After a couple of weeks, I re-downloaded MineCraft. I bought a new account-being the third time-and created a new world. Like always, I collected wood and built a house. It came to my intention that the biomes were quite peculiar. There was snow in the desert and no rain in the taiga (both very close to my house). Pigs were glitching through the ground like when you jump in a world hole. I exited minecraft, and force-updated. Going back and starting yet a new world, everything seemed normal again. I collected wood once more and build a house.
I created a mine inside my house like I normally do. After digging to bedrock, I found no materials. After digging what seemed like an endless cavern-like tunnel, I still found no resources-not even a single drop of water. I almost entirely cleared out a forest near me to make charcoal for torches. Though seeing no use for Iron since there were no diamonds or anything for that matter, I resorted to stone tools and stone-structure building blocks (since after all, I have boxes and boxes of the stuff). The life in a MineCraft world now seemed barren. Clearing out the entire forest near me and making a castle w/ a wall, I went back down in the mine. I noticed something different. Instead of the walls being stone, dirt or gravel, it was COBBLEstone.
I was getting a little freaked out remembering what happened last time. I quickly got out of the save and deleted it. I noticed my old save again. I entered it, and right off the bat had lag. That made me quit, but I didn't delete it.
I noticed the lag persisted-even in a flatland, which was weird to me having a QUAD-core, Updated Drivers, and 16G RAM (not to brag). I got frustrated, and closed MineCraft.
After playing some other games for a while, I got bored and went on my SNES-just to remember the old times. Suddenly and unfortunately, the power went out, so I resorted back to MineCraft. When I made a new world, I noticed something odd. My HUD was retextured so it looked bloody. Snow looked like blood. Pigs' eyes were ripped out and Sheeps' intestines hanging over their chest. It all wasn't pixelized, either. It looked like a real-live texture pack. After seeing this all, I rushed out of my room and into the bathroom, where I threw up what seemed like gallons of acid. I was growing sick. I continued on with the game, stupidly, and noticed that there was hyper realism. If I did not put struts in my tunnels, they would collapse. Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Hurricanes and Tornadoes occurred. All except for the bloody textures, I was engrossed in all of this.
I was having a jolly good time with this, forgetting all that could happen. I didn't pay much attention to the textures after a while, though I still felt like throwing up when I saw the poor animals. Soon enough, after adventuring, I came across a village of NPC's. When they saw me, they just stared.I tried to interact with them, but they didn't do anything. They just stood there. Someone came out (whom I am assuming was the mayor), and threatening me with a sword. I knew where I was not wanted. I didn't leave, however, I took out a sword and fought him. I won, though my health did never regenerate. My hunger would not help it. I had to fix my wounds by bathing.
However, my fun ended when I returned to my house. It burned down. Inside, I found a sign that said "I found you after long last!". With the hyper-realism involved, I thought the NPC's grew smarter, and were hunting me because of killing their mayor. A slight image came to mind. The scientists? Could it be them?
As I grew throughout the game, I noticed things were becoming even more realistic by the second. More signs were appearing with more realistic handwriting, and soon enough shading and other things appeared. Before I knew it, it was like playing Skyrim. After a while, everything stopped, frozen, and something came into my character's mind:
There were three scientists. One catching the house on fire; one stealing all my stuff; the last was walking away. Hunting for something. Hunting for me. He saw the animals and said "What did he do to these poor animals!" in the text bar. One of the scientists replied: "What we programmed him to do: Pure Evil.".
I was extremely shocked. Why would I be doing this, I thought. I thought and I thought. Until something came to mind.
I was playing on a server one day, before any of this even started. I was trolling everyone. Then my biggest troll was to the admin. After I performed it, he said he would get back at me one day. And it looks like he did. He was hacking into my computer, and causing all off this.
Yet was I to know, he died two months before this all started.
