That's the burden of being a creative person, I suppose. One can always see multiple solutions to vague problems.
ne'er fear i finished it.
It is slightly short though...
around 280 words.
Based on these three words; Frost, darkness, and solitude.
I woke suddenly, fear spreading through my mind. My hands were bound behind my back, and I could see clouds of mist forming in front of me. "Is that my breath?" I thought, my brain wrought with confusion. "Where am I?"
I shook myself and surveyed the area through a tint that the eerie dim light had cast o'er my supposed final resting place. I pulled my legs close to the rest of my body forming a fetal position.
For a second the icy breeze cut off and I was thankful. I glanced around the chamber again and made out the walls. I winced, distracting myself as my hands popped their joints going over my knees.
I brought them up before my eyes, and laughed incredulously. On my hands was a silk ribbon with a red bow holding it together. I bit the ribbon with my teeth and flexed my fingers to restore the blood flow.
I laughed softly "This must be a prank!" I said to myself. But a cold wind blew from behind me, as if stating I was wrong. I brought myself up from the floor and walked to the doorway.
I stopped before I stepped through it, something nagged at my brain, teasing information that I should remember. I shook my head and strode confidently forth.
I stepped forwards and found myself in an enormous cavern. From the ceiling down I saw thousands of creatures milling about.
Even worse I heard a popping noise and looked around only to find myself completely surrounded by spawners. I let out a cry as a diamond sword appeared in my hand; it looks like I will have to fight!
Also i think that if you won the last first place you can't win this time but get an honorary spot instead.
The time after that though you are able to enter. Good addition?

I will just name the characters in Neil Gaiman's Sandman. Love that graphic novel. What about desire, death, destruction, dream, despair, delirium, destiny... No? What about illusions, empowerment, capitalism? Um... Balance of good and evil? Am I even naming themes now? Why am I asking myself these questions?Oh! Isolation? Home? Judgement? Fortune? Deception? Betrayal? Power? Hope? Faith? Survival? Coming of age?

"The best people are completely mad." -The Mad Hatter (or something like that)I also have a question. I found that on the first page, that the only winner there was Kasparal and I remember that I won the first contest... How come mine isn't there? Like, not to sound rude or mean or anything, just wondering.
