The sun peeks out to start a brand new day.
I look and see the blocks to move around.
A cave reveals itself so dark and gray.
Approach, but then I hear a monstrous sound.
Deep down I know there lies great perils deep
Abandoned mine shafts vast and very old
Deep down, ravines where magma rivers seep
I know my spirit must be brave and bold
Should I succeed in climbing down such height
I face foul monsters closing for the kill
For though my light can only shine so bright
I know what drives my fight, my steady will
For when I take my trusty pick to mine
I know I'll find some diamond that will shine.

I've been meaning to write a Minecraft sonnet for a while now, it turned out pretty well.
