This is my History of Minecraft, but unlike the other ones, it's based on in-game evidence, not some weirdo making up crap about creeper wars. I'm not going to list all the evidence, that would take too long, but it involved looking at stuff villagers trade, ancient RG structures, mob behaviors, and tons of other stuff. If you have any questions about how I found out a specific thing, just ask. Also, if you find evidence against any of my stuff, say it so I can edit it. Anyway, here it is:
-In the beginning, there was nothing. The gods Notch and Jeb created four worlds, each infinite, and called them the Overworld, the Nether, the End, and a sky dimension that was long forgotten. The unnamed sky dimension was the first, and it was full of life and happiness and all that crap. However, it was too cheesy, and they needed some evil in the world, so they created the Nether, a burning hell of lava, netherrack, and demented insect-like beasts, as ghastly as kittens being slaughtered by Justin Bieber music, so they were called ghasts. Then the gods decided that they needed a world of balance, so they created the Overworld and populated it with slimes, which would later evolve into various creatures, and early fernlike plants, fungi from the Nether, and some bacteria. They made the sun and moon, which would orbit the Overworld. As for the other worlds, the sky dimension was deemed unnecessary, so they never added to it, but the Nether was pretty epic, so they kept that one. Then they looked at the infinite void between worlds, and made a world there, called the End. They put an enormous godlike dragon and some tall shadowy creatures there, but the dragon was evil and corrupted their minds with fear of all living creatures. The creatures soon learned that they could use pearl-like organs in their bodies to teleport anywhere, including into the other worlds, where their fear and hatred made them kill anything that looks at them, against their will. It is said that sometimes you can hear their voices crying for help as they fight something, but their voices are scrambled and backwards. The creatures, along with slimes and ghasts, were some of the first animals.
-Later, in the Overworld, after millions of years, the slimes evolved into other animals. There were pigs, creepers, early monkeys, cows, chickens, sheep, squid, ocelots, spiders, wolves, silverfish, bats, and many other creatures yet to be discovered. Some slimes remained, in swamps and dark caves deep underground. The most advanced animals at that time were pigs and two kinds of monkey.
-A few thousand years after that, the pigs and monkeys evolved into pigmen, humans, and testificates. The pigmen were the most advanced, and had a lot of trade with humans. Both were very successful. The testificates lived in caves, without much knowledge of crafting, and were bad at fighting so they mostly hid.
-Soon after, pigmen invent mob spawners. They first tested them in small dungeon rooms in caves, away from the civilian population. They also discover the Nether. They build a lot of portals and find that the Nether is full of ghasts and strange withered skeletons. They resemble human skeletons, and how they got there is still a mystery. The pigmen were scared, so they created huge fortresses out of a material we don't know how to make nowadays, so let's call it nether brick. Then, they tried to make a fireproof creature that could survive outside in the heat, so they they could learn from it. Using their knowledge of magical GMO and mob spawners, they bring in slimes (because a slime's DNA is primitive and easy to work with) and make them into magma cubes. This works well, but the magma cubes, like normal slimes, are hostile, so the spawners were destroyed and the magma cubes were released into the wild or killed. The surviving cubes would later breed and eventually populate most of the Nether.
-The magma cube experiment still didn't solve the problem of how dangerous the Nether is. Ghasts, Wither skeletons, and now magma cubes still attacked the fortresses, so the pigmen decided to make another creature. This time, it would be a mechanical golem, made out of an organic metal-like substance, so spawners of it could be made. It made and shot fire charges, and they called it a blaze. Blaze spawners were mounted on every fortress wall, and the blazes hunted down ghasts, magma cubes, and wither skeletons and so far, everything was good for the pigmen.
-The testificates invented the iron golem while the pigmen were exploring the Nether, and with golem protection, started making villages.
-The pigmen realized they were safe now that blazes killed all the deadly stuff for them, so they started exploring deeper in the Nether, farther away from their fortresses, and they caught a strange disease. Everyone who got infected would turn crazy and attack everyone else. When someone got hurt by one of the infected people, they would be infected too. Today, we call this disease Vivere Mortus, or the zombie virus. It infected all the pigmen in the Nether, and they abandoned their fortresses, leaving the blazes behind. The blazes stopped killing mobs since they weren't protecting anything anymore, and wither skeletons overran the forts. (Blazes still kill humans though, because humans are after their rods).
-While the fortresses were getting dumped, many zombie pigmen went through the portals and attacked the people of the Overworld. Most of the living pigmen ran off into the wilderness, and would eventually devolve into the modern pig. The humans, however, didn't take this zombie apocalypse lying down. They launched a huge attack, destroying every last Nether portal and killing all of the zombie pigmen, but while they were doing that, the infection swept across their own kingdoms and infected most humans. Once a kingdom was infected, Endermen, the strange shadow creatures from the End, would come take all the blocks from it, so it looked like it was never there. They did the same to pigman cities, but spared the humans' ancient desert wells, pyramids, and temples. Endermen are weird. A few kingdoms managed to survive, and they are called servers today. However, in non-server areas, it is estimated that there are between 1 and 8 humans per 225 million blocks.
-Testificates were also being attacked, but they were very well protected by iron golems, and their villages did very well. Testificate priests discovered that zombie testificates could be cured with a potion of weakness and a golden apple. They also started a huge mining operation to supply iron for their golems, but some of their mineshafts intersected with the abandoned mineshafts of the pigmen, which had cave spider spawners. These cave spiders killed many of the miners, so the mines were abandoned. Nowadays, they get most of their iron from cave mining and trading with human server kingdoms. While mining, they also found three ancient pigman strongholds, which contained portals to the End that some pigmen must have built before the infection spread. The portals were powered by eyes of ender, a modified version of the endermen's pearls that apparently were designed to rip open the fabric of space-time, making a portal to the End. The testificates removed the eyes in case the endermen use the portals to invade, and they can be bought for 12 emeralds each from village priests.
-The village priests, with their new discoveries in the strongholds, and information from human alchemists in servers, started making potions. Potion knowledge spread from village to village, until everyone knew about it. When that happened, a few people in each village started using potions for evil and hurting other villagers. They weren't like your average criminal, who could just be killed by an iron golem in one shot, and nobody would give a crap. These guys, who now called themselves witches, could heal themselves and cause group damage, which golems weren't trained to stop, so they were instead peacefully tricked into being banished from the village. Most of them chose to live in the swamps, where there were lots of mushrooms, and they could continue their alchemy. However, a few came back to kill the villagers, and now every new golem is trained to kill witches in case that happens again.
-It is now modern times. As far as we know, pigmen are dead. Trade between the humans and testificates is pretty good right now, and they have taught us how to make iron golems and anvils. This is all we know of Minecraft history until new discoveries are made.
Here's some stuff that we don't know yet:
-When did creepers evolve, and what are they? There are images of them in pyramids, so the ancient humans must have fought them, but they have no related species in the animal kingdom. They are not any kind of insect, fish, mammal, bird, reptile, or amphibian. They share some DNA traits with pigs, but they appear to be plants, and they reproduce like ferns, an early plant. Could they be mutant pig/plant monsters?
-How did the wither skeletons get into the Nether, why do they hate pigmen, and why are they so humanlike? Some theories say that they could be undead, corrupted humans who went to the Nether pre-pigman discovery, or that pigmen could have brought humans to the Nether and corrupted them, then covered it up, or the gods are trolling us. There is evidence that the skulls of these wither skeletons can be used in a ritual that summons a death spirit called the Wither, but most servers have outlawed anyone from trying it just in case.
Ok, that's pretty much all I know about the origin of Minecraft's stuff, hope you like it.
