I had just created a singleplayer world. I started chopping down trees to make a workbench. then I heard the sound of a zombie growl. I rushed over when the growl started getting louder. I saw trees with no leaves and sand pyramids in the water. I realized what this was. Herobrine. I paused then quickly tried to quit, but before I could, there was something on the chat bar. "There's no escape." I quit within a second. I made a new world but in Creative. After for the next 5 minutes, I flinched as Herobrine killed me. I quit and I accessed the internet then went to the forums. I saved both map to see if anyone else saw him. There was nobody, then made another topic asking if anyone had any experiences similar to mine. I refreshed then an error occurred that this post doesn't exist. I tried again and again, until I struck a comment. It said "Stop.". I clicked the profile, who seems to be Herobrine, then it just 404'd. I received an email the next day saying other people had seen Herobrine, and it'd be safer using email. I replied if he knew anyone related. He said one word, "Notch.". I emailed Notch personally if he knew any Herobrine. He replied "Yes, he is my dead brother."
I hadn't seen him since my first encounter, but here is my only evidence.
Yeah, this needs to be changed BIG time. I liked the bit when you just heard the growls and such, but the rest is.. well.. I've been there before.
You took a little too much inspiration. Sure, you could of added one thing in there, like the part in the original story when Herobrine looked at the player in the fog and ran off, but the rest should be original material.

What he probably means is that he doesn't understand the significance of the story. I thought it was decent though.
