One day I decided to play Minecraft, I opened up the client. Everything was normal. Except I had a message I've never seen before below the normal Minecraft title screen. It said, "Haunted." It didn't seem strange until I found out more. So, I generated a new world. It was a normal generation. Trees, tall grass and mountains. I always believed Herobrine and everytime I heard one noise I would block my self in dirt. So I went on built a house started mining. On the third day. I heard a noise, the normal cave noise that apparently "Herobrine" uses. I was scared senseless. I blocked my self in dirt. I got up, got a can of coke. Then I came back. There was no dirt . I thought, maybe just some lag and the dirt disappeared. The soundtrack changed to the creepy running thing with the breathing. The dirt broke, and I was watching. My eyes went wide open. There was a sign.
It said, "Why do you hide?" You have no idea how scared I was. I broke the sign and replaced it with a sign that said, "Who are you?" I went to sleep (Real Life). In the morning I awoke and went on to my single player survival world. The sign changed to, "You tell me." I wondered why it wanted me to tell what it is. I broke the sign. Replaced with a sign that said, "What do you mean?". The sign it placed said, "You said you would never forget me." I thought back to when I was 8, I met a boy named Jake. He just moved from Canada to Australia. We became best friends. I remember the day it happened. We were at the lake we were swimming we just got out and went over to dry our selves. I heard him scream. I ran to him he was lying on the ground with a snake slithering away. I saw bite marks. I asked him if he thought it was poisonous. He replied yes. Later that day I was sitting next to him in hospital. Just before he died he passed me a code. A Minecraft Code. He said, "Never forget me." I was shocked. at this point.
I placed down a sign that said, "I'm sorry I broke our promise." The sign he placed said, "Now since you broke our promise, I haunt your minecraft world."
Peezzeer & Doomwalker the thing is that this 'promise ' was from real life then the 'ghost' placed signs talking to him and the promise well thats what the friend said.his friend said: never Forget me and the sign said: you promised you would never forget me! so the ghost was his friend!!!
