Hello, I got bored so I decided to make a fanfic, its my 2nd one, but I never finished the first one, and by now its pretty buried, soooo I decided I'd make a new one, there'll be a chapter every few days, and if you see any improvements to be made then just tell me in a comment. Hope you enjoy!
Character submission:
Temporararily closed until next book.
Prologue
Some time before Minecon 2013, Jeb added the Aether to minecraft, not knowing what would come
of it... At Minecon 2013, Notch, showed everyone something that resembled a portal to the Aether,
except it was in real life, Notch, knowing what it was told everyone that it was: "A portal into hostile
paradise," Hostile paradise being an achievement you got when you entered the Aether, and so,
people wanted to see what it was like, and many went in, even Notch, but only Notch came out,
or so they thought, a month after the portal was shut down and Minecon was over, someone came
out, holding a ball of what looked like molten lava, but it was actually the sun god's heart, along with
many other things, including some blue armor, and who was that man? My grandfather, but what he
didn't know, was that the heart of the sun god, was slowly, changing him into something else.
* * *
"Are you sure about this Syn?" My friend asked.
"Yes I'm sure, if this works... then will my enhancements
still be there?"
I asked, looking at the portal made of a mixture of obsidian and glowstone, then looking
up at the sun, which hadn't gone down for a month, and I was going to try to stop it.
"I'm pretty sure
yes, but all you're taking is your father's sword, his invisibility cloak, and a grappling hook?" He asked.
"Yep pretty much, and are you positive that this will work?" I asked him.
"No, that's why I've been asking
you if you were sure, after all, the portal may or may not work, and you have to be going really, really fast,
or else I can't be sure if it'll work.... so just go." He said.
"Okay, here we go!" And then I jumped, and
felt wind in my face, but I knew that I was going really fast by now, and almost about to hit the portal,
three...two...one... Huh? Nothing happened... wait, did something happen? I thought to myself, then
realised, I was floating, in midair, I didn't feel anything holding me or touching me, I was just... floating...
then I felt a huge jerk, and started falling again, much faster this time, and I looked down; I saw the
earth, coming real fast, and I started to scream.
Right before I hit the ground I felt a hand grab me,
and I suddeny slowed down, until I was an inch from the ground, but I was still hovering, then I fell,
one inch onto the ground, and rolled over to see someone flying back up into the heavens, what
had my grandfather said they were... Valkyries?
I think that was it, so I tried to get up a few
times before finally getting up, and saw a village in the distance, so I figured I might as well
check it out.
What I say is not true, in case you didn't know. Book one: The Red Dragon
Chapter One: Starting the quest
(Names in a "**" are perspective changes)
*???*
"My Queen, I have news, a boy came from the outer dimension, do you think he is the one?" I said.
"He could very well be, keep an eye on him, but don't let him see you, if he does then the Ancient Sun
god will know of our rebellion, and that would be very, very bad." The queen said. "Very well, I will go
immedietly." I said, and flew back down, into the Overworld.
*Syn.*
As I walked into the village people ran into their houses, I had no idea why though, then I saw someone
looking into the well. "Excuse me sir, but what is this place?" I asked him. "You don't need to know that,
boy, but you look like you would do well as a servant of Sukoulion, grab him!" He said, and I felt two hands
on my shoulders. "Don't you try to escape boy, or I'll just make it even more miserable." The guy said.
"No thank you." I said, then did a front flip, planted my feet on the guy's face, and pushed off, landing ontop
of the well, then I saw that I had pushed the guy to the ground, also giving him a bloody nose. "I don't think
Sukoulion would very appreciate a boy like me." I said. "Oh, I think he would, you would be perfect for
injecting dark magic into you." He said, then he said a spell and launched me off the well, onto the ground.
"Or maybe I can do that... " Then a snake made out of darkess crawled from his hand, coming a little too
close for comfort for me, so, I jumped off the ground, did a backflip, landing on a house, then jumped up,
as high and as fast as I could, I had left the ground fast enough that a sillouhet of me was left behind for
a moment, causing him confusion, until I dug my sword into his skull, killing him, then a black tendril
came out of his body, and lunged for me, it nearly hit me but I sliced it in half with my sword, leaving
a black smoke from its body. That's when I noticed the villagers coming out of their houses, muttering
things like: "Is he here to save us?" "Is he going to free us from the great evil?" Another said, soon
they were all sorrounding me, asking so many questions that I couldn't even hear myself think. "Ahem,
if you would all quiet down, I would appreciate it very much." I said, and they stopped. "Now, can one
of you explain what has happened, and where I am?" I asked. "You are in Hartrio, it was a peaceful
village until that man came along, and said that he was claiming this village for 'The Great Lord', we
only put up with it because he never really did anything to us, then you came and freed us, we are
all very thankful." What looked like the village librarian said, and the others all nodded. "Well, are
there any other lords other than the one who sent that guy?" I asked. "Three others, better known
as The Wither, the Enderdragon, and.. the ruler of the Aether..." He said, his voice faltering when
he said the last one. "Well, who is the ruler of the Aether better known as?" I asked. "T-the Ancient
Sun god..." He said. "Well... this is probably suicide, but, I'll try to defeat them, and restore peace
to this world." I said, and all of them were muttering something or other. "Well, if you really are going
to to that, then you should go prepared." And then the blacksmith presented a bow, a diamond sword,
and five bundles of 64 arrows. "You'll also need this." The librarian said, and presented a book called:
"The Minecraftians Encyclopedia" "Its a guide to everything we know of about everything we know of."
He said. "Well, I might as well go now. Goodbye." I said then went to the road, unaware of the blue
eyes following me out of the village.
Chapter Two: Some people just don't like me
*???*

Chapter Two: A guy who is mean
I was running on the road, trying to find anything of interest, when someone bumped into me and I fell
over. "Hey look, its a kid all alone in the wilderness, trying to find something." He said, then two others
came out of the trees, looking equally mean.
"Well then, why don't we give you a lesson; never travel
on the road alone!" He said, then picked me up, leaving his chest completely vulnerable, so I did the
sensible thing: kicked his chest as hard as I could, which, could shatter two inches of a hard metal,
so I probably broke most of his ribs.
The first one was on the ground, then the other two came towards me,
so I slid under one then did a sort of backwards cartwheel and launched him into the air, then hit him
with a kick that launched him into a tree.
The last one was about to flee but, I launched myself towards
him and kicked him in the back. Seems like I should stay off the road for a bit then. I thought. Then I
heard the sound of a horse coming towards me, I didn't get the chance to see what it was before I
was grabbed and lifted onto the horses back, then the rider whispered: "I'm doing you a favor, now, don't
look back or else it'll be the end of you."
And I heeded his word. "Duck!" He whispered, so I did, and it
turned out it was a good idea, as one of the things that was chasing us shot a projectile where I was
a second ago. "What are those things?" I asked.
He just said: "Something very evil," He said, that's
when I saw a kingdom in the distance. "Is that where we're going?" I asked, and he nodded. "Once
we get into range the archers can pick those things off of our tail." He said, then I heard one fire again,
and I notched an arrow on my bow, and without looking back, did an awkward draw and fired, the arrow
flew straight into the projectile, bouncing it back, and I heard a few angry screams, sounded like I hit
some.
"We're almost there, hang on!" So I hung on and I was glad to, because the horse jumped over a
big log, and then I heard someone shout: "More of the hellish fiends! Archers! At aim! Fire!" Then a volley
of arrows went overhead, making more angry screams get yelled by them, then, when they were all
dead, I felt the ground shake... "Crap, we need to get out of here, right now!"
And then I saw what he meant,
standing ten yards away, was a really big troll... "Aim the catapults! Bring the beast down!" Another
person on the wall said, while the rider steered the horse to the gates, then a giant log landed infront
of us.
"Augh, I really, didn't want to do this, but apparently I do." He notched six arrows with TnT on them
at the troll, and fired, all of them hit the troll, and it fell, and then he steered the horse to the gates again,
and we went inside the castle, but not before the troll, on its dieing breath, threw a tree at me, and hit.
Chapter Three: A matter being
* * *
Space?
* * *
The Sea of Stars, a maze surrounding my village, though then again, it wasn't really a village, atleast, not one that you could see, you see, I come from a race of sentient beings that are made of matter, if we are not in a solid form then nothing but one of the same race can see us.
Our race consists of three tribes, each with their
own type of matter, however, sometimes a group of matter beings split off from their tribe, and live on their own, such as my village.
The people who made this village were twelve outcasts, four from each tribe, instead of fighting
to their last breath they formed a village, the one I lived in.
That was when they started to
form, the darklings, matter beings of the forbidden matter, also know as black matter, matter made from the hatred of humans, originally, black matter formed inside a humans chest, making them stronger, but also evil.
One man, had such hatred towards another that he was completely corrupted, and he became the first darkling, and the most powerful one, to this day he is still alive and he has been searching for our tribes for millenia, and he is about to find one.
However, a mortal prophosised that when he had found one tribe that someone born of
three bloods would defeat him, and banish him for eternity.
Many people tried to figure out how someone born
of three bloods would defeat them, so they searched through mortals, until they figured out that they were looking in the wrong place, because it wasn't of three bloods, it was of three essences, or rather, the matters that represented them: Ice, fire, and wind.
It was about five hours after they had found out about that when something they thought
impossible to happen: A fusion, of the three elements, came crashing towards this village, heading straight for the middle,
it was almost about to hit the village when it slowed down, hovering just above the ground, then it exploded, giving birth...
to me: Naerhul, The ice bringer.
I looked at the book I had just written, another attempt to make a history book
for an essay, I sighed then closed it, knowing that I had one more chance tomorrow, so I looked at my watch: nearly midnight, I had to go back to the village soon, but there was still some time to look into the stars, and when I say look into them I mean to look at them and see a historical event happen in time, whether it's past present or future.
So I looked into a star and saw a kid about 17 years old in the overworld on a horse, riding away from
some Blast hornets, then I realised that there was a man on the horse too, I decided to see how this ended, then I saw that they were riding towards a castle, when I saw a troll coming towards them, this would not end well, but I still wanted to see what would happen, when the troll threw a tree at the boy, I was suprised to see that he didn't die, as he was hit directly, I knew from experience that men would die from the tree alone, not to mention getting crushed afterwards.
I stopped looking into this star and went over to another one, and was suprised to see
what I called an empty star, it wasn't really empty, but in reality it was meant for someone to make an event
happen inside of it.
So I looked inside and saw a comet, heading through space, but what was strange was
that a life form was in it, I looked deeper into the star and saw that it was really just a servant, he would do
whatever he was told, so I decided I'd make him into a real being, but that wouldn't do if I couldn't find
a good location for him, would it?
So I looked for a place, until finally choosing the Overworld, it would
hit in twenty years, but then I looked into the future in that star twenty years foward, and saw a girl out
stargazing, she would be a perfect teacher, so I aimed it twenty feet away from her and looked into his
memory again, and left information on how he lived and what to do in certain situations, I also left a
little something in his memory: "You are star born." and then gave him a fragment of my power over ice,
then withdrew from the star and looked at my clock: midnight, I had to stay a night in the maze it seemed,
or maybe not... I went over to the first star I looked into, and went in.
Chapter Four: A Darkling in disguise
*Naerhul*
I started to materialise near the castle, but not close enough to be seen, then formed my body: A slim frame with enough muscle to be able to be agile, but not enough to be to overly strong and heavy, then made all of the rest of the organs and such, I made my eyes ice blue, and made black clothes and a black cloak, to keep hidden, then the weapons; two steel katanas, one on my back, tilting to the left and another one on my left hip, then I looked at the body I had just created, not my best creation but it would do, unlike one body I made with a huge nose and ears, then I approached the castle.
*???*
When the boy had gone inside the castle I knew that I would have to disguise myself in order to keep an eye on him, so I came up with a plan: I would disguise myself as a nurse and treat his wounds to keep an eye on him, and if he left I could find out where he went. I went to the medical storage and got some more fresh bandages and headed back to his room.
*Syn*
I was dreaming... considering that it looked like I was in space, when I heard a voice: Hero, can you hear me?
The voice said. "Ummm yes... Who are you?" I asked.
I am Carus, the balancing spirit of the Nether, I came
to tell you of your destiny, but only what I was allowed to know. Carus said.
"Ok," I said, "If you're really here
to do that then tell me." I said. Very well, but I might as well tell you that your destiny is very painful, do you still want to hear it? "Do I really have a choice?" I asked.
You may chose to not hear it and live your life as it
is now, or I can tell you your destiny. Carus said. "I'll hear it." I said.
Very well, I'll tell you your destiny for your
journey: Your journey will have many people, friends and foes alike, but some may be twisted or possessed by something, and if you free them they'll help you, but the eldest being will be the one to save you or end you. That is all, goodbye, hero.
I woke up in a bed with some blood on it, my blood. What had happened? Something
to do with flying trees or something? Oh yes, the troll threw a tree at me and somehow I had survived, then I heard someone knock on the door saying: "Are you awake yet? If you are, then can you open the door? My hands are full!" The person said, the voice seemed female though.
"Yes I'm awake, but I don't think walking
would be a good idea..." I said. "There should be a wooden button to open the door and some rocks to throw at it near your bed." She said. "Okay, I'll try." I said, then threw some rocks at the button, missing them of course, one rock left, better make it count, I threw it and it hit the button, and a girl around 18 years old came in.
"Terribly
sorry about that, but I couldn't put these bandages down or else I'd have to go get some more, anyway, can you move all your body parts? You've been asleep for five days so we feared the worst." She said, and I moved all of my body parts a little, sending up spikes of pain. "Ouch! That hurts." I said after moving my muscles.
"Well,
that can be expected considering you're probably really stiff, anyway, can you stay still while I put some fresh bandages on?" She asked, I nodded slightly and she went to work taking off old bandages and putting on new ones with gentle hands.
"By the way, you never told me your name." I said. "My name is Aierna." She said.
"Well, how about I call you Aien?" I said. "That's fine I guess but..." Then I heard a sound like soldiers marching up steps, and that was excactly what it was, then one of them said: "The King is being held at knifepoint!"
*Naerhul*
After I had climbed over a wall, snuck past some guards, and killed some creepers, I sensed an evil being
nearby, so I tuned my internal radar to where it was: the throne room, and prepared a cleansing spell, then
headed towards the throne room.
I had to break down a door to get to the darkling, and guards had spears
pointed at me, I didn't want to deal with them so I just froze them.
"Well well well.... look what we have here,
if it isn't Naerhul, the saver of the universe supposedly." He said. "And you, the eater of worlds, Ghiaharkily, are going to die." I said, then charged at him, my hand on the hilt of the katana on my hip, he looked ready for me, but at the last moment, I slid under him, injected the spell, and killed the darkling, but just incase the darkling still controlled him I made an ice dagger and held him at knifepoint.
Chapter Five: Unexpected Joining
*Naerhul*
I heard guards coming up steps to save their king. "Put him down or we'll kill you!" One of them said. "Humans,
they never get how the universe flows throughout time," I said "You should really learn to not disturb things you don't understand." I said, and let the king go.
"You killed him!" One of the guards said, then one threw a spear at me,
"Bad choice," I said, and threw the dagger I had made, and killed the guard that had attacked. "I can only attack if you do something hostile to me you know, otherwise I'd be breaking the universal law." I said.
*Syn*
Me and Aierna headed up the steps to the throne room until she said "Duck!"
And I was glad I did because
a dagger went spinning above my head, digging into the wall, then I looked into the throne room and saw
someone with ice blue eyes standing near an unconcious king, he said: "I can only attack if you do
something hostile to me you know, otherwise I'd be breaking the universal law."
The guards hesitated to attack him,
because they knew that they would be killed if they came any closer, that's when I saw an unnatural shadow behind him, I shouted "Behind you!"
And it was a good thing I did because the shadow did a weird motion
that I certainly didn't want to be hit by, he stabbed a katana into the ground where the shadow was and
something strange happened: The shadow rose from the ground, into something that looked like you
could touch, it somewhat resembled a human but it was twisted in a way I couldn't quite place a finger
on, and the man put a hand on what I presumed was its forehead, and stood there for a few seconds
before taking his hand off it and it turned into dust.
"It seems that the being that possessed the king
wasn't the only evil here." He said, and looked into the guards. "More specifically, you really should
have made this tower from sandstone than cobblestone." He said,
and the guards looked at him, puzzled,
when I heard the sound that something makes when it was going fast enough, I grabbed Aien and
jumped down the stairway, and heard many cries of agony, when I came back up to look I saw what
had happened: Part of the stairway had been destroyed from something, and I looked down into the ruins
of it and saw a lot of blood, more than I would want to ever see.
Then I looked into the throne room again,
and saw the man in battle with shadows, he was using both of his katanas now, and he certainly knew
how to use them, then they paused, and I felt a shaking, I realised that the tower was collapsing,
and we were really high up, and I didn't want to jump, when Aierna said: "Hold on to my hand, tightly."
She said,
and I didn't question, until she jumped off the tower, and revealed two pure white wings on
her back, and she started to flap them, and she managed to get us over the wall of the kingdom that
was now collapsing, then I saw a figure, jumping from falling tower to falling tower, then jumped and
threw a small object near us, and then he disappeared and reappeared right next to us and said: "A
boy and a Valkyrie, this should be fun." And dragged us down the road.
Chapter Six: The Shadowmancer
*Syn*
After he had explained who and what he was as well as what he was here for, it was night, so we set up
camp and made some beds to sleep on, he said he didn't need sleep and he would stand watch, he leaned
against a tree and closed his eyes... Lazy slacker.... I thought, and fell asleep.
*Naerhul*
I had closed my eyes to tiny slits that anyone who looked at me would think I was asleep, but I was quite awake,
actually.
I judged it to be around midnight when I heard a sound, the same sound you heard when an enderman teleported,
which meant that it was close, a little too close infact, I saw it at the edge of the little clearing I had found earlier,
the one we had set camp in.
The enderman started sneaking towards Syn, who was five inches away. The enderman was pulling out a pure
black scythe, and started bringing it up, over his head, ready to strike, it was about to bring the scythe down,
but I stepped forward with my katana ready to be drawn, then stuck it down his throat in a way, piercing his enderpearl.
The enderman screamed and teleported away, waking up Syn and Aien.
"What was that?" Aien asked. "Oh, I was just teaching an enderman to swallow a sword, nothing serious." I said.
"Why do I get the feeling that it was trying to murder one of us?" Aien said. "Well, you're right on that assumtion."
I said. "Well its almost morning so we should head out, Naer, how far are we to Sukoulion?" Syn asked. "About
half way there." I said. "Well then, we'd better get moving." Syn said.
* * *
*Syn*
"I think I see a town in the distance, hopefully." I said. "You'd be correct on that assumption, infact, one of the
greatest Redstone engineers lives in that town, also, I wanted to visit a friend of mine, I asked them to make
a good bow for me and I want to make sure its coming along." Naer said.
"Whats the engineers name?" I asked "Ovinev Schiskichski." Naer said. "What about your friends name?" Aien
asked. "I can't tell you that, but I can tell you that they're not human, or from my kind." Naer said.
"Well, the town is only so far away, we should be able to run there." I said. "No need, with the Masterpearl we
have unlimited enderpearls." Naer said. "The Masterpearl?" Me and Aien both said at the same time. "Think
of an enderpearl that generatates and enderpearl once you throw the one in your hand, however, if you throw
the Masterpearl itself then it will return to your hand." Naer said.
"Then why don't we give it a try?" I said, and
he threw an enderpearl really far towards the town, then grabbed me and Aien, and we felt like we were moving
really fast, and then it stopped, and we were infront of the gate to the town.
Chapter Seven: The Inventor And An Old Friend
*Syn*
We had entered the town and split up: Naer went to find his old friend, and me and Aien went to find the inventor.
We had no idea where he was until we heard a boom, and a house made out of pure cobblestone had a chunk of
it blown up.
"I'd bet that he lives in that house over there." Aien said and pointed towards a two story tall house. "Well, I guess
we'll find out." I said.
*Naerhul*
The moment I had entered the city I could tell that something sensed me, so I told Syn that I was going to go find
my friend, which was a half truth, but I was actually running through back alleys, heading towards my friends workshop.
I ran into a back alley, and the thing that was chasing me appeared at the other side, and another one appeared behind
me, there were also some on the roofs above me. That's when I pulled out a wooden button, and stuck it on ones
forehead, then lauched an ice shard at the button, hitting it and then the thing blew up. Thought so, they can't take
a Redstone current... I thought, then ran down the way that I had cleared, then one of the ones that were on the
rooftop jumped down, blocking my way again.
Oh yeah, I forgot I had that... And pulled out a portable hole, and used it on the building to my right, coming out into
the street, and arrived at my friends place, I wasn't suprised that there was a wolf standing there, growling at me.
"Long time no see." I said, then the wolf turned towards one of the creatures that had came, and leaped at it, killing
it, then the wolf turned back towards me and un-morphed, back into a human. "Bout' time you came, your bow
has been ready for quite awhile." She said, and invited me into her workshop.
*Syn*
"Hello? Anyone there?" I asked, after knocking on the door a few times, then heard footsteps coming down
stairs, and someone in their early 20s opened the door. "Terribly sorry about that, and you are?" He asked.
"My name is Syn, and she's Aierna, we heard that you are a great Redstone engineer so we wanted to see if we
could get anything." I said.
"Well, I've just finished a portable TnT cannon, it's quite small, and very powerful." He said. "Well do you have
anything of interest to explorers?" Aien said. "I very well might have something of interest, I've also wanted
to go on an adventure myself! But please, do come inside." He said, and we stepped into his house.
*Naerhul*
"So it came along perfectly?" I asked. "Almost, the fusion with the Phoenix bow went a little bad, but other
than that, it's fine, and since you didn't come by for some time after it was done, I decided to make special
arrows and a special quiver." She said. "Well then, tell me, Elizmomen, what kind of 'special' arrows?" I asked.
"You'll see, but for now, atleast try your bow." Eliz said, and handed it to me. "Hmm, obsidian encrusted blaze
rods, a string from hell, jungle, and ice spiders... the highest quality Diamonds and Emeralds, looks like it came
along nicely, and what's this button for?" I asked. "Now that you've mentioned that I'll need to show you the quiver."
Eliz said, and brought it out.
"I made this quiver from a mix of iron and gold, and Ovinev helped me with some Redstone things, even though
he's scared as heck of me." Eliz said. "Good thing he is, I'm sure he knows what happens when you're angry,"
I said. "And could you show me those 'special' arrows now?" "Sure, and just to let you know, normal arrows
will not work with that bow, they're not long or strong enough." She said, and brought some arrows out of
another room.
"Blaze arrows, with obsidian tips and golden feather quills." Eliz said. "Sounds good to me, may I try it out?"
I asked. "One more thing, the button on the bow changes the tip of the arrow, I also made a tip that can fire
enderpearls, TnT, and Redstone torches, and fireworks." Eliz said. "I don't really see a use in the last one,
but oh well, lets go test this thing out!" I said, and left the workshop.
*Syn*
"Here we have the piston and sticky piston boots, with the piston boots you can jump three blocks and a half,
with the sticky piston boots you can walk along ceilings or walls for ten seconds until they lose traction, and
the creation I'm most proud of: The WRE! It can transmit a redstone signal over long distances, atleast, I think
so, sadly, I haven't been able to find out how to make a reciever.... so I'm stuck on that..." Ovinev said.
"It seems stuffy in here to me.... mind if I open a window?" Aien said. "Go ahead." Ovinev said, and Aien
opened a window, and five seconds later an arrow came through it, and hit the wall behind us, and where
it landed Naerhul appeared. "Well, I wasn't sure that would work but it did..." Naer said. "Erm.... what was
that even?" I asked. "An ender arrow, makes much better use of ender pearls than throwing them." Naer said.
That's when I heard a loud clang from the street. "Oh yeah, we also need to leave this town, like, right now."
Naer said. "But why?" I asked. "Remember those shadows that attacked me in the last place? Well, I might
have wounded their controller, but he's still at it, so we need to go." Naer said. "And also, Ovinev, I'm going
to need that portable cannon." "Ok... but why?" And he handed it to Naer. "I'll meet you guys at the northern
gate, I'll see if I can clear the way." Naer said, then jumped out of the window Aien had opened, and then we
headed down the steps, and went to the streets, Ovinev included.
Chapter Eight: Almost There
We had ran from the town, seeing as it was crumbling to the ground now, the same that had happened to previous
town. That's when I saw a mountain in the distance. "Is that Sukoulion's hideout?" I asked. "Pretty sure, and be careful
about it, he is a dragon after all." Naer said. "A dragon? Why'd it have to be a dragon..." Aien said.
"Because, the universe hates us, that's why, well, more of hates you..." Naer said. "How would you know that?"
Aien shouted. "Because, I've talked to the universe, literally." Naer said, calmly. "Well then! You can get your
but out of here ri-" "Aien, be quiet or go blow off some steam elsewhere, I have a feeling we're going to need him..."
I said. "Well FINE! I'll just leave forever!" Aien said, and flew off into the distance. "What was that all about?" I asked.
"Sukoulion's aura, it'll cloud your thoughts and make you angry, once she gets out of its range her head will clear
out." Naer said. "But, how come it isn't effecting us?" Ovinev said. "For some reason it only works on things that
have wings, thus her anger, however, if I remember correctly, each lord has a power that it gives to the slayer
when it dies." Naer said.
"Then what would Sukoulion's power be?" I asked. "Most likely flight or endurance, but don't ask me, I have no
idea." Naer said. "Hey look! She's coming back!" Ovinev said, pointing at a figure in the sky. "That's not her
Ovinev, that's a dragon, and you had better run." Naer said, and then I saw the dragon look down at us.
"Ummm I think we should RUN!" I said, but Naer stayed put. "If your going, then I'll have to fight this guy by myself."
Naer said. "Why do you have to be so stubborn?" I asked, but stood next to him, prepared. Then the dragon opened
its mouth, about to spew fire, then Naer pulled out his bow, pulled out a TnT arrow, and fired, going inside the dragon's
mouth, then its wings started to burn, and it headed back to its cave. That's when Aien came back, holding Ovinev.
'What'd I miss?" She asked, then we climbed the mountain.
Chapter Nine: Showdown With a Dragon (Slightly boring...)
*Syn*
"Are we almost there Naerhul?" I asked, as Aierna had taken Ovinev to a safer place, and hadn't gotten back yet.
"Pretty sure, yes, although the Nether lord might be a problem, altough I cannot tell you why." Naerhul said.
"Eh? Well I see the cave, we're almost there, do you know anything about Sukoulion?" I asked. "Not very much,
but I do know that all of the lords can speak, and sometimes know spells..." He said. "Well, can you tell me about
the powers that the lords might give?" I asked. "Not sure about the dragon lords, but I do know that the Wither
will bestow the Wither effect on the sword that slays it, so that'll be something to bear in mind." He said.
"Well I think that the Enderdragon might bestow the slayer something like flight or something like that." I said.
"On the other hand, only a resident of a certain dimension can defeat a certain lord, but I'm not sure which
dimensions those are." He said, then gave me the katana from his back. "I won't be needing that anymore,
and we've arrived, so lets go kick some dragonhide." He said, then we ran into the cave.
* * *
*Syn*
It was very dark for one, and we had been in here for at least fifteen minutes and hadn't found anything yet, and I
was getting infuriated, so I just yelled: "Sukoulion, where are you!" And I was suprised to be met by a voice that
said: "Its about time you gave yourself away, now you're going to regret it!"
That's when I felt rumbling, and I saw daylight again, I saw that the mountain had been leveled, us on the top, when
I turned around I saw a dragon, a really big one too, except its wings were burnt, and it couldn't fly away.
So I unsheathed my diamond sword and Naerhul pulled out his bow. I charged him while Naerhul notched arrows
and fired them at the dragon's eyes. He roared and shouted: "This is why I hate humans, always little pests!" He said,
then swiped a claw at me.
That's when I heard the sound of something going really fast, then a second later a sword cut off the dragon's head,
and standing before me was Aierna, and then Ovinev soon appeared from his hiding place.
In the ground where the dragon was defeated was a greatsword, Aierna picked it up and said: "This is... Dragonbane?"
A second after she said that the mountain exploded, or rather where the dragon was exploded into a pit into the Nether,
which sucked us in like a black hole.
Book Two: An Accidental Trip to the Nether
Chapter Ten: The Universe Hates Me
*Syn*
A few minutes after we had been sucked in I had blacked out, then I heard a voice: Hero, listen to these words for your
quest, for they may help you to stay alive in hell. The One Who the Universe Hates shall slay the ruler of the dead in
a fierce battle that you must not interfere with or the victor may kill you, the lord of the Nether will be slayed in a very
strange way, but you will not be able to know why. And hero, please, free Carus, my brother from the Nether. Please.
*???*
I was floating in a void, with seemingly endless darkness, atleast to a human's eyes, but what I saw was a vast ocean of stars and constellations that if anyone saw this they would think that they were dreaming. But not me, I knew the purpose of this place very well, after Naillim put three spirits in this body.
I felt the change coming, and knew what was happening as my spirit withdrew into my body, being replaced by the spirit of fire, but his real name, was Arillikama.
* * *
I woke up laying ontop of some Nether bricks, with a Blaze spawner nearby. But the fortress wasn't one I was familiar with, and I knew about every single Nether fortress that existed, but my knowledge of the Nether failed to tell me which one I was in. Then I remembered that there was one fortress I had never been inside before: Herobrine's fortress. I got up with a groan and managed to stand, and jumped back a second before a Ghast broke right through the fortress where I had just been.
Looks like the Universe still hates me... I thought to myself. I decided to see what I had with me and see what weapons I had, if any. So I reached a hand to my back, searching for anything on it, and I felt a handle near the back of my head, so I grabbed it and brought was was attached to it infront of me, and what I saw wasn't what I was expecting: An obsidian scythe about half as long as I was tall, so it was pretty heavy, but I found that I could easily wield it with one hand.
It may have been heavy, but I knew what I could do with it, and what magic was imbued into it, so I put it back on my back and found a sword on my left hip, I drew it and found an obsidian blade with a diamond jeweled golden handle, with markings on the blade which I barely remembered how to read, so I looked at it and it said: "Legacy" I had carved them my self.
I might as well see if I could find Herobrine, although he had not been attacking the Overworld for centuries I had a feeling he was about to, very, very strongly, too.
Chapter Eleven: The Universe Hates Me Part Two
I was walking down hallway after hallway, not seeing anything like Herobrine's throne room. I heard a sound and looked behind me and saw at least ten Wither skeletons charging at me, I took no time to react and threw my scythe at them, bouncing it off a wall and taking out seven of them, I then grabbed my scythe which had bounced back and shot flame at the remaining Wither skeletons, killing them.
After that I heard a voice, calling me, probably to my doom but I went after it, but I looked behing me first and saw that more than half the fortress had been broken off... most likely by the Universe.
I turned my head around one more corner and saw Herobrine ontop of his throne, waiting for me, I wasted no time and charged him, sword drawn, he just reflected the blow I was about to do and went at me with his own sword, I dodged the first and parried the second, then I stabbed him in the chest, making him scream.
Then I got an idea, I threw my scythe at one of the walls of the room, it bouncing around just as I'd hoped, then I continued attacking him again, he managed to get a hit on me and I felt weaker the second after it hit me, and I realized I had the Withering effect, and that was when my scythe sliced off Herobrine's head, and the ground started to shake.
Chapter Twelve: The Real Fight
*Arillikama*
The ground started collapsing, and the block under me was the first to go, so I found my self falling in a void, and I realized three things then; one: killing Herobrine had been too easy. Two: The real Herobrine was probably down here. Three: I was probably going to die from the fall.
I started thinking about what to do, and I looked down, not able to see through the thick fog much, and I thought: Flame might dispell this fog some enough for me to see. So I launched an inferno of flames below me, clearing the fog it touched, and I was able to see the ground, which was growing ever closer, and I threw my scythe behind me without thinking and jumped off of it right before I hit the ground, manipulating my momentum and making my fall much less hard, and I looked up and saw Herobrine sitting atop his throne, and he said: "Well, its such a pity I'll have to kill you, you seem quite smart." And I prepared for battle.
*Syn*
I woke up and immedietly felt a lot of pain, nearly sending me to unconciousness again, but it didn't, and I realized I was almost dead, and I blacked out again.
*Arillikama*
We were ten feet apart from each other, both waiting for the other to strike, and then Herobrine sent in a few zombies, about ten in total, I killed them all in a single blow. "What are you waiting for? Come at me!" He said, and I came at him, or so it looked, I was two blocks away when I slid under him, stabbed him in the back, backflipped over his throne and sliced it in half.
"You'll pay for that!" He said, and in my mind a health bar appeared, a sliver of it taken away, and then he attacked me, getting me this time.
*Syn*
I woke up again, but this time not so much in pain, I looked up to see a zombie pigman inspecting me, I jerked my head up and it scrambled away, and I saw that all around us there were zombie pigmen, but they weren't attacking us. Then one came forward and spoke in a garbled voice: "Follow." And I obeyed, and saw the other zombie pigmen carrying my friends to wherever we were going.
*Arillikama*
He was at half health, I was at half a heart. He laughed and said: "Why don't you leave and I'll spare you, but if you return I'll hand you your head on a stick." "Never." I mumbled, and rose to my feet, looking at him. "This battle... ends here.... right.... now..." I said, he laughed again and said: "How do you suppose to do that?" He said, and I drew energy towards me, and I started lifting from the ground slightly, still drawing energy towards me until there was a white aura around me, then there was a flash and the aura was gone and I was on the ground.
Except I didn't have ice blue eyes or black clothes anymore, my eyes were bright silver and my clothes were white. "H-how?" Herobrine said, I smiled and said: "Going Ethreal is hard for someone who knows little about it, but I've done it before." I said and looked at my health bar: two rows of ten hearts and armor, all full.
Herobrine roared the charged me, a bad idea; I did a broad slice through him at a super sonic speed, and looked behind me at him, his health bar in my mind empty, and he said: "You'll pay for this!" And he turned to ashes, some of his essence coming towards me, trying to turn me into the next lord of the dead, but I did something that I'd judge long after, I made a white shield around me and kept it out of it, then I destroyed it, destroying the lord of the dead aswell.
Chapter Thirteen: Getting Together Again
*Arillikama*
I turned towards the place I had fell into to pick up my scythe, and seeing a wall of zombies blocking the way, I just shot a beam of plasma at them and they fell like flies. I picked up my scythe and decided what to do with the last of my energy from my Ethreal state.
*Syn*
They were leading us to a fortress, the others had woken up and were following my lead: Play along until they told us their intentions, then we could try to escape or play along some more. "What are you here for?" The pigmen leader asked, his voice garbled. "We came to slay the Wither, and try to slay the Sun lord." Aierna said, the pigmen around us looked shocked, all except for the leader. "Fair enough, we can help you, but in return, you must give us the Nether Star after you have defeated it." The leader said, and I nodded.
I heard a grunt and looked over my shoulder to see Ovinev struggling against some pigmen that were holding him, a crazed look on his face, he broke free and ran to an edge and jumped into lava, but I felt a faint disturbance in the air, something evil. Then the Wither appeared in front of us, and most of the pigmen ran away, except the leader and his guards.
*Arillikama*
I was concentrating my energy for one last action, a teleportation, but to where? I searched my outer memories and found a name. Syn. I focused on that name and in a flash of light, teleported to his location, using up the rest of my Ethreal state. Once I wasn't blinded anymore I could see him, he asked "Naerhul?" I replied: "In a way." and drew my sword in my right hand and my scythe in the left.
Chapter Fourteen: Slaying the Wither
*Syn*
My friends and the remaining pigmen got ready to fight, but the Wither had a trick up its sleeve, everyone including me were jerked towards the ceiling of the cave we were in and incased in soul sand, all except for our heads, except one person had moved fast enough that he wasn't caught by it, it was the one who had materialised right next to me.
*Arillikama*
I had seen the soul sand come down on everyone a second before it happened, giving me enough time to dodge it and throw my scythe at the Wither, cutting off one of its heads somehow. "So, if it isn't the flame-bringer I heard about oh, when was it, oh yes, fifty years ago. When you brutally tore me apart!" It said, and threw its left head at me, I dodged and grabbed my scythe, which had been bouncing around the cave.
I went under, over, inbetween, and through the heads it was throwing at me, only one hit which got me when my back was turned, taking down my health by half. That's when I got a crazy idea, I waited for another head to come at me, and caught it with a flame vortex, heating it so that it was hot enough to burn through something, and launched it at the Wither, who had no time to dodge, it hit its chest, right in the middle, exposing a shining crystal, the Nether Star. I launched myself at it, aiming for the Nether Star, with my sword pointed at it. I tore through the Wither with a sickening sound, when I landed on the ground I looked back at the Wither, it was shaking and stuck in a position where it couldn't move.
I looked at my sword, and jumped towards the Wither, sword above my head, I brought it down on his middle head, causing it to explode and throw me onto the ground with a thud. When I came back to my senses the Wither was no more, and the Nether Star was in my hand, in the other my sword, which had a black pulsating glow. It had been enchanted with the Withering effect, and another thing that it could do, which only a few knew.
But first I touched the blade of my sword, it couldn't give me the Withering effect, as I was its true wielder, at least, this body was. I took the Nether star in my left hand, my sword in the right, and struck the Nether Star, shattering it and releasing the imprisoned spirits, and I felt a rush of energy forming at my back, and looked over my shoulder as much as I could to see a ghostly outline of a wing, same on the other side. I smiled and said to myself: "Its about time I got these back." And fell asleep.
Book Three: How to Kill Your Enderdragon
Chapter Fifteen: Learning About the End
Carus, I believe you still owe me a favor. I thought. Indeed I do, and since you've freed me I can grant it, however, and can only merge your's and Naerhul's spirits, Recell is not awakened yet, and he may be the most powerful of the three of you, and only then can you undo this, but I'll try to merge you an Naerhul right now, and I see you got your wings back, aren't they just a way to store massive amounts of energy anyway? Carus said. Yes, and "massive" is an understatement, they can hold enough energy to blow up a planet, although gathering that much would take years, possibly millenia if you don't know how to charge them properly.
And they materialise once you go Ethreal? Carus asked. Yep, and lets get on with the merging.
*Syn*
"Ugh, who knew carrying someone was so hard." I said as Naerhul's head almost came down on a stump. "Well I'm sure it'd be easier if I weren't carrying a sword I can hardly wield on my back and we had more people to help." Aierna said, and I heard a rustling in a bush to my left, we dropped Naerhul and drew our swords as an Enderman emerged. "Wait! I'm not here to harm you!" The Enderman said. "Then what are you here for?" I asked. "To serve the one who slew the Wither, a curse binds me to its power..." It said. "Well, tell us who you are first." Aierna said. "Void, Void Najerilkzor," He said, "So, which of you slayed the Wither?"
"The sleeping beauty behind us." I said, and Void looked over at him. "He slayed the Wither? You've got to be kidding, there's no way he did it with no armor." Void said and walked over to him, standing over him, when Naerhul shot his knee up into Void's chest, launched him into the air slightly with a kick, and brought his sword to his neck, less than an inch away from hitting it. "So, you came back again, what do you want this time?" He said in a growl.
"I came to serve the one who holds the Wither's power." Void said, and Naerhul pulled his sword back a bit. I wonder what Naerhul is thinking about right now... I thought, and he said: "I'm not Naerhul anymore you know, well, technically I still am but call me Arillikama, I'll explain later, but for now, we've got to move!" He said, and threw us all some food, then started running, we figured it best to follow him.
* * *
"Where are we going?" I asked again, after my first attempt failed, and Arillikama stopped. "Down, look out for any Silverfish too." He said, and pulled out a diamond pickaxe and shovel and started digging in a two by two staircase, motioning for us to follow.
It took a bit to find a piece of stone brick, really far from the surface. "This is the Stronghold, I'm sure Void already knows what it is, but we have another purpose here than just looking around." He said, and started digging out a room, placing a furnace and a table in one corner. "I never quite figured out how Minecraftian physics worked, but all I can say is that it's magic, a very strong one." Arillikama said. "Wait, you're not from Minecraft either?" I asked him. "Nope, although you are the reason I'm here, I assume you know what Space is?" He asked. "Uhm, yes, sort of, I haven't really seen any of it except for some stars." I said.
"Hm, speaking of stars I wonder how he's doing..." Arillikama said randomly. "Who?" I asked. "Oh, just thinking out loud, nothing you need to know," He said, "And I think it's time you learned about the End, the home of the Endermen, and the beast that controls them," He said, "And take a seat, this is going to take a while." He said as he stuck some iron bars in a furnace with a bucket of lava.
* * *
"...And that's how the Enderdragon made the End, and the Enderman." Arillikama finished, and took some orange rods from the furnace. "These will do for Blaze powder, since we didn't kill any Blazes in the Nether but oh well." He said, and started grinding them into a bucket, a bowl with twelve Enderpearls beside it.
Chapter Sixteen: noitcelfeR
*Syn* I see you're going to the End, and how about this; we make a deal, if you don't accept I'll make sure you'll never see daylight again. I heard a voice say. Who're you? I thought. That matters not, but if you want to live then you'll help me. It said. With what? I asked. Promise to bring me the Enderdragon's egg and I'll make sure you live. It said. Alright, since I don't really have a choice I'll get it, but how do I give it to you after I have it? I said. Simply bring it to the Aether, I'll do the rest. It said, and withdrew from my dream, but not before I felt a sharp pain in the back of my neck, letting a groan out of my mouth.
*Aierna*
"Hm?" I said, hearing a groan. "Probably just a zombie, don't worry." Void said, putting down a gold ingot on to the table that we were trying to play something with cut and chiseled stone blocks. "What was that?" I heard from Arillikama, just waking up. "A zombie, want to join us?" Void said. "Zombies sound different, that groan was from a human, and it did not sound very friendly." He said. "Well I don't care, going to join us or not?" Void growled. "Everybody hush!" Arillikama said, holding a finger to his mouth, then I heard the sound of TNT being placed. "And that means...?" I whispered. "It means that Void, go buy us some time, Aierna, help me activate the End portal, and bring Syn with you." Arillikama whispered, and grabbed a bowl full of what looked like crystal eyes, he handed me six and said: "Insert them into the slots and look out for Silverfish, stay away from them if possible."
He then started digging towards the portal room, and I grabbed Syn as he wanted me to. "In there!" He whispered to me, pointing towards something above a pool of lava. "Stick the eyes into the slots, once they're all in it should activate." He said, and started putting some eyes into the frame, I did the same and we were almost done, but we heard an explosion. "Stick it in, quickly!" He said, and I almost put it in, if the floor hadn't been pulled into a vortex, almost dragging me into it, but I did the most sensible thing I could think of, I grabbed onto the frame before I was sucked into the vortex, leaving me hanging with my fingers slipping, when I realized that I was still holding onto the last eye, I tried to bring my arm up to put it into the socket but the pull of the vortex was too strong.
"This is the end isn't it?" I asked him. "No, far from it." Arillikama said, grabbing onto my hand with the eye. "Drop it. Now."
He said and I did, and I heard a whooping sound, looking up I saw an enderman sticking the last eye into the socket, pulling me into a void of stars and much more, before I fell unconcious.
* * *
I woke up eventually, thinking I'd still be floating in a void but that was not the case. I opened my eyes, and saw Syn smiling down at me. "You're awake." He said. "Where are we?" I asked. "According to our Guide of the Universe we're at a crossroads of sorts, apparently a defense system to make sure no one gets into the End, atleast not easily." Syn said, and as if to demonstrate Arillikama threw an ice shard over a path I just now saw, a second later the ice shard was shot at by thousands of lasers. How're we supposed to get there then?" I asked, and was answered by Arillikama: "Reflection." "How are we supposed to get in by reflecting?" Syn said. "No, the reflections in the water, look at them, they look quite real, don't they?" Arillikama said. "Well what's that supposed to mean?" I asked. "Touch the water, infact, grab it." He said, making no sense at all, but I did it and was suprised to find I was pulled into.... a reflection? I looked back at where Arillikama was and saw him, except he looked like a ghost.
"You should be seeing us as ghosts, the same we see you, but you're really in a reflection, but move fast along the path and wait for us in the non-reflected world at the other side, we'll be joining you soon." Arillikama said, motioning for me to go across the path. "Are you sure its safe for her?" I heard Syn say. "Yes, it is, because Enderman can't go into reflections like this, therefore they can't put up turrets in the reflected realm, although she might feel a little tingle when the lasers go through her ghost that signifies that she still exists in this dimension." Arillikama said as I finished crossing and went back into the normal realm. "Syn, your turn." Arillikama said, and waited for him to finish crossing. "Be there in a minute." He said, and went into the reflection world, coming out thirty seconds later. "Void is waiting for us at the end of the crossroads, lets go."
Chapter Seventeen: An Old "Friend"
*Syn*
"Void, you have been scouting, correct?" Arillikama asked him. "Yes, and there are a lot more Endermen than you thought, there's millions of them! If we try to assault the dragon, then we'd be chopped up before we could even say 'A.'" Void said, and I heard a distinct "pop" behind me, and before I knew it I was on the floor and a black head flew over me. "The Wither?!" I heard someone say. "I thought Arillikama killed him!" I said. "Ah, but that was simply a decoy with a fraction of my power that would grow over time, and I would absorb it to grow my power!" The Wither said, and shot out two black beams, one going to Arillikama's sword and Void, the beam absorbed Arillikama's sword, and the other went into Void, and pulling him towards the Wither.
"Now that I'm reincontrol of Void and I've gotten my powers back, this fight will be easy for me!" He said, and Arillikama snapped and said: "You! I remember you, Waitriliokan, the battle of the dimensions, you were a commander of the Nether fortress of Alenen, one of largest forts in the war, but your soldiers were completely decimated, while I decimated the Blaze commander... Ah, yes, I remember how powerful I was back then, and how lively the now forbidden dimensions were, and then the Aether revealed itself and stopped the war, and the Sun God stored all of the commander's powers in the Ancient Orb, which the Ancient Sun God stole it, and someone from the human world slew the Sun god..." Arillikama said.
"So you remembered the story, but what does it matter-" I heard a whoosh and Waitriliokan was in a stunned expression, I looked over at Arillikama and I saw his eyes close, and saw behind the Wither a shadow that resembled him, a sword made out of lightning in the Wither's back, Arillikama opened his eyes and said: "Glad to get that over with. Lets get into the End, Void, you okay?" Arillikama said. "Yeah, but I still feel a bit weird, I might not be able to teleport for awhile." Void said. "No worries, you won't need to for a little." Arillikama said and walked over to the spot where the Wither died, and I saw something I hadn't noticed before: there was a scythe in the ground, with a black blade that eminated darkness. "Ah, I was wondering what the true weapon of the Nether was, lets continue onwards into the End now." Arillikama said, and started walking towards what I presumed to be the End.
Chapter Eighteen: Down With the Dragon (Part One)
*Void*
I was waiting for them at the end of the crossroads, the true portal to the End behind me, I could see them in the distance but they weren't too close, so I waited. And waited. Until they finally reached me. "Its about time." I said. "Doesn't help that we were held up by some Enderman, but lets just get this over with." Syn said, and jumped into the portal, Aierna following. "Just be aware that if you die, this journey is over, and all of the worlds will endure eternal day for all of eternity, atleast, until the next generation of heros are born." Arillikama said casually, and jumped in the portal, followed by me.

The moment I entered the End, I heard explosions, I was on a platform over the End's void, I saw Syn and Aierna attempting to build up to the Ender crystals but the Dragon kept destroying whatever they built. I pulled out my scythe and teleported towards the mainland, throwing it once I was on it at the Enderdragon, hitting and clipping off a small part of its wing, making it roar, and turn to face me. "You, the traitor! I will make sure that your limbs are stripped, one by one." The Enderdragon told me telepathically, then started charging towards me, and I realised that some Enderman had caught my scythe and were trying to get Syn.
The Enderdragon was about five meters away before a scythe whipped by and clipped some of the webbing on a wing off, making the Enderdragon fall to the ground on its side, sliding a bit before it stopped and got up. I heard a growl and suddenly I was pushed to the ground, my own scythe against my neck. "The traitor shall die!" The Enderman said, and pushed the end of my scythe harder against my neck when I saw a beam of light go up, and come back down right on the Enderman who had my scythe against my neck, also creating a shockwave that blasted the other surrounding Enderman away, and standing above me was Arillikama, holding a hand down to me, two scythes in the other.
I grabbed his hand and he pulled me up, handing me my scythe. "Pretty sure you're going to need that, and do try to take out the Ender crytals first, otherwise the Enderdragon can't be killed." He said, then ran towards a tower with an Endercrystal on it, I watch him a while longer to see him jump at it, his pick and scythe in his hands, he started climbing up. I teleported to one of the towers to be immediatly pushed back off it with a lot of force, I teleported again in midair, going to a different tower and swinging my scythe in front of me this time, catching some Enderman off guard and pushing them off the edge, I broke the crystal just as the Ender dragon was right by me, blasting me off the edge and blasting one of its wings off.
I teleported onto the ground and felt a thud, and looked behind me to see the Enderdragon about to spew violet flames at me, I had a second to react but I was too late, I dropped down and rolled to my right but I was still burned by the flames. I looked at my left side to see it darker then usual, and I also felt an extreme pain. I looked around for the Enderdragon but saw it too late, it pounced on me and stuck a claw in my throat. "Today the traitor dies." It said telepathically, and broke the Enderpearl inside my throat, making my vision go black.

"Void!" I heard Aierna yell, and I looke back to see Void's corpse on the ground, the Enderdragon roared, it had won, or so it thought. A crack appeared in the very fabric of reality, opening just ever so slightly that a tiny black creature was able to fit through, it was the ugliest thing I had ever seen, it looked like a small dragon but it was distorted, it was just vile, then it headed towards the Enderdragon, going inside of it, and the Enderdragon started changing, starting at its tail a black armor type thing started covering its body, the Enderdragon tried to resist but it was no use, the black armor ingulfed it, and once it was done the eyes of it were black, and its claws sharper, its teeth sharper, but its wings had been shed, making it unable to fly. "Looks like we have a tough battle ahead of us." I heard someone say, and Arillikama materialised next to me, "Invisibility potions come in handy when in the End." He said, and Aierna landed on my right side. "I'm ready." She said, and we prepared for battle.
Chapter Nineteen: The Dragon Falls (Part Two)
*Arillikama*
"Alright, first of all we need to lure it away from Void, he's not dead yet but he will be very soon." I said. "Well what are you going to do, strike him with lightning?" Syn asked. "No, more like getting his spirit awake again." I said, holding up a sliver of his Enderpearl that I had found on our first night together, after Void had tried to kill Syn under control of the Wither. "The Dragon's coming!" Aierna said, and pulled out Dragonbane. "Distract it." I said, drinking an invisibility potion and heading towards Void's corpse, dodging a tail swing and a claw swipe, apparently it could tell I was there. I can see you little man, come out come out wherever you are... The Dragon said, taking another swipe at me, but I was almost to Void.
"Hey dragon, you want a piece of this?" Aierna said, and swiped Dragonbane across its body, making it recoil in pain, but by now I was at Void's body, and I turned his head around to spill the Enderpearl dust out of his mouth, then I started to get to work, forming a Enderpearl out of dust, working until it was done, except for one place, which was missing the sliver of Void's Enderpearl, I placed it into the Enderpearl that I had formed out of dust, and watched it become a real Enderpearl.
I shoved it down Void's throat, and he started coughing. "What the...? What happened?" He said, and I replied, "Lets just say I woke you up, now get up and start fighting!" I said, unsheating my sword, and realised that it was just a hilt... "Oh yeah, I forgot about that... Well that problem will be solved once Sparky takes over, but for now, I'll just go with my scythe." I said, drawing my scythe and charging into battle.

*Void*
We were all worn down, even the Dragon, but we were still far from winning, Aierna was too tired to use Dragonbane anymore so she switched to her normal sword, which did less damage to it obviously. "This is impossible, even if we weren't tired its impossible..." Aierna said. "By now there's only one way to do it, and I need my full energy to do it, if I'm tired it won't work." Arillikama said. "Then do it!" Syn yelled. "Alright then, distract it." Arillikama said, then took out an Enderpearl and went to the top of a tower, leaving us to fight the dragon.
"Great, how long until-" Syn was saying, when I saw ice forming something above the dragon, and saw Arillikama forming it. "What's he doing?" Aierna said, and by then I realised what the shape was, a cannon, but what did it fire? And then it hit me... Water, it's going to fire water! I need to get out of here... I thought, then teleported away, Aierna and Syn running away too, and then the cannon fired, blasting the Enderdragon with water until it was dead, but it didn't explode like it was supposed to. And then Arillikama used an Enderpearl to get back onto the ground, but by then the water had stopped flowing and he had wiped the cannon out of existence. He pulled out an iron bar and a stick and made a dagger and started to cut the Enderdragon's scales off.
"Why are you doing that?" Syn asked him. "Because, remove the scales and get what's inside, namely the dragon egg, and the way to get out of here." He said, then cut into the Enderdragon's body, and the moment he made the hole a small black and grey orb came out, pulsing, he grabbed it, a look of pain on his face and said quickly: "Anyone got a jar or something hollow?" And Aierna replied, "Yes, I do, let me get it out." She said, pulling out a jar and unscrewing the lid, which once she had Arillikama stuck whatever he had in his hands into it, and closed the jar. "Ah, I never thought holding Dark Essence would hurt so much..." He said, massaging his hands.
"What's Dark Essence?" Aierna asked. "Its what Darklings are made of, well, sortof, their spirit is Dark Essence, their body is compressed fears, hatred, things like that." Arillikama said. "Sounds happy." Syn said, then also asked: "How do we get out of here?" And just at that moment Arillikama pulled out a Dragon egg and what looked like an Eye of Ender, except it looked different. "Everyone stand close, this is a one way trip to the Overworld, do make sure to hold on." He said, gathering us in a circle and breaking the Eye or whatever it was in his hand, and it carried us up in a bubble, I looked down and saw Endermen waving at us, some having.... A party? "If you didn't know, the Enderdragon used mind control on the Endermen, making them hate it, they're relieved that they're finally free." Arillikama said.

*Syn*
"Ah, finally, we're back on the surface." I said. "Now we have the trouble of finding a portal to the Aether." Void said. "Eh, not quite, I know a few places to get to the Aether, but for now we have a bigger problem." Arillikama said, and pointed towards an army of mobs, Zombies, Skeletons, Spiders. We were in for a long fight.
Book Four: The Aether's Rage
Chapter Twenty: A Sacrifice Must be Made
*Arillikama*
I noticed that there was a Nether portal that the army was facing towards, which meant... Herobrine, back from the dead came out of the portal, and he looked at me, and the army parted, and stairs made of stone formed in front of me, going down from the mountain we had came to after we came out of the End.
"Come forth, and prove that you are truly worthy of the title of 'Slayer of the Lord of the Dead.'" Herobrine said, gesturing to me to come forth, and I walked down the stairs, slightly hesitant, it felt like it was a trap... I looked back and saw that the army had closed behind me, and saw dark portals appearing all over the army, Darklings coming out, going into the mobs and turning them into dark versions of themselves, which were much stronger, and I saw one going into Herobrine.
"You will die today, whether you take me with you or not, it doesn't matter. For I shall live on!" Herobrine said, and started charging towards me, and I pulled out my scythe, and reformed it into a crude sword, and got ready for Him.
He made the first attack by trying to launch me onto the ground, but I dodged and cut at his back, scratching him, but that's when it all changed, he lashed out with darkness, launching me onto the ground this time, and summoning a Darkling, and I knew what he was going to do, and I prepared myself as the Darkling went into me, filling me with dark energy.
"Now you're going to die from all of the opposing force inside of your body, and you'll be too weak to even stand." Herobrine said, and ended with a laugh. "Now, that's where you'd be most wrong." I said, and stood up with some difficulty, and held my hand up, focusing all the dark energy to it, but my vision was going black around the edges, I would be dead soon.
"I will kill you no matter what!" Herobrine said, and tried to cut me open with his sword, but I focused the dark energy into a vortex, a minature black hole, which sucked Herobrine in, along with the army of mobs, and they were sealed in it, but with one problem: I had to sacrifice myself to keep Herobrine in an eternal fight, I looked back at my friends, and waved goodbye for possibly the last time, then entered the black hole, expelling the Darklings into Dark Essences, then closed the vortex, taking me with it.
Chapter Twenty-One: To The Aether!
Chapter Twenty-One: To The Aether!
*Syn*
I saw him sucking Herobrine into the vortex that he had made, then going inside to keep him sealed in where ever they went for as long as he could. "So, what do we do now? Give up?" Void asked. "No, we have to continue, this is technically my quest you know, so I will continue even if you guys give up." I said, and started scaling down the cliff, and started gathering glowstone that was randomly scattered around the ground of the battlefield.
I started constructing the portal to the Aether, when Void and Aierna walked up beside me. "Did you think you could lose us that easily?" Aierna said, and started helping me construct the portal, when Void said: "Guys, I think you should come over here." So I walked over and saw a scythe and a sword crossed in the ground, the sword loooked like it belonged in the End, and I knew the scythe was the weapon of the Nether, there was also a bunch of Dark Essences surrounding them, so Aierna pulled out the jar with the one from the Enderdragon, and started putting them in there.
"So, what are they?" Void asked. "I think the weapons of the End and the Nether." I said, and Void picked up the sword., and I picked up the scythe. "So then, now we go to the Aether." I said, a bucket of water in my hand.
* * *
I went into the watery portal, coming out into the Aether.... Wet, very wet, I looked back into the portal to see Void, coming through screaming and running around, I looked into my pockets to find a splash potion of healing II, So I threw it at Void
who had stopped running around and screaming, then he looked at his surroundings in awe, and Aierna came out and said: "It may be beautiful, but that's why its called a 'Hostile Paradise.'" A few seconds after Aierna said that, I felt a small gust of wind going past my ear, as if something had shot something at me...
"Syn, look out!" I heard Aierna say, and turned around, bringing my sword up in a defensive manner when I saw what had attacked me: A big green and purple bird that shot darts, and randomly it got struck by lightning, which also almost blasted me off of the island the portal had spawned us on.
"Okay, that was very random and not expected..." Aierna said, and started exploring the island we were on a bit.
Chapter Twenty-Two: We Meet The Lord Of Thunder
*Syn*
"Guys, I think I see something!" I heard Aierna shout. "What is it?" I asked. "It looks like some sort of palace, should we try to get to it?" She said. "Well, some exploring needs to be done so why not!" I said, walking towards where Aierna was, and saw what she meant by "Palace", I saw a giant structure on clouds, wind visibly blowing around it, this wasn't like anything I had seen that had been described as palace before, it was much more magnificent than that, when lightning shot from the top of the palace, coming down right behind us, and as I looked back I saw the charred remains of a green and purple feather.
"Well, whoever is up there is either on our side, or has really bad aim" Void said, walking up to us. "You know, I just realised that you two can get there easily and I'm stuck with the hard way, well, than again..." I said, trailing off when I looked at my belt, a grappling hook attatched to it I had had it for since I was twelve years old, and even then I had been taught how to use a sword properly, as my grandfather had instructed my father to teach me about combat, the modern world was such a strange one.
When I came back out of my mind Aierna was flying towards it and Void had already teleported to it. Well, there's no beating Void at getting somewhere, obviously, but I can at least try to beat Aierna. I thought, and started looking at the floating islands surrounding the palace, plotting my course, when I saw a clear path, and got a run up and jumped, throwing my grapple towards the first island in my path, then retracting the grapple and throwing it towards the second island, overtaking Aierna as I did, and eventually going under the third island, and swung towards the clouds of the palace, Aierna landing a second after me.
"Why haven't you used that before?" Aierna asked, looking at my grappling hook. "I forgot about it, even though I brought it, and I'm pretty sure I forgot some other things I brought as well." I said, then gestured towards towards the gate of the palace, walking towards it, and when I was in front of it it opened, letting me see the interior of it, which had clouds for the floor, for stairs, essentially it was all made out of clouds, which was amazing, then again, this was the Aether, a hostile paradise.
"Well, this is.... interesting." Aierna said, and I saw a ghostly figure heading towards us, when it was right in front of us it said: "The master would like to see you." It said with a male voice, and lead us to a big room near the top of the palace, with stairs leading up to the roof, I also saw a chair, I assumed that someone was sitting in it, and I heard whoever was sitting in it say: "Nearilleam, you are excused." And the ghost that had lead us here vanished, and the man in the chair stood up and turned around, showing us a face that looked like Arillikama's.
"Why do you decieve us, and show us the face of the friend we lost!" I said, not in a very friendly manner. "The thing is about that, two thirds of his soul was sucked into the Eternal Vortex, while one, sleeping part of his soul was still in his body, which was taken to the Aether, does that ring a bell?" The man said. "So, you're the spirit of Wind, I presume?" I asked him. "Yes, that would be true, although my real name is Recellai Noclaimus Tresculamis Zhrackten, Third Lord of Thunder and Lord of The Cloud Palace, or you can just call me Sparky." Sparky said, having our jaws dropping at the legth of his name.
"You may want to stop staring and get ready for the place we're going, namely a dungeon." Sparky said, walking up the stairs we saw when we first came in. "Come now, I have a few things to show you." He said, and we went up the stairs after him.
Chapter Twenty-Three: The Sword of Crystal
He led us to a launch bay looking thing with purple transparent blocks in the bays, and Sparky explained what they were: "Purple Aerclouds, they propel you in a certain direction which is specified one placed." He said, guesturing towards the purple blocks.
"Well, what do we do with them?" I asked, and he replied: "We go to the Bronze dungeon and kill the Slider, get to the Altar of Purity and combine the weapons of the Dimensions, so that we can defeat the one who is causing all this chaos." He finished.
"So, essentially we're going to get launched by these purple clouds and try to find the dungeon?" I asked him. "No, I already found the dungeon, we just need to get inside, which I sort of know where the entrance is, follow me." Sparky said, and stepped into a launch bay, which flung him up and forwards into the distance, Aierna went next, then Void, then me, which was the least happy to do this, I hopped in and went flying towards my destination, which I saw was going to be very painful, when I landed I almost sprained my ankle. "I blame you." I said, pointing at Sparky.
"Well sorry, I'm not used to people who can take fall damage, though then again, I do have Gravitite boots on all the time..." Sparky said, looking down at his pink Gravitite shoes. "Well, what do they do?" I asked him, and he replied: "Prevents fall damage so long as I'm wearing them, otherwise I'd probably break my legs a few times." I started looking round where we landed, and I soon saw a small structure with a staircase leading down. I started walking towards it and the others followed.
"This it?" I asked. "Yes, this is the entrance, anyone feel they need armor?" Sparky said, and we all shrugged. "No armor it is, and into the depths." He said, and we plunged into the dungeon.

I was fighting a giant gear that kept shooting gears at me, this was the last miniboss that held a key, which I was sent to dispatch. I doged and turned and waited until it was at ground level to strike, I kept repeating this until it was dead, and dropped a silver key with a cog shape on the top.
As I walked towards the others a bunch of sentinels came out of the ground and tried to get me but I was too fast for them and I had wiped them all out in the blink of an eye. As I inserted the last key into the door I got my pickaxe that I had found in the dungeon ready. As the door opened I was able to see a big block in the middle, it seemed to be made completely ot of stone, except for a blue spiral in the middle, akin to a sentinel. Sparky drove a pickaxe into it with enough force to wake it up, the Slider started, well, sliding at him, but he kept his distance enough that the Slider couldn't get him but he could reach it.
And then it all went wrong, the spiral on the Slider went red and it started getting chaotic, and faster, Sparky could barly out run it, making it difficult for him to damage it, that's when I sized is up: Sparky had dug a rather large hole in the Slider for possibly a reason I was about to find out, I got my pickaxe and jumped into the path of the Slider, and threw the pickaxe into the hole Sparky had made, the sharp part went into the Slider and I presumed it hit it's core, as it blew up shortly after the pickaxe went in.
As I walked over to the smoldering heap of stone I noticed a bronze key, I picked it up and put it into a lock in the place where the Slider had been before the battle, inside was not a chest, but a square tube leading down to a room far below, which I lowered myself into once I had hooked my grapple on the ceiling. Void just teleported down, Sparky just outright fell and Aierna glided down. Once we were in the way in disappeared, leaving us in a room with an altar in the middle, which had indentions in it in the shape of a sword, a scythe, a great sword, and a dagger, I realized that it had the exact same shapes of the weapons of the dimensions, I stuck the scythe in, Void stuck the Ender sword in, Aierna stuck Dragonbane in, and Sparky put the Dagger of Lightning in, and they all just disapperead with a particle storm.
"Well, they just disappeared, now what?" Void asked Sparky. "Wait a second, alright? The legends about the Sword of Crystal say that if you believe it's there, it will be so." Sparky said, and I looked at the middle of the altar, where there seemed to be a hole just big enough for a sword to fit in. Out of curiosity, I grabbed at where the sword's handle would be, and I was surprised when I felt something.
As I started grabbing whatever it was I had touched, a faint outline of a sword appeared, the tighter I gripped it the more real it became, and as I pulled it out of the altar it had fully materialized and I saw what it was: A sword made of a blue and greenish crystal, as I touched the blade caustiously my finger came back with a fine cut, that told me that the blade was very sharp.
As the others started looking back at me I simply said: "I found it."
Chapter Twenty-Four: Last Preparations
*Syn*
"So, what do we do now?" I asked no one in particular. "Prepare for the battle ahead." Aierna said knowingly. "You've done this before, haven't you?" I asked her. "Yes, once, when your grandfather had come and killed the Sun God." Aierna said. "So, that makes you around two hundred years old?" I asked her. "A bit more, but yes, I'm pretty old compared to other Valkyries." Aierna replied.
"We should focus on the task at hand, getting fully prepared for the last battle." Sparky said. "What all do we need though?" I asked him. "Armor, weapons for the rest of us, water buckets, possibly some rings or necklaces." He said. "Well then, lets get started." I said. "I know where some more dungeons are, but one has a large amount of energy eminating from it, I suggest we go there." Sparky said, and so we followed him.
* * *
We had defeated all the guardians protecting the keys, and now we were about to open the door to the room with the Slider.
"So, everyone ready, and has a good pickaxe?" Sparky asked us, and we all replied: "Yes." And we all stuck the keys we had gotten in the hole, except instead of the Slider, there was a shadow, but I only caught a glimpse of it before it disappeared and left a Slider with a purple spiral in it's place.
"Did anyone else see that?" I asked, and got some confused looks. "Saw what?" Void asked. "A shadow, did anyone else see it?" I asked, and everyone else shook their heads. "Are you sure you saw something?" Aierna asked me. "I'm sure, but it looked strange, I could tell it had a form but I couldn't see it." I said in reply, and a second after I said that the Slider moved, going from a purple spiral in the middle to a black one, and it went after me, expanding a bit the closer it got.
It was coming at me really fast, and the only thing I could think of was to jump, kick off of it, jump off of the wall behind me, take out my pickaxe and drive it straight into the Slider, killing it with one blow. "What was that about?" Sparky asked me. "I get the feeling someone wants me dea, maybe two." I said, picking up the key and putting it into the slot in the raised blocks in the middle of the Slider's room, and lowering my self down to the chest.
I opened the chest to find a stone that had white glowing cracks in it, I pulled it out of the chest and got back up into the room the Slider was in. "What would this be?" I asked, holding up the stone. "I believe that would be what was giving off all the energy I felt." Sparky said. "Well, what's it's purpose?" I asked him, and he replied: "I have no idea, but in order to use it it needs to be powered by something with an immense source of power." "Well then, I guess it's time to fight the maker of chaos as you call him." I said, walking towards the exit of the dungeon.
Chapter Twenty-Five: And so The Battle Begins
Sparky, Aierna and Void had run ahead of me to scout for the Sun God's place, but as I was exiting the dungeon I felt the familiar click of a pressure plate, and the hiss of TNT, my walk broke into a run and as I passed my friends I shouted: "Bombs!" And continued running towards the edge, which I jumped off blindly, and luckily landed on another island, rolling as soon as I touched the ground.
Just as the others jumped off the entire island exploded into bits of dirt. "What in the world was that?" I asked. "A trap." Aierna replied. "So, did you guys see anything related to him?" I asked them. "Yeah, I saw something that looked like an altar on an island, best bet is that that summons him." Sparky said, pointing towards an island in the distance.
"So then, we go there?" I asked him. "Yes, we might as well, but I have no idea how to summon him." Sparky said, and I started placing down some purple Aerclouds in the direction of the island, putting a few that went up at the end. "Let's go." I said, then jumped onto the Aerclouds and got blasted to the island.
*???*
I blocked a blow with my sword and struck back, He blocked and blasted me back. "You'll never defeat me, Myyrok, I am immortal!" Herobrine said, and I replied: "And yet I can keep you down here forever." I said, striking at Him again. He blocked and pushed me off my feet, and said: "You'll never be able to live again after I am done with you!" Herobrine said, pulling out a sword with two blades in a curve, one on top of the other, and the blades were bloodred.
I knew what it was immediatly. "Blood Reign, how did you happed to get a hold of a Kjarin Octulin Herobrine?" I asked him. "I was the one who ordered the creation of it, therefor, it belongs to me." Herobrine said, brandishing it at my neck, ready to kill me, but I acted faster, I swung my feet at his legs, tripping him, then as he was falling I grabbed the blade from his hand, and drove it into his heart, this time, really killing him.
*Syn*
I had just landed on a Quartz platform, and I saw two giant braziers, one with a blue flame, one with a red flame, and Sparky landed beside me. "The flames of the spirits Carum and Carus, legend says that as long as the flames burn the spirits are imprisoned inside this dimension." Sparky said, looking at the flames lost in memory.
"Anything else you would like to share?" I asked him, and he replied: "The legends also say that the 'Nightmare' will be released, but there is no mention of a nightmare in any legend." Sparky said, and in the middle and slightly in front of the braziers, was a square of blocks in a 3x3 shape with glass in the middle, which a beam of light shone through.
"Is that... The summoning altar?" I asked, pointing at the square. "Place the Dragon egg on it and we'll find out." Sparky said, guesturing for me to do it, so I walked over to it, and placed the Dragon egg. It seemed to absorb the beam of light and it shone, and with an explosion of great force, the Sun god appeared, facing us, it summoned a sword made of lava, then spoke in a deep voice: "Only He may fight me!" He shouted, and then Aierna, Void, and Sparky were all in cages, Void tried teleporting out but it wouldn't work, nothing would, I would have to do this alone.

Chapter Twenty-Six: And So It Ends
I readied my sword, the Sun god did the same, I charged him but he easily deflected my blade, using the momentum of the counter to make a blow himself, I tried to dodge but the hilt of his sword banged my arm with force, and I heard a distinct crack, and my arm started to hurt, thankfully it was my left arm, but it still hurt badly, but my right arm was still fine, and I planned to keep it that way.
I stabbed at his chest, he deflected it but it went into his arm, and he howled in pain, but blasted me back with heat, burning my face a bit, I got out a bow I had taken from a skeleton a long while back and shot five arrows at him, they all melted but they made him flinch a bit, he the threw four balls of fire and one ball of ice, which I deflected back at him, freezing him for a second, the a smaller version of him appeared and started attacking me.
I dug my gravitite sword into it, which made it float up, when it landed it died, and I focused on him again, this time sliding underneath him and driving my sword into his back, which made him turn around and blast me back with heat again, this time I fell onto my back, and I quickly got up but I was on the edge, I looked back and saw a purple Aercloud underneath me.
The Sun god was leisurly floating towards me and swinging his sword, when he raised it above his head, ready to strike at me, I fell backwards onto a purple Aercloud which I had saw a few seconds ago, and it blasted me towards a cold Aercloud which launched me up, but kept my momentum, I then found myself on yet another purple Aercloud, but this time it blasted me towards him.
He looked behind himself and saw me rocketing towards him, I did the only thing that went into my mind, I shot my leg out just as he was about to slice me out of the air, my leg connected with his chest and he shattered into hundreds of pieces, only problem was that I was being carried off the platform with my momentum, I threw and Ender pearl back at it, barely managing to hit it with it. I felt a slight pain in my legs, not to serious, then I looked down and saw that someone his heart had survived the impact, and my foot had caught it.
My friends were released, and I felt a rumbling, and I looked down to see the ground getting closer.... or the island going down. "Guys, we're falling!" I told them, and in the middle of the platform, the Sun god's heart was glowing, I ran towards it, but I tripped, but my sword was propelled through the air, and it hit the heart, and the last thing I saw was a white flash that temporarily blinded me and made me unconcious.

*Syn*
I awoke, and instead of ground under my feet, I was floating, and once I became concious of my surroundings, I was startled,
I was floating through a rip in space, similar to the portal to the world of Minecraftia, but uncontrolled, and chaotic, but it looked amazing, with colors flashing through it, and portals into different dimensions.
I started looking around at all the different worlds, when a small white flaming ball came out of one, somehow I knew it was alive, but it looked scared, running away from something... It zipped into a window and came out another one faster than I could register it going into the first one, it did this a few more times and ran into me.
Help! It asked me in my thoughts, and I asked back: What are you, and what are you running from? I'm a Vyriom, and my name is Xynon, and I'm running from them! It said, and turned I guess you could say, towards multiple monsters, with a circular mouth, a body with twisted hairs, a hideous face, and a tail that had a spike at the end.
Xynon hid from them behind me, but I had no way to defeat them, when I saw my sword nearly pass out of reach, I grabbed it and one of them charged, tail preparing to strike, and I readied my sword, ready to deflect it, but when I did I got pushed back a little, and that's when I found out just how awkward moving in here was without just drifting for me.
It charged again, but this time I did a cartwheel-ish thing and dodged it, and dug my sword into it's side, making it howl in pain and disintegrate, I felt a slight tingling in my hand and looked at my sword, it was no longer made of crystal, it looked like it was made of pure white light, and I looked in my pocket, and found the stone with white glowing cracks break, but some of the cracks left the stone when it broke, and started to take the shape of a letter in some ancient alphabet, that looked like a six pointed star, four points going horizontally, and two points going diagonally from bottom left to top right.
I looked up to see one of the creatures just about to hit me, and I barely managed to stab it in the face before it hit me, killing it. I looked at my right hand again, the markings had made a circle in the middle of the star thing, and at the points of each tip were a bit of a circle, but there wasn't a whole circle, as I pondered on the meaning of what the mark meant, I got ready for the last two monsters, which charged me at the same time, and as they neared me, both of them aiming at me in the same spot, a few seconds before they would hit me I propelled myself forward and stabbed my sword into the one on my right, and I saw a sword similar to the one I had do the same thing I was doing with my sword, but on the other one.
As the monsters stopped, both of them dead and disintegrating, I saw the other sword disappear, and as I looked down at my hand the bit of circle on the top point was faded and transluscent, and as the sword fadad the bit of circle went back to normal, blazing a bright white. You did it! Xynon told me, though I had forgotten that it was there. What were those things, and what's with the markings on my hand? I asked Xynon, and it replied: Those things eat my kind, only the white ones though, they don't go for the black ones, and as for the markings, I think they're of Kjarin. Xynon told me.
Okay then, I guess you can go back to where you came from now? I asked it. No, I was banished, and even in banishment they can still find you, and may I ask, may I come with you? Xynon asked me. I suppose, but first of all, where is the portal to earth? I asked him, and he lead me to a portal, and I went through it, not expecting to be about one hundred feet in the air...
*Aierna*
"Uhg, what happened?" I asked my self, coughing up dust, and I looked around, Syn and Sparky were gone, and previously floating islands were on the ground surrounding the quartz platform we were on. As I looked around some more I saw an unconcious black body. "Void!" I shouted, and ran to him. His face was bloodied, and one of his arms looked broken, but he was still breathing, and I realized that I couldn't feel my wings, and I looked back, to see that most of the feather's were burnt near the tip, but were otherwise okay.
The nerves in my wings were probably numb, but as I looked to my right, the two flames that were burning when we first arrived were barely still burning, a little flame in both of them, and then they went out, and a shadow seemed to appear above and in the middle of them, and as I looked harder I saw a face with red eyes, that was all I could see before it ripped open a hole in space and disappeared, but I saw two spheres of heat get taken with it.
*The Sea of Stars*
I withdrew from the star, and I felt someone or something behind me. I looked back and saw someone I hadn't seen in a long time. "Naillim." I said, and the person nodded. "It's been many years since I did what I did to you, and now I see that you'll need your combined form soon, so I give you back your form, and your powers, for the Nightmare will soon rise." Naillim said, and my head felt fuzzy, I blinked and she was gone, just a sliver of her power left in the air, and I heard a faint voice: Be ready, Craeus, be ready.
Epilogue
One-hundred feet in the air, and falling, and I tried to land on my feet, which was a big mistake, I landed and I heard an audible crack, followed by a great pain in my legs and arms. I screamed loudly, and the last thing I saw before passing out was an ambulance coming down the road...
* * *
I woke up in an emergency room, my legs and arms cut open, and I could tell I was heavily drugged so that I didn't feel much pain, out of the corner of my eye I saw and X-Ray of my body, and in it my bones in my arms and legs were broken to bits, and I knew that there was no chance of repair for them.
I looked at what some doctors were doing, and saw a teleporter, and a holographic picture of my unbroken bones, they turned it into a blueprint and one of them took it and went out of the room, and I went into unconciousness once more.
* * *
I awoke in a hospital bed, with a wide array of flowers on a bedside table, with a note hanging on one of them that said: "Get well soon!" -Eria and Jacob, some of my friends I had made in school. I looked down at my arms to see that they were wrapped up in bandages, still hurting, but much less.
I heard a bing and the door to my room opened, and a nurse came in with a mug in her hand, and she came to beside my bed and put it down on the table the flowers were on, and asked me: "Anything I could get you? You've been asleep for about two days now." She said in a sweet voice. "Some water would be nice." I told her, and she nodded and went out of the room.
I started to inspect my body, and saw that I had a lot of bandages on my legs and arms, and a few on my chest.
A doctor came in, followed by the nurse that had came in a few seconds ago, and the doctor pulled a chair which I hadn't noticed out of a corner, closer to my bed.
He pulled out a piece of paper and and said: "Your name is Syn, correct?" He asked me, and I nodded. "Well then, I might as well tell you about when you can leave, and how we're going to fix your limbs." He said, looking down at his piece of paper.
"Well, you might as well get started then." I told him, and he began: "When you came falling out of the sky or whatever happened, when you landed instead of your bones fragmenting and killing you, the impact seemed to have been changed into hitting your limbs from the side, and not the foot, which is how you survived, as for what happened to them, they had been shattered, and there was no way to repair them, but some doctors had been expirimenting with replacing shattered bones with exact replicas made of a stronger material which they had found, which is extremely dense, but doesn't weigh more than one pound for each inch of it compressed together."
He took a deep breath and continued: "What we learned of the material was that it came from an asteroid from far away, possibly a few galaxies far away, but somehow it landed on earth, with a lot of the metal, which they named: 'Moridus' and they decided to try to make some metal out of it, but even the hottest furnace couldn't melt it, and there was only one thing that they thought would melt it, lava, so they took a small piece of the ore and dunked it into a bit of lava, and it melted, but instead of having to seperate it, they poured it into a mold and it all turned into metal."
He took out a small bottle of water and took a few sips of it, and I did the same with my water. "Well, anyway, they took as thin as a sheet as they could make, and fired a bullet at it to see how strong it was, and the bullet broke as soon as it hit the sheet, and they did this test with many different guns and ranges, nothing put a dent in it, then someone accidentally turned on a laser pointer and the spot where it hit on the sheet melted, and so we then took some of the metal, and formed it into bones, and we managed to create something very hard to destroy, and we soon found out it could be easily upgraded, and it seems to work best as a material for artificial bones for humanoids, we tried it on a few different animals, and all the tests failed, but when we had a human volunteer, he lived, and that person is even healthier than he was before, so we believe that this metal has some sort of magical properties."
He paused for a second and took another drink from his water bottle, and continued: "So, what we're doing is making an exact replica of your bones with Moridus, since your original bones are going to not be able to heal, and we're going to make sure it doesn't happen again, we're using it's ability to be easily upgraded to add shock absorbers, strength enhancements, and the ability to jump really far, really fast, but, this is the first time we've tried putting in upgraded bones into someone, we have no idea what the result will be, sadly, so we hope for the best, and also, two more things, the first person to recieve this surgery hasn't had to have his bones replaced, they grew and shrank with him, which led us to believe that it's either magical, or it's some scientific metal produced by humanoid aliens, and the second thing, your shoes we're a bit well, glued to you when we found you, but we managed to seperate your shoes from the skin, and it's going to take a while to heal, so we made you a special pair of boots, they're still being prototyped but once you can leave, they should be done."
The doctor finished, and another person came in and said: "It's time for the surgery, and my bed floated after him.
* * *
I could hear the hum of the teleporters teleporting my broken bones out, and the replacement ones in, but I was mostly just hearing, not seeing or feeling. I could hear the sound of machinery nearby, but I couldn't quite sense where. "It's done, take him back into the room." I heard someone say, and I started moving.
* * *
It took longer than I had expected to get to my room, but I had finally gotten there on the bed, someone had escorted me to it. I heard someone come in and speak: "I would like to let you know that you'll be going back to your family in seven days, until then you will be exersising to make sure that the surgery was a success and nothing is wrong." The person said, and left the room, leaving me alone, so I figured I'd get some sleep.
*A week later...*
I woke up in my hospital bed, today was the day I got to go home. It looked like a nurse had gone to my house and got me some clothes, because there was a pair of pants and a shirt that fit perfectly. I pulled a nearby curtain to block my sight to the door, and anyone who came in here's sight of me, then I took off my shirt and put on the one on my bed, and did the same with the pants.
I did however, not have shoes, so I couldn't really walk around. The door to my room opened, and the doctor I saw a while ago came in, holding white shoes that the top bit went over the foot a bit, and there were circular green gemstones on it near the top, and the outside seemed to be a mix of a white metal and cloth in the inside. He laid them down near my bed and told me: "I finished them, almost didn't in time, but I did, and they should last you forever, made them out of iridium after all." I nodded, and put my feet into the shoes, they were a perfect fit.
Another person came in, and told me to follow them, so I got of the bed, still not quite used to the surgery, and walked along with him. We went through corridor after corridor, until finally finding an elevator, and going inside it, going to the bottom floor. The elevator came to a stop, and the door opened, and I walked into a lobby, more elevators on the side of the wall I was on, a place to check in patients on the other, an exit to my left, and the staff entrance to my right. I started to walk to the exit when I heard the sound of a shoe sliding across marble.
I looked behind me and got tackled by my younger sister, Alyssa, and behind her I saw my parents, Markus and Lisa, my father and mother, and my little brother, Tyler. "You're ok!" My sister said. "Yes, I'm alright," I said and hugged her, "But before we go have celebrations, can we go home? I'm kinda sick of laying in a floating bed." And my mother led me to our car, it was a standard model, but my dad had done some things with it, such as replacing the old engine with a better one, and things along that extent.
I got in the car in the back left seat, which faced the hospital, and I saw a half creeper half human hybrid thing, but a car passed by and it was gone. I looked out the front window of the car, and we started getting out of the parking spot and going on the road that led to our home.
* * *
We were pulling into our driveway, and I looked at my right hand, and saw the mark, still glowing white, but when I put my hand down it faded, probably to hide it from people who I didn't want to see it. I opened the door and my little sister came out after me. My siblings were only five years old, so they had quite a bit to learn. I walked to the door of my house and waved my hand over a sensor with a red light, the light turned green and opened up.
I walked in and turned some lights on, then walked up stairs and opened the door to my room, the lights were off, the window was closed, my bed was made, and my computer was off. Just the way I had left it. I heard a small buzz, and looked behind me to see my computer had turned on. I looked at it, puzzled, and then a single message appeared on the screen:
Come to the clock tower at midnight tonight. Come alone.
-****
I saw the message and read it a few times, before my computer turned off, and my mother called me to come down. "Coming!" I said, and ran down the stairs.
* * *
We had celebrations and things like that, but I had left the house while everyone was asleep, because I wanted to see just who sent that message, and how they did. I walked into the clock tower square, which is pretty much a big rectangle with a rounded top, and alleys going around it. I felt a gust of wind behind me, and looked back, but what I looked back into was my pillow, it seemed I had never really left.
And yet... I felt like something was missing... something important, but I didn't know what it was.
Trivia
1# Syn's boots are based off of the Quantum suit boots from the mod for minecraft called Industrial Craft2

Ok, one will probably be mentioned in the next chapter, which I will work on tomorrow, which maybe the last of the characters that I'm going to make up appears in it, sadly, its going to mostly be talking but, I'll try to have more interesting chapters soon.

Don't sweat it. I don't even have a name for Saturday's chapter of my fanfic. BTW, my characters were based off bits and pieces of Monetus and Monetia from Lords of Shadow. It's not copying.
Name: Void Najerilkzor (pronounced Nahyer'illksoar)
Gender: Male
Age: 324 Years
Good or Evil: Evil, but if possible I would like for him to turn Good for reasons explained below.
Backstory: He had a quite normal life, until ... He took an arrow to the face, more precisely into the right eye. As getting hit by any projectile is a shame for an enderman, he was thrown out of the end. He then became a treasure hunter and mercenary. But one time, in an old ruin, he got possessed by The Wither (So, this is why he might turn good,as he does'nt have a free will, he would turn good if the Wither left his mind). He now does evil in his name.
Good at: Controlling shadows from a range of the shadows being spies to him sprouting tendrils out of Voids's back and murdering things with 'em. Oh, also good at slicing things with his nightmare scythe.
Job: Investigate why there is a sudden disturbance in evil, and eliminate it. He keeps contact with the Wither through a Wither skull.

I'd also like to tell you that the Wither won't be defeated until the end of the second book, but Void will be in the later chapters. Also, if five different people post characters I might, might, add them to a conversation and give them early chapters, so three more different people who add one and I'll consider it...
I think you wanted to write possessed instead of possed. Please excuse me if possed is a word that would fit in there, I should know better if it does.

This story is so EPIC. I won't say it's better than mine but it is pretty close. We're both writing stories involving the Aether. Quoting chapter five, "this should be fun"

Yeah, that was a forum glitch, I'll see if I can divide the chapters into pharagraphs and then paste, and hopefully it will be fixed, also, your character is accepted. He might come in chapter 6 or 7, which I will release at the same time as my story reached 200 views.
* * *

Space?
* * *
* * *

* * *

* * *
* * *
*Syn*
I see you're going to the End, and how about this; we make a deal, if you don't accept I'll make sure you'll never see daylight again.
* * *
* * *
* * *
*Syn*
* * *
* * *
* * *

* * *

* * *
* * *
* * *
* * *
* * *
* * *

Name: Carum (Pronounced: Cay-rum)
Gender: Male
Age: (Not required) Millions of years. Younger than Carus
Good or Evil: (I'll only accept three evil ones) Good
Backstory: Guardian of the Aether, one of the two balancing spirits. If darkness falls onto either the Aether or the Nether, all worlds will fall. This includes the Overworld. He was born from the sun five minutes after Carus, the other balancing spirit. Carus is the spirit of destiny and shortly after being born (see Carus app) fell into a rage for an unknown reason. To prevent him from destroying all the worlds, Carum locked Carus in the Nether. However, when Carus returned to normal, Carum couldn't free Carus. At least Carus understand that it wasn't Carum's fault. It was discovered that during the rage, Carus awakened the first evil mobs.
Good at: Getting heroes to keep peace in the worlds as much as possible.
Other: He's the spirit of peacekeeping. He appears in dreams of heroes to guide them on quests to defeat evil.
Name: Carus (Pronounced: Cay-rus)
Gender: Male
Age: (Not required) Millions of years, but older than Carum
Good or Evil: (I'll only accept three evil ones) Good
Backstory: Born from the core of the earth and guardian spirit of the Nether. He is older than Carum and mysteriously fell into a rage and nearly destroyed many worlds. Carum locked him into the Nether to protect us all. Evil mobs awakened before Carus was imprisoned, however. Carus returned to normal later on but Carum couldn't free him. Carus understood what happened and tries to help people realize their destiny, as that is his job.
Good at: His job
Other: The spirit of destiny. He appears in the dreams of potential heroes and tells them about their destiny.

Don't sweat it. I don't even have a name for Saturday's chapter of my fanfic. BTW, my characters were based off bits and pieces of Monetus and Monetia from Lords of Shadow. It's not copying.

I can see what you mean by the weird pasting. I think you need to use a different text software (I prefer TextEdit)

I think you wanted to write possessed instead of possed. Please excuse me if possed is a word that would fit in there, I should know better if it does.
