A terrible storm rumbled overhead. Lightning went from cloud to cloud, and sometimes to ground. Then the Ghastly Spectre floated by, leaving a trail of fire where he once levitated. He began to take over a beautiful mansion, which he would use to contain the nightmares he created. The knights and guards were no match for his horrifiying power. The Lord of the manor was slew at his feet. He could not be stopped by mortal hands.

It is fabled in the thirty years that followed, the Spectre waited for the Hero that the Oracle predicted. The one who would cast him down into the Nether. He prepared for this Hero's arrival, whilst he also prepared to summon the Lord of Nightmares, The Wither, which he would control to take over the world.

Thus the ungodly nightmares of The Nether were cast onto the Overworld.

He could taste the sand in his mouth, the bitter and grainy substance tasted horrible. He slowly stood up, not knowing where he was at all. Now that he thought about it, he did not know who he was, or where he came from. He had no memory.

After wiping the sand from his eyes, he turned around. Seeing nothing but the ocean, he turned around again, this time seeing a dark forest path. There was a chest covered with vines in the center of the path. He could hear a horrific moaning and screaming from far away. Constantly looking over his shoulder he speed-walked to the chest and opened it. Inside was a very sharp carved wooden sword and some cooked beef. He sprinted down the path, following the sound of moaning.

A quarter of the way to the moaning, he met the zombies. If it wasn't for that sword, he would be very dead. He continued on until he heard screams coming from a zombie infested cabin. He slashed through the wall of zombies that were preventing entry to see two small boys. "Are you okay?" He asked.
"Never better," the first boy said sarcastically. "My name is Victor, who are you?"

"I don't know who I am," He replied, "I woke up on the beach with no memory."

"Interesting," Victor scratched his head, "So, if you have no memory I guess I have to tell you the story." As Victor cleared his throat, He gave a confused look but before He could speak the questions on his tongue Victor started.

"In the beginning, there was only the Void. A hole of nothingness, bottomless and endless. The most horrible monsters were born there, even terrors that made the Zombies outside look like Pigs. But out of all the evil and chaos, a light was born. A light who would one day become strong enough to cast down the monsters of the Void. We know him now as The Almighty Notch. When he vanquished the monsters of the Void, he set upon creating an Overworld. Yet even it was too much for Notch. So to help, he created three archangels. Jeb, Thannos, and Lucifer. Together they created the Overworld and it's creatures. However Lucifer wanted only power. So in secret, he set upon creating a powerful being known as a dragon. But he messed up, and the dragon became corrupted with pure evil. It became unstable when released in the Overworld, and it began destroying the place that Notch and the archangels created. When Notch learned of this, he cast Lucifer and his dragon into the Void. However Lucifer, with the little power he had left, created a place so hellish, so filled with chaos and corruption that the archangels did not dare to travel to. It became known as the Nether, and Lucifer became it's king. The Nether gave Lucifer power that he thought could even destroy Notch. Thus Lucifer became Lord Herobrine." Victor gave a yawn, "It's getting late and I know you have a lot of questions, but we should get to bed. I will tell the rest tomorrow."

He woke up. Looking out the window, he saw moonlight and Zombies walking through the woods. He walked to the living room to find Victor sitting there. "You slept longer than I thought you would." Victor said.

"Why is it still dark outside." He said groggily.

"It's always dark, it's the effect Herobrine has on his domain. Anyway let's get on with the story."

Victor cleared his throat. "Herobrine roamed the Nether for some time. Setting up fortresses, creating nightmares ecetera. Finally he gained enough power to come to the Overworld and set his demons to it. He found a manor and killed it's lord who is my father. His name was Lord Fabian. My mother escaped and built a crypt for Fabian. When Herobrine learned of this he placed one of his minions in the crypt, the Skeleton King. So you are good with a sword, help me defeat Herobrine, help me drive the evil out." Victor reached into a chest and pulled out armor and a sword. All Iron. "Will you help?"
