This is my first short, more posted every 2-3 days, personal things are going on, so, I'll post as much as a can but...... Here it is.
Survival of the Fittest: Day One, Chapter one: Shelter
Day One:
I was about to do it. "Just.... Just jump." I sighed; "these 'long fall boots' had better work." I told myself. I jumped. The guns fired. The concrete came closer and closer...I fell THROUGH it. Violet light was streaming through the air and circulating about me, and a muddy clay tunnel contained me. My boots evaporated. Faster and faster I fell, then I saw a light... A circular light at the end of the seemingly bottomless pit. I was almost to it, and it turned light blueish gray. I shot out, screaming, "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!?!?!?!?" I flew downward, and saw clouds..
I looked up. I couldn't see the hole, just an upside down wilderness. I stopped in mid-fall/flight for half a second, and "fell" towards the hole I arrived through, although it was replaced by a steep pool of water. I splashed down.
The last thing I remember was a chicken running from the water. I woke up near the pool, on a hill. I stood. A vast landscape lied before me. The sun was rising.
I wandered around the hill, and I had NO Idea why I was here, or what this place is.
I saw a white figure in the distance, so I walked towards it, curious. After all, trees, mountains, and a plain was all I saw from here. I was almost to it, then I noticed... It was a sheep.
This forest I just walked into, was, actually quite cold. Snow covered this part of the landscape. I approached the sheep, and saw the wool on It's body. That warm, fluffy, wool seemed quite appealing here. I tugged at the wool, hard. The sheep let out a large, "baa!"
And stared me in the face. I was getting sick of the cold, and the stubborn sheep, so I punched it in the side, and It started running around randomly, then smashed Its face into a tree. The animal fell to the ground and let out a wailing, "bah!!!" And it turned into dust. Creepy. I looked at where the sheep had existed, and I saw a small chunk of wool, sitting on the ground. I picked it up, and unfolded into a sheet of wool.
It was VERY warm, and and as soft as a blanket, so I threw it over my back, and wrapped it around me. I looked around the forest... And.. It began to snow.. It was VERY cold. Thought to myself, "If I can get things from punching sheep, surely I can build a shelter from the cold?" I approached a tree, and punched it, hard; It hurt, very badly. But, a second later, I saw the wood crack, and the whole tree fell down. Miniature logs fell all over the ground. I went over and picked them up. I did the same for other trees, but kicked them and smacked them instead of almost breaking my fist over it. I turned; Several saplings were lying on the ground. I collected them, and noticed I needed something to hold my Items in. I looked around. I saw nothing I could use. So, I began to build a house, to get space in my pockets, and help myself survive. I placed small columns of wood, and then placed more logs randomly, and dug in the dirt for a second. I found a sharp, serrated piece of flint, and began sawing on the wood. After about two minutes, all the sudden, It turned into 4 miniature uneven piles of planks. I lifted them up, and laid them across the top of the columns, making a basic 'roof '. I took some sticks off the surrounding trees, and cut holes in the wood and planks with the flint, and stuck the wooden pegs into their holes, making a structured roof. I did the same for the walls, but, on the second-to-last peg, the flint shattered, and gashed the side of my finger open. I yowled in pain, and tore off some wool from the edge of the woolen fluff-sheet, and bandaged my hand. The flint that shattered, however, was EXTREMELY sharp; I figured I could use that later. I looked around to try to find some sap from these spruce trees, and found some on a branch. I grabbed another stick, wiped the sap off with it, and stuck the bandage together with it, and then pasted some leaves on the bandage.
I returned to the small shack, and finished the sides. The sun was setting, and I needed a floor. I put the remaining planks over the floor then went out, and, with the flint, sheared some wool off a black sheep, and reentered my home. I covered the splintering wood with normal tree leaves from a stubby oak tree, then laid the wool on top. I needed to cover that doorway, though. I 'cut' down one more tree, made some planks, and rested them on the doorway. I laid my head down, and closed my eyes. The light howling of the wind and light snow outside, sang me to sleep for the night.
Survival of the Fittest: Day Two, Chapter two: In the line of fire
I opened my eyes, and stretched. I looked around, It was dark in my shelter, So that day, I decided to find some source of light.. And heat. I went outside, and yawned; I worked a lot last night. I look around, and I see something on fire.
But... The fire was heading toward me... Was it a person? I ran over, and a few meters away, I fell. Pain surging through me, my arm felt like it was on fire. I looked, and there was an arrow in my arm, the blood-stained shaft was half on fire, blood spilling out of the gash in my arm, leaking over the grass, and staining my blanket. I looked over at the flaming thing, It was a snow-white, skinny man, who had a bow in his grasp... I stare in horror, coughing up blood, and I hear a thunderous boom from the mountain. Suddenly, there was an explosion a few meters in front of me, sending the skinny man flying, his arm ripping from his body, the bloody bones and the bow landing on my face, knocking me out.
Day 7:
I awaken on a nice, fluffy bed, in a cobblestone room. I look to my right, my miniature logs, planks and carpet, and my journal sitting in a leather sack, open on the bed next to me. I looked to my left; The arrow That had been in my arm, the bow, the arm and forearm bones, bleach-white, and my flint. My blanket was covering me. I sat up. I was on 3 beds, my body sideways across two, and another man next to me, staring at me. I suddenly could not remember anything before I jumped off the building. The man said,"Judging by your "lucky arrow", as Tom calls it, you were almost killed by a flaming skeleton." He sat tall, and smiled. He had the classic Scandinavian appearance; Honey white hair, in a short, military-type fashion on his head, and a trickle of blond hairs on his arms. He also had averagely muscular forearms, he was probably around six feet tall, his beard so fine it seem taped to his chin, and his voice carried only a hint of the country of his birth.
"...Hello...umm... Where am I?" I asked. "Locally, you're in Parrish, on the other side of the mountain from were Tom found ya'." The man said.
I had no idea ANYONE lived here.
"Who is Tom? What do you mean 'Locally'?" I asked.
Well, you can call this world whatever you want, but don't call it anything stupid. I'll go get Tom, the village leader."
"Wait!"
"Yes?" He smiled kindly.
"What"s your name?"
"Dr.Bergstrom, I'm the medical assistant."
"Okay."
And with that, he was off.
looked through my stuff. Seven miniature logs, each goos for one Five meter high column of log, Twenty-Nine planks (seven were extras, they wrecked my shack!!!) Forty-nine pegs (They were in the bottom of the sack), My black, crappy carpet, my Lucky Arrow, my bow, three bones, and my shattered flint.
I was kinda ed that they broke my house, but, they'll probably make me a better one. My stomach growled. I gagged. I think I was starving.
They arrived, and greeted me with a smile.
"Hello, fine sir, um.. What's your name?" Tom asked.
"I..... Don't... I don't remember... I'm so hungry..." I groaned.
"Well, that's probably because you've been out for four an' a half days.. Might it not?"
He chuckled. He looked somewhat like a guy I knew... named Markus, oddly. Except, without the hat.
...and his deep scarlet eyes...
SIDE NOTE: I am disappointed about the lack of popularity from this story, but, what can I do about it eh?
I did this in half an hour, making the story up as I went, so It may suck.
Survival of the Fittest, Day Seven, Chapter Three; The Tall One's Coffer
I rub my face, and blink. My eyes stung, my butt hurt, and my throat was sore. My shoulder was bandaged, though, so that's ALOT better.
"What would you like?" Asked Tom.
"We have an official menu." Added Haddis
I just hoped it wasn't some nasty grass... That's all this world seems to be able to have available to eat. The sheep didn't have any lamb chops, after all.
"Here. We found pumpkins in a nearby field, so we grow and make pumpkins, then make some pies, and we also, just yesterday, actually, were digging for a hidden storage chest and a tater was growing in the dirt. So now we have mashed taters, and tater tots."
I looked at the menu:

"These are good prices." I chuckled.
"Well, yeah. How old are you?" Tom asked.
"I'm not sure but, probably not old enough to drink rum." I replied.
"Or milk." Haddis added, smiling. By now I had guessed the milk was a joke.
"I think I'll go with the potato soup." I said. "I've never had it before.... I think"
"Okie dokie, would you like a beverage with that, sir? " Haddis asked.
"Yes, please. I'd like some water, please."
"I'll have Caroline bring in the food." He said.
"Okay...." I responded. I didn't know there were more people here, but, I didn't know there were other people here first place, so, what did I know?
After a few minutes, Caroline walked in. "Here's your lunch, sir." She said with a smile. She was wearing a dark purple hoody, skinny jeans, and had a deep blue eye color, if she stared your way for even a second, her gaze became an imperious squint.
"Thanks... How long have you been here?" I asked.
"You'll have to answer me that question before I tell you." She replied, grinning.
"Alright, I lived here one day and went outside, and was nearly murdered by a skeleton."
"Well, I came here and wandered around, and saw a couple houses in the side of this mountain, so I came in and was brought up by Haddis, when I was Six, eight years ago."
I ate some of the soup, and thanked her for it. I stood up, and my blanket fell off. I was wearing a light blue T-shirt, and blue jeans. Before I was wearing Black pants, and a green hoodie.
"Why am I wearing...? Ugh. Never mind that.. I'm gonna walk around, okay?"
"No. You cannot leave."
I felt nervous. "Why....?"
"You haven't finished your food." She smiled, but her facial expression told me, 'I made this food. You will not waste it.'
I looked at the bowl, and picked it up, and drank the soup. It wasn't chunky, so I had no problem doing so.
There.
I said goodbye, and she left.
While I was wandering around I got lost in the corridors of rooms, from breweries to bathrooms, blacksmiths to bake shops. I could hear a static-gurgling noise, from somwhere.
I turned a corner, and stopped. Frozen, in fear. Before me lied a creature that was a good three feet taller than me, and was more black then the charred skeleton's bow I possessed.
It looked down. At me. I slowly let my head tip upward, to see the creature's face. Surprisingly, it wasn't something out of a horror movie. Just an emotionless face with bright purple eyes. It looked down at me; and slowly lowered it's jaw.
It shook with rage, pulsing with dark, blue light. I blinked. Then, after I opened my eyes, it was gone; a faint purple dust trail into the ceiling.
My vision blurred, and I was in bed, again. My neck hurt. I had something under my head. It was a baseball sized, blue, hollow, gelatinous pearl. I put It in my sack of supplies, and It disappeared, in a poof of purple dust.
Then I heard Tom from a faraway corridor: "HEY, NEWBIE! WANNA GO MINING?"
"YEAH!!! I'M COMING!!!" I replied. This Is gonna be fun.By the way, I just changed Bergstrom's name to Haddis!!!!
The problem why this may be so unpopular is probably due to the lack of spacing out the written lines. I makes reading stories much more easy!

Survival of the Fittest: Chapter Three, Day Eight: Discoveries
I was wondering were my stuff had gone, surely I can't go mining without it?
"Hey, newbie." Tom walked in.
"Hey."
"About your name... How about Steve?" Suggested Tom.
I liked it. Simple, yet it sounded awesome.
"Alright, yeah! I like it."
"Good. Anyways, we found a new cave system two days ago, so I wanted you to come mine with us."
"Okay! Hey, could you supply the tools? A circular thing that I found after a saw a dark figure... Made my stuff, well, just disappear."
Tom stared, as if he knew what I was talking about.
" I think you may have eaten a bad potato in your soup."
He looked nervous, and his eyes suddenly seemed quite distant. His unnatural scarlet eyes slowly turned purple, and glowed, slightly.
"What the hell is happening with your eyes?!?!?!?"
"What? What do you mean?" His eyes turned back to scarlet.
I coughed, and drank some water.
"You probably needed that." He commented, a worried look on his face.
A bead of sweat ran down his temple.
"Anyways, lets go. Just gotta get you a sword." He wiped off the sweat.
He handed me an iron pickaxe, it's end was bent on one side, and the handle had scratch and scorch marks. It's handle was that of an axe. Thin on the top, and wider along the way to the end of it. But the thing that stood out was that the ends of the pickaxe were blue. Shining blue.
"Why do I need a sword?" I asked, worried.
"For one, skeletons, and you'd better know what those are, and there are zombies, and spiders, and skeletons ride spiders, but, luckily they aren't too good at taming them, so It's quite rare. For another,
There are cave spiders, and silverfish. Silverfish come out of stone, and attempt bite the $#!% out of you. Cave spiders give you such a poisonous bite that Mike and John have died. "
Great. more death and despair.
"John got bit, mike tried to suck it out. That's how we found out it was poison. You can't die of drinking venom. He died.
It took a couple minutes for them to die. Their faces began to dissolve, and all that was left was their face muscle and parts of their eyes."
I gagged. This world sucks. What a horrible place to live.
"We call it Sticky-face. Like, for example, RIP Tom, KIA via Sticky-face."
It sounded horrible, but it was temping. The urge to explore. "Okay! I'll go!"
Tom smiled, and left the room.
I got up, thinking that the incident with the figure was a hallucination.
I grabbed my pick, and walked out of my room; into the main stone brick commons area.
I looked at my finger. I took a peek at the gash from before, and it was healed enough, it was sealed, but bloodstained.
Tom came out of absolutely nowhere; "Here's your sword!"
"OH MY GOD!!!!" I screamed.
I almost cut my face on the blue rimmed iron blade.
"Where the heck did you come from???"
He pointed to a door that was next to mine, labeled,
'BLACKSMITH & ARMORY'
"Oh, sorry." I laughed
"We will go on the 'morrow-" He paused.
"-Once you've had time to 'Toughen up, Nancy." He chuckled.
...his eyes flashed purple, for a single moment....

Right after the signature, there is this button that says report.
On the left side of this side there are two other buttons : Quote and Multi Quote.
The Quote button copies the post into your "add post" field, with a special code around it, the quoting code.
This code makes this special cage around the post and also displays various other things.
The MultiQuote is a quick way of quoting many posts very swiftly.
I myself had to think about how da heck to do it quite some time.
Hope i helps

Nice, good story. Of course I'm still wondering what happened at the beginning.
Whoops, lol. That was the old version, here's the new one:
Survival of the Fittest: Day One, Chapter one: Shelter
Day One:
I was about to do it. If I didn't steal the car, I'd not get to the dance, and I'd lose Felicia. I ran into the house, stole my Mom's keys, and started the car. I hit the gas, and flew out of the driveway. A few minutes later, I was on the freeway, over a bridge. I slid, probably on black ice, and crashed; Me flying out the car windshield, off the bridge. I just realized I accidentally copied the whole thing from my "notes" app onto the forum. Damn IPad ctrls, ugh.
Interesting. You do use correct grammar, which I am quite thankful for. You might want to check out the "edit post" button, though. It'll help you a TON.
Another few pieces of advice: don't rush through things. Take as much time as you need and draw out as many details as you require. Putting spaces between different topics in the paragraphs is something that might help readers (I have to work on that in particular myself...), and using the spoiler code is pretty darn handy. It goes like this:

TT2000, you are genius.
The problem why this may be so unpopular is probably due to the lack of spacing out the written lines. I makes reading stories much more easy!

Question: how do you add others comment into yours? I feel SO N00BY!!!

Thanks! I think it works, but I'm not sure.
The concrete came closer and closer...Then... I fell THROUGH it.
I just realized I accidentally copied the whole thing from my "notes" app onto the forum. Damn IPad ctrls, ugh.OH MY GOD RAGE
I'm unintentionally spamming myself xD
Just LAWUL !

Another few pieces of advice: don't rush through things. Take as much time as you need and draw out as many details as you require. Putting spaces between different topics in the paragraphs is something that might help readers (I have to work on that in particular myself...), and using the spoiler code is pretty darn handy. It goes like this:
