What's up people. I am starting a fan fiction for minecraft based off the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.
Okay so we are going to need some tributes. I am accepting the first 12 people who apply, but in all there will be 24 tributes in all. The 12 tributes sent in will be more mentioned then the other 12 I make up. Also the first 12 tributes sent in will have a better chance of winning, and more story time depending on their application.
This is how you are going to set up your application as a tribute:
EXAMPLE:
Name: Cheese Fry
Age: (Between 12-18) 14
Notice: The age doesn't matter really. Different ages will have advantages. So don't always choose 17 or 18.
District: (I'll get to those, don't you worry)
Talents: Good with Animals
Bad Sides: Clumsy (Yes you must have a bad side of your character.)
Back story: Cheese Fry is an only child and works on a farm.... *blah blah*. The back story/bio of the character must be at least 3-5 sentences.
DISTRICTS:
District 1. Mining - More of a rich district. Caves are full of luxuries like sparkling diamonds. Players are taught good ways to mine efficiently.
District 2. Building - Valuable bricks and blocks are at hand always. Players are taught good strategies to build good bases in short amounts of time.
District 3. Redstone - Redstone mines are at every corner. Players are taught to make traps with various redstone items.
District 4. Ocean - Made up of small islands surrounding one big island. Players are taught to swim excellently and to boat and fish.
District 5 Plains - The Plains district is abundant with animals. There is ample food to eat all the times. Players are enslaved to slaughter animals for hours each day.
District 6 Farming - Players can obtain rare fruits and veggies. They know how to plant each veggie or fruit the right way and secrets to make the plants grow fast.
District 7 Nether - Houses here are made of netherbrick. Players train against wither skeletons, ghasts, and pig zombies every day to make them extremely buff.
District 8 Desert - Players are poor and they learn to live off the land. They usually know the secrets to living off the land.
District 9 Jungle - Players live in thick brushes and master the art of hiding and speed.
District 10 - Snow - Players live in extreme cold and learn how to build things with ice. Golems guard the whole town.
District 11 - Climbing - Players climb huge mountains without any harnesses. They master this in record time, hopping from ledge to ledge

CHAPTER 1 Jake Hoffman and Diane Winda Chase POV
COMPLETELY FINISHED
COMPLETELY FINISHED
Jake Hoffman's POV. Jake was sitting in the alley fiddling with the redstone he had stolen from those idiots. The Reaping Day was creeping in, and Jake was ready. They would put him in the drawing for sure. Everyone knew him, not in a good way. Rich kids would pass by the alley and say "What's up Hobo!" or "Hey Loner" and walk off giggling. Little did they know that he was creating traps. Hidden behind an old broken down furnace was the lever to Jake's hideout. He stored the stolen food in there just in case. He pressed the lever and two pistons opened up a trapdoor. His stash of redstone was laid there in neat piles. Across from him was his noteblocks he used when he was bored. To refresh his memory, he quickly fashioned a set of tripwires. He begged that the cornucopia would have redstone for him. If there was redstone, he was sure to win.
[Jake Hoffman's POV (Part 2) (Sorry the Spacing Glitched out). Jake planned for the Hunger Games. It wouldn't be long until it started. He fiddled with his items, trying to make them. His hands were sweaty at the thought of being called during the reaping. He could imagine his name getting called by the Reaper,
"And for the boy tribute, Jake Hoffman!" Jake started to sweat even more and forgot how to make some of the most simple redstone devices. "Snap out of it!" he whispered. As he turned to look into his chest, there was a knock on the piston door. Cautiously, Jake stepped towards the well made piston door. There was another knock. Jake started heavily breathing. He knew he couldn't hand to hand combat if the person at the door was looking to attack. The chest full of TNT looked at Jake. He had been saving twenty five, illegal blocks of TNT in a chest for emergencies. He grabbed four TNT, and a redstone torch, and headed for the door. Carefully, Jake pressed the lever to open the door, and swiftly planted a piece of TNT down.
The person a the door was dressed in all white, just as if he drenched a suit of leather armor in a bone mealy substance. Jake took another look at the nice armor and realized it was shiny. Iron! Then it hit him. Only peacekeepers wore iron armor. Quickly, Jake lit the TNT and made a run for it. He pushed down the Peacekeeper down and dove out of the house. Then there was a boom...
Diane Winda Chase's POV. Diane was petting a baby cow, when she heard a noise. Cautiously, she stepped behind the cow and peered through the cow's utters. She saw a bush, which she swore the noise was coming from. Her eyes stayed locked on the bush, waiting for a sudden movement. Time passed by, when the bush moved, again! Curiously, she stumbled towards the bush, trying to slow down her fast paced nature, so she didn't scare away whatever was there. "Ah Ha!" she exclaimed as she jumped behind the bush, only to uncover a chicken that was lost from the group. Diane started to break out in laughter. "You silly Chicken," she laughed. Diane laughed a lot, trying to forget her troubles. The animals rolled past her, as she looked around. It was still the same plantation, from which the rich people enslaved her at. Diane didn't feel right. She killed these hopeless animals everyday. Although she was one of the best hunters in the district, Diane didn't feel right, killing these animals. She let out a sigh. These traits will help me in the Hunger Games, right? Laughter broke out of her. "Yeah right? Like I'll get picked during the reaping," she muttered.
Diane Winda Chase's POV (Part 2) The chicken bawked at Diana, then started the run away. Desperately, she chased after the chicken. The thoughts of being chosen for the Hunger Games faded away. Diane knew that if she lost one of the prized animals, punishments would be severe, including death. Her legs were wheels as she closed in. The chicken was running towards the wooden fence. Diane chuckled at the chicken as it seemed to be in a dead end. Then, in a swift dive, the chicken jumped through the slim hole of the wooden fence. Devastated, Diane stared blankly at the chicken on the other side of the fence. A tear rolled down her cheek, but instead of crying, she instantly gritted her teeth. Diane was determined. She started digging with her hands. Breaking dirt with bare hands wasn't that hard. Soon after, she was on the other side. Diane started on a dead sprint towards the chicken. She dove on the chicken, and look in her hands to uncover... the chicken! A smile spread across her face. Then a gloomy darkness spread across the grass. Night, already? she thought. Cautiously, she examined the darkness. It moved toward her, as if it was a shadow. A shadow... she turned her head to see a, none other, than a peacekeeper. The peacekeeper was fully decked in iron, and made a fist with his hands.
The Reaping...
Jake woke up, unconscious. He was unaware of his situation, and didn't know where he was. Jake started to vaguely remember what happened. The TNT, the Peacekeeper. Suddenly, he heard noises, mumbling. Choose, Reap, Trouble, Punishment, Consequence. Those words stood out. Jake looked around, and stared intently at the dim redstone torch, that lit the room. He crawled over there carefully and ripped the torch off the wall. It was quiet for a moment, then a piston door opened up. Automatically, Jake ran out, like a bat in a cave, only to be stopped by two peacekeepers.
Diane woke up to the noise of squeaking. "A bat!" she exclaimed. Diane often bragged about knowing all the mob sounds by heart. It was moist and wet, like a cave. She started her way out, blinded by the darkness. Each hand was sprawled out, reaching for the nearest rock. At the top, she encountered light, shining through a hole in the roof, probably caused by an enderman. Leaping higher than ever, Diane somehow made it to the surface. She started to make a run for it, but in a split second, two peacekeepers jumped down from the ceiling, just like a spider would've. Horrified, Diane stood there, frozen in terror.
Jake was brought to a room, with the mayor of District 3, and some peacekeepers. The mayor studied Jake for a second, than looked to the peacekeepers. He nodded than mumbled something. His head turned to Jake and said, "You have been causing a mess haven't you?" Sweat poured off Jake's glistening head, and all he could manage was a weak nod. "In punishment," the mayor continued, "We have decided not to slaughter you, but to let you die painfully, in the Hunger Games." The peacekeepers nodded in agreement. Shocked, Jake's mouth fell to the ground.
Diane intently eyed the room, looking for an exit. She tried not to make sudden movements because those peacekeepers were given her the eye. The mayor of district 5 started things. "Diane Winda Chase. Welcome. So you have made some trouble, eh?" Diane nodded, with confidence in her eyes. "Well, I have decided to punish with not death, but with possible death," continued the mayor, with a wink. "We have chosen to put you in, none other, than the Hunger Games. Enjoy your time here while you can."
Diane was horrified. The Hunger Games? she mouthed. The thing she once joked about now came reality.
Is this a server or just the fanfic? Just wondering...
