Hi! It's Scott2234 again! I hope you liked my first story (I will leave a link in the comments to it). I would recommend you reading my first story before this one, because this is the sequel and you might not understand some of the sequel if you have not read the first (like most books). Anyways, I will be adding a chapter whenever I write on (I am writing this on a piece of paper separately, typing it out, printing it and then copy and pasting it on to the forum). Feel free to give out ideas in the comments. Well, here it is, I hope you like it!
Day 1
I fell for a full minute. It was a peculiar feeling, being weightless.
I finally saw a field of stars and knew I was out of the portal. I looked down and could see the clouds of this land called Tekkit.
Just minutes before, I and my friends had defeated an army of tall black beings with glowing purple eyes called endermen. By doing so, we had rescued a enderdragon named Boga, and he had opened a portal to the mysterious world. That is what had brought me there. Falling (again).
I fell through the clouds and could see the ground. I didn’t like what I saw. I was falling at a break-neck speed towards an open field. I saw nothing to break my fall.
I closed my eyes and braced for a hard and messy landing, but instead of a bam, I heard a splash and instead of feeling pain, I felt wetness.
I opened my eyes and saw that I was under water. I quickly swam to the surface and took a huge breath of air to refill my lungs and pushed myself to shore. I sat down coughing. Once I calmed down I took in my surroundings.
It was day out. I was in a fairly flat grass field with the occasional hill here and there.I was near some trees, which was usually a good sign.
Then, I took an inventory check of my things. My sword and its leather case was still around my waist, which was good. I opened my satchel and my heart nearly stopped. The only things in my satchel compartments was my wooden tablet and the piece of paper my old friend Rob had handed me before he died.
I unfolded the paper and saw that it contained a note. Dearest Jayko, If you are reading this that means that I am gone for good. I wanted to give you some fair warnings about the world Tekkit that I probably told you before I died. First, don’t let anyone or anything kill you. This land was enchanted by a evil witch named Exlam. You might recognize the name, if not, you will soon. The enchantment, makes any attack or death similar to the endermens effect. You will be gone forever, but with a twist. I will not tell you the twist, for I hope that none of you do die. I also would like to tell you that hidden somewhere near a pond you land in is a chest containing some potions that might prove usefull. I will finish this note with this final warning: keep this note! You will find out why sometime in the hopefully near future. Sincerely, Shalogan the Wise.
I was surprised that Rob had gone through all the time to write me a letter for after his death. Even more surprising was that he had used his Ginonite code name Shalogan.
Pushing this matter aside, I put the paper in my satchel and took out my wooden tablet.
I saw the usual 2x2 grid with the lone square to the left of it, but there was something different. To the right of the grid was a large rectangle with a painting of me on it. In the painting I was standing up strait, arms to my side. To the right of the rectangle was 4 squares in a parallel row. Inside each of these squares was an imprint of something on my body. On the top most square was an imprint of a head. Bellow that, a shirt, below that pants and finally, below the pants square was an imprint of shoes.
Above all of the squares and rectangle was two lines. One was a line of 10 hearts and below that was a line of turkey drumsticks.
Not knowing what these were, I walked over to the tress, pondering what their uses could be when suddenly, a creature with four legs and a long body, about as tall as me, and all green came out of nowhere and blew up.
I fell back and landed on my back. The creature that had just attacked me was called a Creeper. I picked up my tablet (which I had dropped) and saw that 3 of the hearts were gone. That must be the amount of hits I can take before I die, I thought. Strangely, after a minute, one of the hearts grew back.
That’s when I heard a loud splash! behind me and turned around.
I turned and saw one of my friends, Brittany, swimming out of the pond. I ran over to her and helped her out. She coughed once and looked at me, asking, “Are we there? Did we make it to Tekkit?”
I shrugged. “I guess so,” I answered.
Suddenly, a shadow went over us and I looked up. I saw a large, winged black beast gliding down towards us gracefully. This was Boga, the enderdragon that had opened the portal for us.
“Where are we?” I asked once Boga landed. “It looks to me like we are in Tekkit,” the dragon answered, folding his wings. “But, I must warn you, many dangers are int his world.”
I nodded, remembering Rob’s note. “We should probably wait for the others,” I said. Little did I know that the others weren’t coming.

My friend, Dan landed in a desert with a solid thud! “Ouch,” he said. Everything hurt, so he waited. He lied there for some time. Once he felt better, he started to get up, only to be forced back down by Lance (another friend) landing on top of him.
“Ouch,” Lance said, jumping up. He looked around, shouting, “Dan?” Finally he looked down and saw Dan lying flat on the ground. “Dan? What are you doing down there? Are you okay?” he asked.
“I would be if you hadn’t just landed on top of me,” Dan replied with a moan. “Oh, sorry,” Lance said, turning around, scanning the landscape. Behind him, Dan was to get up, only to be forced down again by my dog Shadow to land on top of him.
He let out another moan as Shadow’s back paw dug into his neck as he was climbing off of him. Shadow trotted over to Lance and sniffed his feet.
Dan slowly got up, and once he was up he checked his satchel. He saw the same as I had, seeing only his wooden tablet and bow with a couple arrows inside.
He took out the tablet and saw the hearts and turkey legs and all of the new things. His hearts were half way down.
“Lance. . .” Dan said. “Yeah?” Lance replied, turning around.
“We made it.”

At sunset we realized that the others weren’t coming. We had been waiting all day and they had not fallen into the pond.
“They must have not not gone through the portal with us!” Brittany said, almost in tears. She adored her brother, and seeing as too it seemed that he had chickened out, I didn’t know how to comfort her but to say that Daniel wouldn’t do something like that, but I didn’t see any other explanation myself.
Since it was getting dark and we didn’t have any materials, Boga spread his wings and we used that as a shelter while the dragon stood guard.

Dan sat down next to a cactus. They ad been walking for such a long time. Dan had been trying to figure what the turkey legs on the wooden tablet meant. Whatever it did, he was worried because as he got tired, the legs were starting to slowly disappear.
Suddenly, a shadow went over him. He looked up and saw something falling towards him. “Oh, no you don’t,” he said, rolling away from the cactus.
Gurgle, one of our monster skeleton friends, landed where Dan had been sitting a moment before, followed by a creeper named Slesh. These two monsters were the leaders of their kind but were also friendly to us.
“Ha!” Lance said, pointing at the monsters. “Serves that arrow-shooting pile of bones right!” (Lance and Gurgle were rivals, due to the fact that Lance had spent his entire life fighting monsters like skeletons and Gurgle had know Lance to do so).
Gurgle pushed Slesh off of him and got up. “I warn you. There is much different technologies in Tekkit. Some are dangerous, some (if used right) are not. Be careful,” the skeleton said. “I wouldn’t trust any mere human, with the exception of Jayko, with any of it.”
Shadow gave a bark. It was getting dark and he knew all too well what dangers that brought. They needed a shelter.
Dan started to look for materials, but since they were in a desert, there was nothing but sand, which was no good for making roofs because it would just fall until it hit the ground.
Finally, they gave up and continued forward, hoping to get out of the desert.
