"
I glanced down at the book, empty at the time, and replied;
"Just a book... That I've found in a cave... But that doesn't matter. Who are you and what is this place?"
He looked behind me again, furrowed his brows and said;
"You need to leave, now, before someone hostile finds us. Go."
"But I don't understand..."
"GO!"
I turned away from him then and started running back where I had come from. I heard him shouting at me as I ran.
"Don't trust anyone and don't show yourself! You're lucky you found someone like me! Don't ever..."
I couldn't make any more words out. From what I did hear, I can suspect that this world is not anything like where I came from. Here, the rules are different, and if I want to survive, I need to follow the rules... But what are the rules?
Day Two
I can not believe I have survived long enough to write this. The sun has just began rising, and it is the best friend anyone could wish for. The night started out peacefully. I had arranged my belongings under a small overhang jetting out from a cliff. I got settled, and drifted away to sleep, not a care or worry in the world. I woke up to a foul smell. Something was standing over me, grunting and making terrifying sounds. It bent down and put its face to mine and I froze with terror. This thing's skin was rotted, peeling away in places. What clothes the thing had on were torn and shredded to fragments. I ran like I've never ran before in my life.
I climbed a tree and watched as the foul green things tried to clamber and claw their way up to me. I spent the entire night watching these things hop over each other and scream in their bloodthirsty conquest. The sun rose, and I got an even better look at these things. They were mutated humans. They looked like the zombies I used to watch in the movies. I won't ever forget that night. The sun, which is my everlasting friend, burnt those things to ashes. All that remained were bits of clothes and some rotting flesh here and there. I got away from that place quickly. I followed the trampled path the zombies took chasing me, and eventually got back to my cave with my book, ink, and quill in a neat order.
Day Three
I survived another night. I couldn't sleep much, under the fact that I was sleeping in a tree and used to the comfy warm beds back home. But I managed. The zombies gathered around my tree again and stayed there for hours, keeping me up until my friend rose and ended them. That leaves two nights without sleep. I need a shelter if I want to survive in this world.
I climbed down the tree clumsily, wishing that I had some tools and stuff like that person I had met. Did he have a shelter? How does he handle the zombies? I guess I'd have to find him and ask, but the welcoming party wouldn't be as nice as it was last time. He seemed very agitated and nervous. He was worried about something happening. I guess I'll never know. But back to the matter at hand, shelter. I'll put down my pen now, and search for something so wall up this cave. I would need light so I wouldn't be in total darkness. I need to survive. No. Not just survive, I need to thrive too.
This is a minecraft book that I am currently working on. Please tell me your thoughts so I know if I am doing well or if I'm doing just terrible. If I get some people that say I'm doing good ill put more days into my book and post it. also, if you find any grammar errors or misspells, please let me know.

Good, maybe the beginning italicized part could be longer and more detailed...
