It was a lonely day at my house. My parents were out in another town and I was left alone with my two dogs and my one cat. I checked my skype and steam, and none of my friends were online. Passing up the time I started watching Telegrams, but soon got bored due to the fact I was staring at static. Maybe none of my friends were online because it is storming-my power must be out, I said to myself.
I opened my laptop and signed in. I started playing MineCraft. I opened up single-player and created a new world. Minutes into the world, I noticed that blank signs were appearing. How peculiar, I said to myself. I progressed on thinking it was a bug in the game.
When going into an abandoned shaft I found, I noticed there were no pillars, but the cobweb and everything was there. Maybe I've been in this spot before?, again, I thought to myself. This was most likely true, because I clear out pillars on my way in. But the odd thought came to mind: I have been going in a straight line. Suddenly-it just stops?
Being me, I refused to investigate. I got up, and left my room and my computer. I came back with a pop in my hands. I notice that all my diamond tools were converted to iron, and my skin was changed. Instead of being my Teenager, I was a scientist. I couldn't move my character. A strange being popped up. It looked like my old character, and it put down a series of signs; a series that read these numbers: 01010100 01010110 01010010 0110010 0100000 01000010 0110100 01000011 01001011 0100000 01001110 0110000 01010111 0101110
Then I was back where I was. All my diamond tools were there. The signs were still there. I investigated, and noticed it only contained 0's and 1's. I turned to a binary translator. What came back was surprising- the words read TVR2 B4CK N0W. I figured the V was an U, 2 was a N, 4 was an A and 0 was an O. TURN BACK NOW.
Out of pure and stupid curiosity, I continued through the mine. I was thinking to myself: Why was I that scientist? That doesn't make any sense. Why was that being me? All my thoughts were put to rest, though, when I heard a loud scream. It was like a ghast or enderman scream. I quickly jumped out of my chair in fright. The scream turned to screams. They were persistent. I turned my sound to 0 but it only made them louder. Or so I thought.
It was coming closer. It was getting louder. Then, all of a sudden.... It stopped.
Game Over.
Being the paranoid blighter I am, I decided to click quit. When I went back to my worlds, I didn't have my old world, and I couldn't create a new one. The only world I had was named "We Warned You.". Out of curiosity, I decided to play it. I was a scientist again. I couldn't control my character. I was in a laboratory, and there were three other men in the room. We were creating a creature, a creature that looked like my skin. It broke free from the chair and killed the other men. I was left standing there, as it disappeared. It all made sense to me now:
They were hunting me down. I am the monster.
I left the world, because I was only left standing there. On exit, instead of the usual screen, a different one appeared. One that said: "Taming the Beast.". After that, my MineCraft booted out.
When I tried to re-log, MineCraft said my account did not exist. I tried over and over, but it kept saying it did not exist. I closed MineCraft Launcher, and I went to buy a new account, hoping everything would be okay. Sadly, not.
When I got to the purchase screen, it said "We will not let this happen again."
Though I did not listen, I should have. After I logged in to my new account, instead of the usual title screen being up, there were only Story, Options, and Quit. It was quite peculiar because of "Story" being there. I, again of curiosity, clicked it. The same flashbacks of the scientists I saw in my old profile were there this time. After a few minutes of watching the pictures, I noticed that there was something hidden. A watch in each corner. I reached in my pocket, and the same watch on the screen matched the one in my hand. I dropped the watch, and deleted MineCraft from my computer.
I, gladly, never had this experience again. But you should remember:
Always listen to what they tell you, good or bad. It gives you clues on what is going to happen.
