Lore:
[Spoiler]
Long ago, three gods created the world of Minecraftia: Terrae, Roki, and Net.
But you know that story
The story of the two siblings that created the world.
The story of how Net, the third sibling, cursed the world, and was banished into the Nether.
But this story...
Is untold.
Hundreds of years after Terrae and Roki created Steve, much of the Minecraft world had been repopulated. People were constantly discovering new things, such as mob heads, horses, emeralds, and even villagers. Villagers were some of Net's early creations; he gave them houses and basic services, then moved on. Eventually these villagers learned to trade with each other, forge tools, and create powerful mechanisms known now as Iron Golems. Everyone was happy.
Until something happened.
Cubeaism, the religion worshiping the gods that created Minecraftia, was a small religion, only practiced by monks in the wilderness. But time went by, and Cubeaism became more well known, thanks to a legendary half-man half-bird named ArchebuS. He spread the wonders of Cubeaism to the outside world, causing more people to follow the gods that had created them. Unfortunately, some were lured by the dark powers of Net. Their minds became twisted and warped, and they created strange portals to Net's dimension.
Terrae and Roki didn't pay much attention to it.
But they should have.
All of the portals opening up caused a fluctuation in time and space, and strange things began to happen around the world. Some of Net's creations, known as Zombies, began to spread a disease to the rest of the world. Undead horses began to show up in several different forms. And some people simply went crazy and started to kill each other because of a strange phenomenon called "PVP". There were rumors of people who could climb up walls and be invincible because of a process called "Hacking". And finally, anomalies started to open up and change the world around them. The anomalies would sometimes be helpful, and other times be hurtful. Sometimes they would be wacky, but sometimes they were scary. Sometimes they were barely noticeable, others would completely change the world around it and the way life worked. These anomalies were eventually dubbed "Mods", because they modified the world.
Many explorers traveled into Net's realm to find adventure, but they were horribly mutated by Net. Those who escaped, however, escaped with small bags of glowing yellow powder.
But before I go on, I must tell you a different story. A story older than time itself.
Here it is:
Before the beginning of time, the all-powerful creator of the gods made his first experiment: A god known as En. En's face was mutated, and his mind was corrupted with shadow. His creator cast him into the void, hoping that the evil creature would be destroyed.
It wasn't.
En used its dark and twisted mind to create a playground for itself, its own little private island.
Terrae, Roki, and Net were created. They made the world.
But En's island, the End, was starting to spill over into the real world. It corrupted Net's mind, turning him into a crazed madman. Knowing that this had to stop, the creator imprisoned En, leaving the key to his prison in two parts: One in Net's prison, and the other inside the heart of the humans that had been created. The creator, knowing that En could not be contained forever, hid the entrance deep underground, knowing that only a true hero would be able to assemble the key and go to the End to defeat En once and for all.
En, seeing the perfect humans that were created, was jealous that he had nothing to populate his world. He used the hearts of the humans to create creatures of his own, but they didn't come out quite right. They were tall, dark, and their hearts were mutated and allowed them to teleport whenever they desired. They, unlike En himself, had the ability to travel to the overworld. He named them "Endermen"
Now, back to the story:
Some followers of Roki discovered that the strange yellow powder from the Nether and the evil hearts of the Endermen could be combined to make something entirely new, an Eye of En. They followed these eyes and found a follower of Roki's biggest dream: A massive dungeon filled with monsters and loot. Once they had finished, they stumbled across a strange portal; they inserted the Eyes of En into the portal and jumped through. No one knows what happened to them after that. Some say they were killed by En's mortal form; Others say that they were corrupted and turned into horrible monsters just like the Endermen. However, we had no way of knowing.
Until now.
A few months after their disappearance, the followers of Roki emerged from the End. They then began gathering followers to worship a new god: En himself. These followers took over the massive underground stronghold and utilized it as their base. They frequently traveled between the three realms, using the hearts of dead Endermen to teleport around and cause chaos in Terrae's realm, killed the fiery demons known as Blazes in Net's realm, and often tunneled underground to sneak up on unsuspecting followers of Roki.
Meanwhile, the strange fluctuation in time and space caused by the excessive amount of Nether portals began to take more of a toll on the overworld. Net's monsters became more purposeful, moving together as a single force, armed with enchanted weapons and armor. They served under three leaders: The Creeper Lord, a creeper that glowed with electrical power; The Zombie General, a zombie that towered above even the tallest buildings in New Pork City; and the King of Monsters: A mighty skeleton that rode on the backs of the fiercest of spiders.
Many skeletons, however, did not want to follow the three leaders; instead they fled into the Nether, where they took refuge in Net's giant fortresses. It was then that they began to undergo a horrible transformation: They grew taller, their faces became stained with the blackest of ash, and they abandoned their bows in the favor of weapons from fallen warriors.
The dark energy produced by these new skeletons and the fluxuation caused Net to begin to take on a physical form. It was said that his true form was so horrible that most humans that glanced upon it or heard its roar went insane.
On the surface, most humans that did not worship gods lived in settlements and kingdoms ruled over by cruel kings that wanted only wealth and power. However, when the Great Shift began, most of the people began to riot and revolt against their cruel leaders. Only the most loyal of soldiers stood by their kings, who were all eventually forced to flee.
Net's first creation, the slime, rose out from the depths and took over the swamps at night. A few villagers that felt the calling of net moved to the swamp and began to practice witchcraft, aided by the dark powers leaking out of the Nether. Silverfish, creatures previously found only in En's strongholds, were set free in the high mountains of Minecraftia, forcing the followers of Roki even deeper underground.
The Great Shift is not coming.
It is already here.

Paths:[spoiler]The Path of TerraeThe path of the nature lover survivor
[spoiler]
Before the great shift, followers of Terrae peacefuly lived in the green forests of the overworld. Now, most of the forests have either been destroyed by followers of Net or cut down by Kings in order to expand their territory. Followers of Terrae are now forced to live in swamps and high mountaintops, even though both are slowly slipping into the control of enemy gods. Some followers of Terrae, however, have found a safe haven on the tops of the highest of the jungle trees.
Colors: Brown and Green.
Biomes: Swamp, Mountain, and Jungle.
Restrictions: You may not travel under level 60 for longer than 10 minutes. If you are underground for that
long, you must admit defeat and jump into lava.
Weapons: Bow is preferred, but if you cannot find one, you may use a sword.
Armor: Leather, but more is allowed if you are about to enter intense combat. The whole leather thing has become mainly symbolic by now.
Foods: Anything Vegetarian, but if you are starving and there are no more food sources around, then you are free to eat just enough RAW meat to keep you alive. However, you must either already have the animal meat from gathering other resources (such as leather), or if the animal dies of anything other than being directly attacked by you (time to improvise...).
Shrine: A 3x3 or 5x5 pool of water. With a single log surrounded by 6 leaves on each of its sides.
Level 1: Survivor
A new home:
Find a mountain, swamp, or jungle biome to call home. If you settle on a mountain, either flatten out the top to live on, or create a wooden platform on stilts above the mountain. If you live in a swamp, then live atop the trees, making sure to be careful of slimes and witches. If you can find a jungle biome to live in, then settle atop the trees, rarely making trips to the surface to gather materials, mine, or explore.
The Old Days:
Craft a bow and some leather armor. The armor may have little practicality, but it is symbolic. The old ways must be preserved as well as possible.
Level 2: Gardener
Protection Shrine:
Build a shrine to Terrae outside whatever dwelling you have. It will protect you against the forces of Net and En.
Garden Master:
Build farms for the following plants: Tree, Wheat, Pumpkin, Melon, Potato, Carrot, and Sugar Cane.
Level 3: Grower:
Prepare: You must train for the Great Shift. The ban on going underground has been lifted. That's right, sh*t just got real. Get the best weapons and armor that you can, with the best enchantments possible. Train all night and gather resources all day. The other gods will come to fear the followers of Terrae!
Tree Hugger:
Grow a large oak tree and pray for it for at least one full minute each day. Terrae is very pleased with you. If you do not pray at it on any day, you must sacrifice one diamond to Terrae by throwing it on the ground in front of the tree and waiting there until it despawns.
Level 4: Survivalist
Unfinished Business:
It's time to take on Net; you should be the ultimate warrior by now. Travel deep into the realm of Roki and gather obsidian to make a Nether portal. Once you are through, find one of Net's giant fortresses and begin destroying all of his creatures. When you return, use the powers of Nixos to brew potions to aid you in the upcoming battle. Keep gearing up and traveling between the two realms until you have collected three Wither skulls. Use them to bring forth Net's soul so that you can destroy him once and for all. There is one catch, however: you MUST fight him in the Nether, in one of his fortresses. This is where he is at full power, but it is the only place where ha can be truly destroyed.

Now, I know what you're thinking: Are you sure ArchebuS would be OK with this? Well, I come bearing some sad news: ArchebuS is retiring from writing Cubeaism. As he said in a private conversation that I and some other hardcore Cubeaism fans were a part of:
Quote from ArchebuS »
I am pretty far gone in terms of cubeaism now. Consider it open for you guys to edit as you please.
About the biomes for Terrae, how about jungle hills? They can be as high as mountain, and better yet, have trees.
Oh, and I like the dramatic ending of chapter 2
Jungle hills are a good idea... Maybe even the tops of jungle trees, since they are pretty high up, have flat tops, and are innaccessible to most mobs as long as they are lit up.
The font color.... it burns. Black is just fine
And I think that the shrines remains to be unchanged.
I use the font to try to add a bit of flavor to the text, but if enough people complain about it, I'll probably change it. In fact, I think I'll put up a poll! And the new Terrae shrine has been changed to a cross to "protect" followers of Terrae, since they were massacredand driven out of their homes. Some of the other shrines may remain unchanged from the original, though.
Voted in the poll, and it told me to comment. The different coloured texts are good, but I can't read Terrae's without selecting all of it to make it legible...

Hmmmm... I'll try selecting a slightly darker shade of green.
The text is easy enough to read in different colors for the different gods, but when you color a lot of specific words in the middle of the path, it gives me headaches. For example, diamond was colored cyan, all the plants were colored differently, and you used colors for mobs too. Having the god's name in Different colors is ok, but a lot of these words could be uncolored and it wouldn't
detract from the path.
Also, when you finished one of these paths, will the acolyte title be different?
Like "Acolyte of the New Terrae"
or "Acolyte of Terrae the Survivor"?

I'm just having a new list of saints and acolytes, (mostly) disregarding the original list.
I liked the old Terrae shrine better, but the new one sounds cool too (I couldn't figure out how to build it just from the description:P). Maybe you could use the old one if you want to stick to a slightly more classic approach to Terrae?
EDIT: Please keep Roki's shrine the same, except maybe add a new optional one for a follower who wants to take the whole revenge thing to another level? Also, I haven't been playing vanilla for quite a few months now so I'm kinda behind(Tekkit, Halo 4:P), what's all this talk of slimes in swamps and silverfish on mountains??? (I know about most of the other changes though - played a couple of the recent snapshots.)
Yay, new Cubeaism! I had done all the stuff in the other thread, so there wasn't much more to do. Glad someone could take up the torch and continue. I'm looking forward to see how you flesh this all out.
Awesome, I'm real happy this is coming back
But on the font colors, I like the idea but you should use darker fonts. I.e, dark green, darker grey. The color off it doesn't have to be quite as noticeable as it is now. Something a bit more subtle might work better.

Are you going to say anything about the dragon, or is En the dragon?
+1 for you
Yep, En's the dragon. It's a bit cliche, but it fits the lore and the theme, so... Yeah.
