There were Sectional Moderators for the Literature section once, even before it was the Literature section. I think Jesonomi was a really active one, and even created a "Minecraft Story List" to compile some stories, though that was eventually discarded. Yodud3333 was also one. Both of them, funnily enough, were also writers. Perhaps we can vote for another writer to become Sectional Moderator. Perhaps . . . a writer whose username starts with a "K" . . . and ends with an "L" . . . and whose avatar is Dragonslayer Ornstein the Lion from Dark Souls . . .
In all seriousness, though, I'd think Farteh16 would be a good Sectional Moderator of the Literature section, if anyone, since he's helped it out so much with "Minefic" and helped to create the section in the first place. Though maybe one of the other ones or an entirely new could appear at some point. Who knows?
Feel free to leave your comments. Or criticisms, I suppose, if they're constructive. Almost anything really, unless it's an outright threat. In that case I'd prefer you put it in a private message.
There actually was a Show Your Creations moderator, Koumus, who closed a topic in this Literature section not too long ago, due to it being speculation about the existence of Herobrine. So, there are moderators watching the Literature section, although they don't seem to be so strict that they wouldn't allow a little off-topic banter. Maybe they're just not very talkative?

I saw that, too. It seemed like the Moderator thought the thread was actually claiming that Herobrine existed, and wasn't a story. That leads me to think that they weren't a Moderator from the Literature subsection, but a Moderator from some other section of the Minecraft Forums who stumbled upon the thread and didn't realize what it was.
. . . Perhaps they're simply wayward deities, interfering in the dealings of mere mortals such as us only when it pleases them.

You wouldn't want me to be a handler of responsibility. If I am a Moderator, I'd feel the writer's part of me to pay attention to the stories and watch over stuff, since I've been there and I understand but I am also a teenager with many internal conflicts and the "made-sense-at-the-moment-but-now-looks-silly" mood swings. Plus I have to work on my grades and enjoy life.
But I think someone similar to me could be a Moderator for Lit. I'm not keen on it being me because I do not have much attention left to give with my life running circles around me and stuff.

Yeah, I can see how being a Sectional Moderator could be taxing to your real life. perhaps it's simply better the Literature subsection has no Sectional Moderator. Honestly, there isn't even all that much to use Moderator powers for here except pinning important things and deleting spam.
Also, I was wrong about the other two Moderators. There titles are now "Retired Staff", so I'm not sure if there is a Sectional Moderator or not.
Hullo, I'm back from wherever I went! It's school, yeahhh... Anyway, are we voting for Sectional Moderators now?
Well, I made my vote. But yeah, as I said above, there really isn't a lot of need for Sectional moderators here. Except perhaps to limit the post inflation due to spam conversations, but that's part of the fun.

Pinning would be nice. Could have Minefic: Legacy up there...
I thought they moved that there and locked it.

Being a sectional moderator means that you'll moderate a whole section.
Literature is a sub-section for the Show Your Creation section, which comprehends many other sub-sections (Screenshots, Let's Play, Other Videos, Shop/Requests, Fan Art, etc).
So basically, we have many sub-sections to watch, and that's why we may not be much effective in all of the sub-sections. Furthermore, we don't have many mods in this section.
When writing about Herobrine, people tend to say "Based on real facts",and that's a problem. That's why we need a disclaimer in a case like this.
Because we have no moderators to tell us not to...
Yes you have
And if you want to know more about the moderators of this section or even the whole forum, take a look at the Staff List thread, in Forum Discussion & Info section.

Oh we are talkative
But it takes a lot of time to moderate this section, plus I'm always moderating while I'm at work, and at night I go to college. We are not "wayward deities" like Kasparal said
Not much time left to chat or read topics. Most of time here is dedicated for moderation :x
As for off-topic, not much here since this is an Interactive topic, and I'm replying to your questions regarding this section.

As for pinning threads, Minefic: Legacy seems like a nice thread, but it needs the approval of an admin. Let's see what can be done
Ah. I see. I understand now that you're Sectional Moderator of the entire "Show Your Creations" section. The "wayward deities" thing was joke, but in all honesty I didn't even realize the "Show Your Creations" section had a Sectional Moderator.
As for your idea of requiring a disclaimer on all Herobrine stories in the Literature subsection, I still think it really isn't necessary if they don't deliberately try to mislead readers. But there are other actions you could take to improve the Literature subsection. For example, pinning Minefic: Legacy would probably be a good decision to improve it's accessibility, if you can get approval for it.
Complaints and suggestions aside, however, I will say that it's nice to know we have at least one Moderator looking at the Literature subsection.

I'm not going to encourage hope that this will be continued, but I will try to find time and inspiration. Anyways, the second chapter will take place in another setting so you aren't really missing out on anything. Several elements from the first book as well as all the names will be "reborn" as generally the same characters but modified to fit their roles in the new setting.
I'll try to think of something in the future, but for now I am busy and I am recovering from the feels of watching Clannad. My deepest apologies if people are let down by my negligence and supposed abandonment of this thread.

So I will NEVER POST A STORY EVER AGAIN!
I mean... I'll get to it. In a few months. XD
No, really, my imagination is kind of worn out...
