The Eye Project series os of some enjoyment to you guys. But much remains unexplained. As Shadows of Reality slowly looms towards the final battle, short stories will be revealed. It will explain Herobrine and what in the world happened to get Steve in this mess in the first place. So far, 2 stories have been released.
Shortly after Steve entered the world of Minecraft, Herobrine was, in fact, trapped. A
man called "Black Thumb" Johnson interviewed him. Herobrine was trapped in an obsidian room with walls coated in a thin layer of bedrock. Herobrine couldn't teleport through. Through a microphone and speaker, Johnson was able to communicate with Herobrine until an "incident" happened while running some tests. Here's what was picked up on the audio file:
Johnson: Hello, Herobrine. We're going to ask you a few simple questions. Remain calm, because we can electrocute this entire room.
Herobrine: Who-? Wha-? How are you talking to me? Why can't I teleport out?
Johnson: We're asking you a few questions so maybe we can stop your reign of terror without killing you. Anyways, first question: Why do you enjoy chaos so much?
Herobrine: It's not as much enjoying it as just being... ah, what's the word? Satisfied! Satisfied, yes. I feel hungry much of the time. Unless chaos is unleashed, I feel empty.
Johnson: OK, good to know. Moving on! Second question: What is the origin of your power?
Herobrine: I... don't know. I woke up one day in a forest. It was very long ago. I saw some sheep and wished to shear them. I didn't have any items, but when I thought about the shears, they appeared in my hand. To continue my theory, I wished for a helmet. There it was, right on my head. I also realized I had the ability of flight when I fell into a ravine but caught myself in midair.
Johnson: Odd, but very useful. This information will be able to help us. Third question: Why do you seek control with the chaos?
Herobrine: For the same reason as the chaos. I feel... empty when I am not in control of everyone.
Johnson: Ok, we're going to run a few tests. We may be able to drain your powers and remove this crazy emptiness feeling. It may hurt a little, so brace yourself.
Herobrine: Wait, no! No, no, no, no, no! AUAGHAHIAHAHAIAIUAAH!
Johnson: Do you feel any different?
Herobrine: You thought you removed my powers...
Herobrine: But you only made them stronger! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Johnson: The machinery! It's overheating! Herobrine, stop that! You'll mutate the both of those if you let loose that many volts! Stop! Stop! Sto-
The last thing heard on the audio file is an electric crackle. Herobrine escaped and Johnson disappeared. However, a notebook was left where Johnson last stood. All the pages where ripped out, but this symbol was found on the front:

One of the greatest mysteries in Minecraft is the Void. What is its purpose? Why is it there? People ask themselves these questions many times. Here is one of the legends, traced back to the Corrupted War era.
The Devil-Man was losing the war. Notch's army was killing the corruptions faster than he created them. He had a plan. Many of the bases for Notch's army were hidden underground. If he were to make some trap that could kill everyone underground, he could defeat Notch's army.
He would need help. He went to the one person he could trust to make this work: Nethros. As Nethros was a force of good, the Devil-Man went in disguise. The Devil-Man planned to give this ability to Nethros using one of his creations.
It was called the Magic Mask. It looked like a white player head, but when someone put it on, they could transform into any life form they had ever seen. Nethros accepted the gift and agreed to help the Devil-Man create this trap (he had said he needed to get rid of a hidden cavern of creepers.
Nethros created a rift between the Nether and the Overworld. A dark, empty place with no air. Anyone to enter would quickly suffocate. However, the rift started too deep down. Nethros had sealed it with Bedrock.
The Devil-Man was infuriated. His disguise wore off and he attempted to fight Nethros. He almost won until Aethros came in and aided Nethros. Together they sent the Devil-Man back to the Nightmare Realm.
Sounds really cool! At first, I thought: "Ah, another cool story by sc1020." I wasn't that THAT excited in the beginning. Reading the whole thing until the end: "NEVER UNDERESTIMATE SC1020. 'NUFF SAID." He he he. Cool seeing a lemniscate, or the infinity sign, in your work. It adds a mystical, wanting to know how it ends up, feeling to your readers. CONTINUE! 'Nuff said.

The reason I created this was originally for the short stories, but I realized that I don't have many overflow pages for my fanfiction. Manipulation is gonna be really long, so I figured I needed an overflow thread. I don't think I'll need it for Shadows of Reality as much.
Cool! I like the Void's Origin, but the Interview with Herobrine is still my favorite. The Magic Mask reminds me of "Mirrormask," if you know the movie. To explain what it is would need to be watching the movie, which is quite weird. He he he. Another great job and if you got a dollar for every pat on the back and thumbs up you got... Wow. Me want to see next story, NOW! He he. I like it better when it is as long as the Herobrine's Interview so it has more content and story and not just being narrated. Good job anyways.

Yeah, I just changed it to stories. Shorter than usual but longer than short. He he he. I think that is what I'm comfortable with. I'm not very good at summarizing at the point that I don't write details. I get messed up. He he he.

It is frustrating to write on a mobile phone! Do not judge me, foul creature of doom that is not foul but an awesome writer and stuff and rhabarber.
