Oooh! Really? I mean, blackrose is here. Nearly everyone here is a boy and everyone here is older than me. Even blackrose! If someone were 10 and was here, I'd be happy. My brother comes on sometimes, but I don't think he counts himself as a writer. More like a gamer or a cartoonist. Or something.
You're how old!? I was making guesses that you were, like, 15...

Well, not really a 'friend' just imaginary, and he beats stuff up. and is immortal. and has a concentrated supernova for the blade of his sword.... I've said too much, YOU MAY NOT LOOK INTO MY THOUGHTS!
This is a really interesting idea. I'm sure you've heard that much already but the entire concept of the best writers in the forum all writing one story together is really intriguing. I'm surprised no one has though of this before. Probably because there's never been as strong a community of writers as there is right now. Even still, it's pretty ambitious. For future reference, are you still considering people for this?
Feel free to leave your comments. Or criticisms, I suppose, if they're constructive. Almost anything really, unless it's an outright threat. In that case I'd prefer you put it in a private message.

Thanks! Yes, I am still accepting people if that's what you mean

That is what I was asking. Because this is the kind of collaboration I actually want to read, and, if possible, write. What I was wondering was, is the application process like first-come-first-serve or is each person evaluated on the quality of their story? And if I were to apply, perhaps when my story is longer, would I have any chance? Thanks for replying to my first message, by the way!

Well, it is both first come, first serve and evaluated individually. Normally I look at two or three and accept one. So far, I have two and I'm still deciding. My friend is also applying, too. COMPLICATONS ARE FUN!

So then I could theoretically just apply any time? Good to know. I'll have to prepare an application though.

My story, still new, does not have three protagonists yet, but is planned to. I would love to apply, for this sounds like a fun, interesting new mash, and I don't want to miss this opportunity. Should I wait until my story is longer? The thing is, how much time do I have left, because I'm doing character apps so chapter 3 won't be out until after July 1st.
It doesn't need to have three protagonists. I'm actually just doing one, I'm using the main character. Maybe I'll use Corone too, because he is just plain awesome. If sc1020 allows me though.
Name of Character(s) Wanted to be Featured:Duke Vikram Capra of the House of Capra, Duke of Saffron
Description of said Character:Vikram Capra is the son of the wealthy and industrious noble Duke Edward Capra, and lives on his estate on a comet orbiting the moon Saffron III. He is an incredibly good marksman, owing to years of practice, knows a great deal of useless academic information, has a lot of money and is very skilled with fixing and creating Redsteam technology (not sure if that even exists in Rift ). He is courageous, admittedly somewhat flamboyant and knows a lot about diplomacy from his father. He is in possession of a few items of note, including his own Aethership to travel through space, a broken device that allows time travel which he eventually fixes and an assortment of Redsteam tools (not sure how/if these will factor into Rift). To sum him up in a phrase, he is a scientist-aristocrat.
Synopsis (like a book jacket summary):Duke Vikram Capra lives a luxurious, carefree life on an estate built by his father, Duke Edward Capra, on a comet orbiting the moon Saffron III in a solar system of the Aether colonized by the great human Empire. He spends his days and nights studying academics, practicing his marksmanship, socializing with the wealthy daughters of duchesses over bottles of fine wine and creating clockwork gadgets in his laboratory. But his enjoyable and routine existence is interrupted by the arrival of a spectral projection of a man at his estate, a man who claims to be a messenger from the future. The man gives him a broken clockwork device, claiming it is a machine that allows one to travel through time, and tells him he must fix it and find the fabled "Clockwork Archives", where he will find a device that will save the world from a void that seeks to consume it. He departs unexpectedly without further explanation, and the young Vikram is skeptical of his claims. But as dark and dangerous forces make themselves known in pursuit of the device, he begins to believe the man's story and realize the full implications of his task: if he is to find the "Clockwork Archives", he will not only have to travel through space, but through time.
How many stories and/or fanfictions have you wrote before this one?:Many. I entered one in a writing contest at my school. I've only posted three that I can think of right now to forums though, one to the Terraria Forums and two, including the one I'm currently writing, to the Minecraft Forums.
