I was thinking three spots yes.
It would be based on number of votes still.
Have no idea what prizes could be...
First reaction to finding diamonds maybe?
What if we gave reputation prizes? But then everyone already has so much reputation anyway it probably wouldn't really matter. Maybe their prize could just be they get immortalized on this thread on a "Winner's List" spoiler? I don't know.
Feel free to leave your comments. Or criticisms, I suppose, if they're constructive. Almost anything really, unless it's an outright threat. In that case I'd prefer you put it in a private message.

I was thinking of finding someone to do banners for the winners, Based on the theme of the week.

I was thinking of 'immortalization' and a drawing at the end of the year with all the winner's names for a 'Winner of the YEAR!' banner.
Not sure if that makes sense currently; still very, very, sluggish and tired. And sleep is beconing ((I'm going to leave that typo just so you can see how tired I am. XD)) me like the ocean to a starved penguin/a cliff to a homicidal maniac that has no weapons and wants to keep his hands clean but has someone in custody and, therefore, must use the cliff itself.
What a pleasant simile!

Seems interesting, Though we would still need people to make the banners.
Not just one person.
Overworking is bad.

I made a banner for my last story, and I didn't even use MyBannerMaker.com. That's how pro I am. Just kidding :P, I'm sure there are at least a few good banner artists here.

PS: Yes, ONE PERSON! That'd make them ultra-famous. Having 12 people PER YEAR prancing around (less if one person wins more than one, which is likely because we have a certain writer here with us) is not going to make people think of them as famous. It's like winning a school beauty pageant, sure, the two hundred kids that actually go to those stupid things know you now, but they don't care if you won because those things are so commonplace that anyone has a chance of winning. If we cut it back to once a year (people who win more than once/year gets their name in the... jar? The number of times that he/she won.) people will revere the ground that they walk on.
Trust me, I'm tired right now. All my mind does currently is think of random things that actually work.
Like that ^.

It would be twenty four. But the top one would be chosen from a new drawing from a i don't know
Longer batch of stories maybe?
K so how about this?
2 winners a month.
24 winners a year.
The twenty four Number #1 winners are put in a new contest.
Like 2000-8000 word contest. (So it is harder.)
Then the Winner of that gets a Hall of fame deal along with whatever prizes we have scraped up by then.

P.S; Seems kind of hunger games to me.
What if all the participants got acknowledged in the list of winners? But their names were regular and the winner of each weeks contest was bold, or something like that to distinguish them from the winners. And then you could put the final winner at the top of that. For example:

Well, unlike you guys and me, I guess you guys expect teens to have improper grammar and an 11 year old has to be pin point perfect, or else the universe will rip apart and be destroyed completely. Again. Which is weird, because I wouldn't have remembered that from said universe.

P.S.: Thank me for the grinches ;). Also, does Mr. Enderman's heart grow two sizes at Christmas time?
P.P.S.: Should I change my profile picture? Maybe to a more realistic ninja? Something cooler maybe?
What now?

PS: Two hours of sleep after staying up for almost 22 hours straight = me not coherent. At all. XD

Ah. That's a good idea too. And that reminds me, I need to make a banner for Dark Aether! Why do i keep forgetting to do that?

You know what's funny? Whenever I use improper grammar in order to make a joke/whatever, I end up not getting criticized.
O_o
