"You may think you are nothing, but you are destined for great things"
Muttering. Then, a rift appeared. More muttering, they watched. Nothing happened, just peaceful Overworld business that was normal, then, he appeared with a satisfying pop!
"What?"
What happened? I didn't have any idea, who I was, where I was, or why I was here. The earth fell soft... and flat. Utterly flat. The world around unfolded into blocky structures of what must've been trees and ponds. I guessed that was normal. Cluck, Cluck, Cluck I heard a noise. What was it? It was a small, white animal. "A chicken." I suddenly gained the knowledge of what it was called. It turned it's tiny head, in curiosity, I did the same. I moved forward.
I had no idea what to do, then the knowledge hit me, like a window being smashed by a baseball. "Punch a tree" I knew. Directions kept flowing through me, but I felt like nothing. All I felt like was that I was a drifting wisp in dark room. Lost.
Suddenly, the landscape above me turned to orange. Night. Something began to worry me, and I clutched the sturdy wood sword tightly, and I willed out of my imaginary storage in my head for the dirt I collected.
That was my first night
Chapter 1
"Don't be a quitter, go with your gut feelings"
I lived in that flat plain for a while, learning to craft, mine, and build. One day, I stepped back and looked at the house I lived in. It's dark wood roof contrasted with the oak walls and floors, and that pleased me. I also was proud of the pine logs that made the corners, and I first I doubted my gut feeling, but those logs wrapped it all together.
Something felt wrong to me, though. This house, the one I lived in since I could even think, since my first night. Then, I realized something, "What's beyond?" In my little plains biome, I was surrounded east, north, and south with taiga, and to my west a vast ocean. Something was past me, something far away, waiting. I had decided, I was leaving.
My things were all in my limited storage space, in which I believed was in my head. I took a deep breath, and knew I could stop know or go on, no turning back. One more deep breath, and stepped forward, into a new chunk of my life.
Harsh winds barraged me, as day turned to night. I heard a groan, a familiar groan, "Zombies!" I shouted. Several green men, tattered clothes and hunger for brains included, chased after me. Running would be pointless, I would get too hungry. Fighting was my only option.
My iron sword clashed and sliced through the five or so zombies, and I was only hit once, when one bit my arm. I scarfed down a piece of cooked chicken, and I smiled, remembering the first chicken I had seen, but that was then, and this is now.
My new shears helped me gather wool from sheep, and I created two beds, one for now, and one later. I saw my breath as I exhaled, as I prepared for sleep, placing torches, and eventually, sleeping
The next morning, the snowstorm decreased, but still, Jack Frost was relentless. I decided to go caving for any supplies I needed later.
I enjoyed swinging my pick, and I heard bubbling behind a wall. "What is that?" I thought, and I bashed through. In front of me was a hot, orange, liquid. I suddenly came to realization that it was lava, and the turquoise stone, diamond.
I whacked a skeleton as I braved out of my staircase to the surface.
I came out, and it was morning. Again. Had I worked a full day? It didn't matter, because I ran as soon I got out, excited for what I would encounter next.
Prologue: Hello guys, this is the beginning of my story "Who am I?" A question everyone asks to themselves, especially me
At the beginning of each chapter is some "Chicken Soup for the Minecrafter's Soul" I guess. A little sentence I wrote that has big meaning.
Chapter 1: These are little notes I may put after chapters, these may not be after EVERY chapter, but they will most.
In this chapter, I am showing how you have to go with you're gut feeling and you will discover the unknown, in this case lava and diamond ore.
Suggestion: Put this in a spoiler so we can tell what's story and what's not. Under the word "Prologue" put ["spoiler"]. Right after the last word of the story, put ["/spoiler"]. Just don't use the quotation marks.
