Many have questioned how our world began, from theories of evolution, to Notch just bursting our world with life. I however have heard another story. One many of you would never believe. One that includes the mighty cobblemen who roamed the lands long before the great wars, long before humans and testificates walked on the dirt, or even the name Notch was noted.
You see, when Minecraftia was just an empty flat land of dirt and grass, the cobble men came into being due to the magical properties of the world, and there were different kinds with different abilities. Some were able to manipulate stone, water, or lava. Some were given the ability to create plants and animals, and a select few were able to create sentient beings. These giant creatures traveled far and wide shaping the mountains and the oceans, and filling them with life. Pigs, sheep, and cows are some of the animals that were made to fill up the forests and grasslands, then early humans were made.
Though not a single ruin remains of the Cobblemen race remains they did build giant cities out of gold and diamonds. They lived luxuriously with little regards to waste. However as the years past one of the most powerful cobblemen became corrupt with power and created a vast army of monsters known as mobs, and with this the first and only cobblemen war began...
The cobblemen were never much for fighting. The giant creatures lived peacefully and only a few dedicated their lives to learning how to use weapons. Though when the evil Brimstone created an army of mobs the other cobblemen had no choice but to fight back. Though from the beginning when the cobblemen city of Hadralka ("Center hold" in cobble tongue) was taken, it became obvious that they stood little chance against the unending hordes of mutated spiders, undead, and explosive creepers, and so they devised a plan.
Holystone, the leader of the cobblemen, asked the humans for aid in the war against Brimstone and his army of mobs. Seeing an opportunity to repay their debt of life the three kingdoms of man joined the side of Holystone. With kings Ender of Endis, Markus of Netherland, and Gordis of Parrid, the cobblemen's armies swelled and the sides were balanced.
The battles that raged on afterwards were disastrous for both sides. Many cobblemen and humans were killed. Things looked even worse when Markus and Gordis were slayed while battling Brinestone himself. Much hope was lost until two brothers from the kingdom of Parrid stepped forward and led a glorious victory on a creeper construction facility. They were known as Brine the Hero, and Sir Notch. Since then they had success after success. Eventually they made it to Brimstone's castle and slayed him. However during the battle, Markus's only heir was killed, and he named Brine his successor.
With Brimstone's death, the war was finally over, even though mobs still roam minecraftia, they had no leader rendering them incapable of taking over cities or fortresses. To thank the humans who have aided the Cobblemen, Holystone gave Sir Notch, The Hero Brine, and King Ender the powers of the cobblemen. Though now the cobblemen were in extremely small numbers they still persisted to exist, and thus another chapter of the history of minecraftia ends...
According to my sources Pigmen were created before humans, however they were nomadic and avoided contacted with the other races. Even during the Cobblemen war they avoided conflict by moving before any army reached their encampments. However, with the fall of Brimstone and the dispersion of the mob armies the pigmen race could no longer travel in safety for their encampments were under constant attack. Finally they decided to gather together and traveled underground where they met a colossal cobbleman named Obsoldin. He taught them how to fight and smith using gold, and even helped to build the Pigman city of Gargus. After that they pigmen founded a kingdom underground and they flourished.
Using the gold smithing techniques the pigmen quickly gained favor from the human kingdoms. They built vast tunnel systems, Which can still be found today, that connected their underground kingdom. However it is dully noted that King Brine, aka the Hero Brine, disliked the pigmen due to the fact that they did not help in the war against Brimstone. May it also be noted that the city of Gargus also resided under Brine's new land, and most of the tunnels where being dug up into valuable farmland and forests. He was able to control his temper until the pigmen accidentally dug right into his capitol city and wrecked a brewery.
Enraged he began a campaign to rid the pigmen from his kingdom. Unbenounced to him the pigmen felt that they could beat any foe as long as the colossal cobbleman Obsoldin lived in Gargus, and as such they all returned home to battle Brine's armies. Though the pigmen were no match for the tactical brilliance and godlike Brine and were slaughtered before him. Eventually he made it to Gargus and began laying siege to it. The pigmen seeing no way to stop Brine pleaded to Obsoldin to help them. Obsoldin knew he couldn't beat Brine and such refused to fight. However, he did allow the pigmen to enter his body, and after they all went inside, he shut his gaping mouth and buried his head deep underground as to prevent Brine from following. Though it did not stop the fall of the one and only pigman kingdom in the Overworld, nor did it quench his anger, and as such he vowed to find a way to destroy them once and for all...
King Brine was praised by his people for conquering the pigmen empire and securing the vast amounts of gold they had in their treasuries. However he was not content with the pigmen from hiding from the humans. He quickly became obsessed with their annihilation and searched through ancient tomes to find a way to reach the pigmen. Eventually King Brine learned that he could enter any Colossal cobbleman by making a portal with the same substance as their skin and activated with fire. So using obsidian he made opened a gate into Obsoldin and led Netherland into combat once again.
When he entered his people found a hellish place that smelled of molten rock and the heat made it difficult to breath. But Brine's people had faith in their leader and continued to follow him. They quickly discovered the pigmen and their new creations from gold (Known as blazes), however obsoldin seemed to have made the pigmen stronger and the humans had trouble fighting them. Brine then ordered the construction of fortresses to combat the pigmen, and thus battles raged on with neither side having the advantage. Though even Brine couldn't have fortold the plots King Ender had in the overworld.
Ender was bored after the war of the cobblemen. Without war his life was dull and no matter how many celebrations they had in his honor. When Brine began his war against the pigmen, Ender was hoping one side would have asked for his help, but when the pigmen disappeared his hopes vanished, and as he began to believe he'll never fight again, Brine suddenly vanished with most of his army. Ender took it as a sign to have fun. He immediately attacked Netherland with his forces taking several cities before Netherland knew what was happening. After Ender learned what happened to Brine he took the capital city Wither and sent a wizard to destroy the portal from the inside, and after a few minutes the portal was closed.
Brine soon learned of Ender's treachery, but learned too late. By then him and his troops were cut off from the overworld. Without constant supplies coming from netherland Brine's troops would starve, and the only food source they could gather was the meat from the pigmen. Then it came to a war on survival, and after several long years all the pigmen were killed, thus condeming Brine's army to starvation. Then many years had past and all Brine could do was practice his cobblemen powers. Eventually he figured out how to raise the dead and make materials out of thin air. He then revived his armies and named them wither skeletons since only bones remained, and since he desired revenge on ender he also enlisted the pigmen by reviving them into zombies. Though without human contact his sanity left him, and he soon became a monster who's name became Herobrine...
Ender celebrated his triumph over Netherland and Brine. Now his kingdom stood over the rest in size, resources, and military might. His vainity caused him to name many things after himself, and built monuments in his image. His military arrogance had him build sprawling fortresses underground to secretly secure his lands, as he conquered other smaller kingdoms that lived nearby.
However the cobblemen had enough of Ender's corruption and tried to kill him with one fell swoop. However Ender escaped the ambush and then declared war on the cobblemen. Notch no longer willing to stand by and watch Ender fight the cobblemen after killing his brother (or so he believed) and rallied his kingdom, as well as the surrounding kingdoms and battled Ender's gargantuous military.
At first Ender's troops proved quite capable in holding the lines, but as the cobblemen colossals began fight it was evident that Endis would not last. As every city and castle was taken Ender relied more and more on his strongholds, and even though his people would follow him to the death, they were no match for the combined forces facing them. Then suddenly Ender City, capitol of Endis, was captured. After that Ender's armies dwindled greatly in numbers.
Ender seeing no hopes for victory, and knowing the allied forces would find his strongholds any day, built several portals portal, called End portals. Without much thought to where they led, he gathered his forces and entered the portals. They ended up in a world filled with black, and Ender named it 'the end'. He quickly discovered, however, he discovered that there was no way back to the Overworld, and after a few month's his men were skelletal shells of their former selves, and yet remained loyal to Ender. Like Brine though, Ender practiced with his powers, and found out how to transform himself into any creature he desired, though whenever he tried to transform any of his troops they became taller, stronger, and became the same color of the endless space around them.
Ender seeing how these new creatures could teleport tried becoming one of these creatures, when he succeeded he named them Endermen and learned how to teleport back to the Overworld. He soon transformed all of his remaining men into Endermen and taught them all how to teleport to the Overworld. Though Ender quickly grew more fond of the end. He eventually decided to remain there, and to prove his power, he transformed into a dark dragon which would remain a secret for quite some time.
His troops, now Endermen still hold great hate to the humans of the world for causing their mighty empire's fall. Though they prefer to remain hidden and will only attack if they believe they were spotted. Also, each of their hearts eventually turned into pearls, which allowed them to teleport easily without thought, though water became acidic to them because of their transformation...
